I had the best latte I have ever tasted and the pistachio cream pasty was amazing with fantastic flavours and my girlfriend enjoyed her pink donut and said it was the nicest one she ever had and that it's soft. Staff did an amazing job as there where lots of customers to serve and make lots of drinks. 3 staff at front of house smashed it with lots of customers coming in and becoming more busy. Well done team for your hard work you handled the challenge really well.

A very busy Saturday afternoon was managed well by a team of staff who were doing 101 things to keep the place going. It's not a cheap place to eat, but the quality of the meal was very good and I could recommend the menu with no reservations. A query with the bill (my fault) was handled swiftly and politely and we could not have felt more welcomed. Every single person was working hard but they did not hesitate to help us. A really positive experience.

How to turn a negative in to a positive 5 star review. Ordered soup. It was over seasoned and too salty. Raised concern with staff who were apologetic, offered me my money back. I asked instead to swap to something else. Chose a delicious cheese and onion pie and they offered me a complimentary coffee for my trouble. Excellent customer service and in the end I chose a lovely dish and a top class coffee.

I called in here on my way to the museum on a Monday morning. Quite quiet, I really like the museum theme of the place, nice artwork that looks like it was straight out of a Victorian encyclopaedia. Coffee was good and a great selection of cakes too. For tea lovers there looks to be a fine assortment of brews as well. Staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Will definitely call again.

For a small cafe, this place hits above its weight. It has a good menu covering breakfast, brunch, lite bites and lunch, as well as cakes and tea in the afternoon. They also have a selection of children's meals.

Lovely bright and airy café at the Oxford Road entrance to the Manchester Museum. Nice selection of hot and cold drinks with light snacks and sandwiches available. Plenty of power points on window benches if you need to plug in and wirk for a while; a couple of outdoor tables and bike racks just outside the door.

Love the pastry, especially the croissants. A crusty shell, simply a good dough and baked in the perfect shape. Bonus points about it is they support the local bakers. Coffee can be better.

Nice cafe which you can use as we did without going to the museum. Plenty of choice, for veggies and vegans including desserts. You order at counter giving your table number and they bring food. Good good and decent portion sizes. Only thing that was disappointing was the plastic straw in glass bottle, if know could have requested not to use one and the sandwich came in a package so must be made off site.

I'm in the shop, admiring the patter of the attendant - she really engaged with would-be purchasers 😃👏

Great food and coffee - amazing bread - but the service can be very slow. Great place for scones. Limited offer of savoury food after 2:30 on Sundays.
