Grand Cafe Waterstones - Manchester - Photo album

This coffee shop inside Waterstones is a true hidden gem in Manchester City centre. The staff are attentive, their coffee is creamy and delicious. Their selection of cakes is also great and the environment is lovely and quiet. Keep up the good work! 🫶🏻
I came here for coffee and cake with my mum and this is a really nice cafe inside the bookshop. There was only one person at the counter so service was slow, but the coffee tasted good, they have a soya milk option as well. My mum had cappuccino cake which she said was divine. Plenty of seats and so
Nice cafe on the second floor of Waterstones. Service is friendly, although a little slow. Due to little space on the counter for serving drinks and food and the speed of the service, it means that the people behind in the queue will end up leaning over your cakes to reach the card reader, which is
Found out just before leaving that you got a free drink with the book of the week son took advantage of his purchase and got a hot chocolate. His view was '*5 stars, really good especially with cream and marshmallows'. Staff were really friendly and atmosphere was nice. Would definitely pop in again
Great variety of baked goods and cakes and they are delicious and freshly made ! A special mention to the moka cake : moist, not too sweet and with a very balanced coffee taste.
I have a favourite table just as you walk in! Otherwise, I find it a little uncomfortable if I have to sit towards the back, its a bit like sardine in tin ish .. so star off for that. Coffee nice, cakes are fresher in this waterstone than arndale, staff are better here than arndale waterstone, they
cozy warm atmosphere, lovely friendly attentive staff and delicious quality chai lattes in large cups, which i like, lots of vegan options for drinks & bakes
Love this cafe in waterstones. Coffee is always nice and the staff are genuine and friendly. Cakes are amazing Food is your usual coffee shop standard. They have plenty of tables but it does get busy.
Nice cafe to visit while in the bookshop. Only thing I can fault is our toasted ham cheese sandwich. When they heated it up, it was placed on a napkin so the melted cheese caused the sandwich to stick to the napkin.
A place to get away from the overcrowded busy streets and cafe's in and around the city centre. Its got a library atmosphere quiet and a place to contemplate, surrounded by beautiful written works. Books are constantly under threat from the digital age so a cafe inside a bookshop is a hidden gem.
Always has been good. Nice views l, cozy and Tucked away. Great for a quiet coffee or hot choc away from the crowds.
Ideal location for anyone who has been browsing the books. Good service and quality food. Your tea is made with Tea leaves not a tea bag.
Although I didnt have a coffee here, one of the baristas could see I was a bit lost trying to find a book. She went out of her way to help me and was very kind. I really appreciated it.
Calm place. Good quality drinks and food. A bit expensive for my liking, but they don't take the mickey.
Great cafe honestly thought it would be a side thing but really comfy and great coffee also provides milk alternatives for those that want it.
Staff always friendly. The prefect place to sit with a drink.
Great coffee and nice sandwiches and cakes. Quiet ambience (unless you get millenials doing Zoom interviews.
