This is the most welcoming bar in Chorlton! Staff are great, the people are great, the music/DJ’s are great and the drinks are cheap. What more do you want from a bar? Every time I come I meet new people, make great friends and have a laugh. Jam Street never disappoints!

Jam Street Café is an absolute MUST visit when in Chorlton: unmissable! This is definitely an hidden (?) gem in all Manchester. Great vibe and atmosphere, super friendly & caring staff, everyone is welcome, and I say everyone!! There is a new theme night on a Thursday: it is open mic Comedy Night, and after attending yesterday evening, I can say it is brilliant, with a lot of nice, funny, talented people trying their very best to entertain you. Last night was very busy with people from England, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, West & North Africa, the Middle-East and even from the US: what a beautiful melting pot ;-) Thank you Kaz (Bar's Manager) for making every night at Jam a SPECIAL night!

4 lads popped in for a pint after dinner for the open mic, wished we could've stayed longer but had to do an Irish goodbye. Proper good laugh, will be back

Had my belated 40th birthday here a couple of weeks ago. Caroline was brilliant in helping me sort what spaces we could use (some people with kids, some wanting to watch the FA Cup Final etc) and on the day we all had a great time - helped by J and then Jake on the bar. Great place!

Really friendly staff and a cosy interior with comfortable seating. I went for an afternoon drink with a friend and would definitely return in future. Apparently there are frequent events including karaoke.

What a great venue. Fun, buzzing atmosphere. The clue is in the title. Those who can sing and or play an instrument did. Great fun, great sounds, no pressure. We will visit again in the future

Absolutely fantastic place. I attended along with 21 other people for a baby shower. The cost to hire the venue was so competitive and the buffet food provided was OUTSTANDING! Everyone wanted to take food home it was that good. The staff were exceptional; nothing was too much trouble. We were really well looked after and the setting was very cosy and perfect for a bunch of ladies and mum to be! I will most definitely be going back. I love this place and the wonderful staff and amazing food! Thank you Jam Street ❤

I attended a wake at Jam Street Café & was happily surprised by it's very friendly & homely atmosphere. It was warm & cosy, with a wide selection of very reasonably priced drinks & fast service.

I love jam street and all the staff! The food is just excellent! I went there in the early evening that day before before valentines day for a tapas meal with my boyfriend. Melissa who works behind the bar set a lovely candle lit table for you near the piano! Then a little later some a the locals/regulars started appearing and we had a lovely chat up. I even meet some new lovely people. The music is very free and inspiring at jam street. Some people have been playing together in bands in Manchester for over 30 years. They are true musicians and even play on the street (busking). Jam street is a place of well seasoned players who know want its means to be a musician. It's a honour to watch and it's an honour to join in! It's a good place to go if you like raggae, blues and Jazz! I can honestly say that it's one of the safest places to drink and be merry. People are respectful. It's a multicultural place for those who love to meet new people from all backgrounds and ethnicities.

Great friendly little bar on Upper Chorlton Road in Whalley Range. Good selection of imported beers on draught, and a great selection of spirits and wines. Not pricey either. So all good here.

Intimate function room upstairs, great for small exhibitions or acoustic gigs and readings. Bar is well stocked, staff are friendly and live music is gone curious variety. Check out Calypso George and his Baytown crew on Friday nights. Bring your own bass.

"This is a true and fair review. Im not paid for this or in anyway related to the owners". Ok this warm friendly venue is what you could describe as a cafe winebar establishment open everyday and most evenings. Nice Food served (upstairs, & downstairs), cosy seating, well stocked bar area (you can even use your card). Jam street also has the added bonus of a "musicians jam night" on weds & friday evenings. So if your also into playing an instrument 'at any level' do pay a visit on weds or friday eves.Your encouraged to bring your own instrument, guitar, bass, sax, flute, Vocals, violin, harmonica, in fact whatever your into playing live. Jam nights include all music styles From Reggae to blues, and soul on weds, plus Virtually any genre on fridays. Or simply get down there with your friends for a drink and chill whilst having a listen."Please no show offs or musical posers". Decent toilets and Reasonable parking. Check it out see you soon.
