Great pub, always a great atmosphere, especially during live acts, live sports etc.. Good team also. Chris the Landlord has done an amazing job.
Great local pub! The staff are fantastic and the atmosphere is great at the weekends. The prices are very reasonable for chorlton and they have karaoke, live music and much more. They also do lots of great work for charity and the local community
Absolutely love that live music is back at The Royal oak.
I only popped in for a roast and I was pleasantly surprised to find Live music playing, apparently it was an Open mic night and it is now on every week!
I also got told about the Thursday night Quiz and The Monday Night Rock n Roll Bingo which sounds fab, I will definitely be back very very soon!!!
And these Passion fruit cocktails were gorgeous 😍🍸

Love coming to the Royal Oak to watch the football, Today is Mother’s Day and we eat some lovely food, staff were amazing considering how busy it was especially the lady that was the manger that was on shift today, I didn’t get her name but I knew she finished at 7. We had a chat in the garden. If you see this you did amazingly today. Thank you to you all 💕
Went there for a few drinks and lunch before a football match with a few fellow supporters. Plenty of seating in a nicely designed spacious place. A great selection of beers and ciders was on tap. The manager/owner(?) was a super nice guy and even opened the kitchen early so we wouldn't be in a rush to eat and make it to the game. The food was excellent and not expensive. The special lunch menu is an absolute bargain. We'll definitely be back when we play again in that area.

Who can say that the Royal Oak on Chorlton isn't the best local pub. Full of friendly and odd folks makes it a familiar drinking hole for the best seasoned pub goers. Full respect
Hard one to judge but a party of us arrived before lunch ( served at 12 ). The beers were fantastic. The service likewise. Even the Chef spoke with us. My burger was kinda average but still nice. We had put the guys on the spot and they opened early for us. An extra star for that in the circumstances. Good location though for all visitors to local grounds and Chorlton in particular.
Great community pub in the centre of chorlton. Nice selection of lagers and friendly staff serving. Would recommend for a drink.

Love the decor of this modern yet stylish pub. The old matched very well with the new and the food served is of a high standard compared to most retail pubs. Loved by the locals and regulars while making a great impression on newcomers. Friendly and funny staff help make this a welcoming place to be.
Lovely place would love to visit again and again, highly recommend.
