Reviews Tokyo Season

Highly recommended. I've only visited Tokyo Season once, with my wife, but would recommend it to anyone visiting Manchester and in need of a Japanese 'fix'.

We opted to eat within the traditional seating area with the sliding doors, and having visited Japan only a few months prior, think that the atmosphere and service was superb!

For once, we never bothered with sushi, but opted for 'safe hands' such as the 'Tokyo Season Platter' to start with which had Teryaki and several other popular options included.

Main course was Katsu curry for both my wife and I, and it was excellent, served in an authentic sauce with plenty of meat. I chose the pork option and it really was excellent.

While my wife opted for regular wine, I had hot sake, and it was served both authentically and was pretty darn good.

I tried a little Japanese on the serving staff, but they didn't understand as they were Chinese! The owners were Japanese though, and the chefs, while Chinese, were fantastic!

This was an experience that I would recommend to anyone, and I would go again at the drop of a hat.

Service fantastic and totally value for money.
