Arrived at the barlow croft ordered two carverys and 2 soft drinks, staff were extremely polite, friendly the meal was to a high standard. We had the beef and turkey, potatoes mash and gravy excellent taste. Would highly recommend you to try. Unfortunately they don't have Sky sports. But lovely families and pet friendly.

For the parents of a busy toddler looking for fun things to do in Didsbury - this is a perfect affordable activity on a weekday morning. We go on a morning and run around the wacky warehouse (which is usually quiet) then treat ourselves to a carvery at midday. Special shout out to Bekah in the Wacky Warehouse who is always polite, delightful and treats us like VIPs.

This was the first time for us visiting here, and I will definitely be going again. The staff are lovely and the service and the food was tasty. We had a mix of food off the menu and we had carvery for 6 of us. Quite good value for money and very nice too. 👌 I would definitely recommend it here if you want a lovely meal.

Barlow Croft is a well placed, large and open spaced pub owned by the Green King company. Very modern decor and tastefully laid out. Predominantly an eating style pub serving a wide variety of pub style meals with a wide choice on the menu. They do have a pool table, Sports are also shown on TV. Located near to TenPin, Ciniworld, Nandos, Wagmama, Fiveguys and the Wacky Warehouse it's an ideal meet-up place before moving on elsewhere. Travelodge is next door which also make this venue a good position as this Travelodge does not have a bar or serve food. I visited Sunday morning to try out the full English Breakfast which had been recommended to me a couple of nights earlier when I stopped off for a drink. The venue is nice, clean and very open, seating inside is comfortable and if the weather is good seating outside is also an option. Staff are well presented and smartly dressed and some will engage in conversation if you kick start it off. As well as the menu items there are daily specials. Parking is easy in a well lit carpark, disabled spaces are positioned right outside the entrance. Toilets are clean and to an excellent standard. Baby changing and disabled toilets are easily accessible. This is a nice venue, I would highly recommend it. Food cooked to order and arrived hot, overall the breakfast was nothing special, eggs looked perfect but for me the yoke needs to be runny, hash browns were bland and the beans were a little on the dry side. Sausages were perfect and very tasty. I'm not normally critical about an English Breakfast but to be honest after travelling around a lot I've had my fair share and think I'm in a good position to judge if this is good or not. The 4 Starr rating is because I was over charged on this visit, no idea how this could happen as its all on the touch screen tills with the prices already inputted. Once this was pointed out the staff member refunded the difference with no issues. If this review was informative enough for you give it a thumbs up or like to let other know about the place

We have been coming here for years and generally the experience is great. There seems to be less tables now than there used to be and pretty much no hope of getting a table without pre-booking. Yet a lot of tables are left empty for over an hour, sometimes up to three. Perhaps they could allow walk ins to sit at these and just explain that they do have a time limit though.

Sorry. Edited as didnt have much time the other evening. we were staying in a local ish hotel and decided to have a venture out and googled carvery places. From the minute driving into the carpark and coming inside there were no dissappointments at all. The food was gorgeous and we were given a lovely food box to take the rest away which we enjoyed later for supper. Lots of smiles and felt really welocme which means so much to us personally with some issues we have to endure with life at the moment. So really appreciate the warm welcome and friendly environment. So only right to come on and spend a few more minutes giving credit where it is due to all. All lovely staff especially James is a credit to the place. Thank you only wish we lived closer but we will definitely be returning when passing by will make a concious decision to :) Take care everyone see you soon x

Bekah and Paige were absolutely amazing in hosting and running our daughter’s 8th birthday party. They both went above and beyond in making sure the atmosphere was fun, everything was going smoothly and even handled the smaller details like cake cutting for us. Such lovely people - we’ll be back for our younger daughters celebrations for sure!

We've not been to the Wacky Warehouse play centre here before, but I'm glad we did! The play centre itself is a lot bigger than any other Wacky Warehouse ones I've seen and the girl supervising, Bekah, was super nice and really helpful! I have to say, I take my daughter to Wacky Warehouses with her friend a lot, and not only is this the best equipped okay centre we've ever been to, but Bekah is the most helpful staff member I've ever met!

One of the best value carvery I’ve had in the week. Great price and the food all tasted good and fresh. Can’t fault the value and the staff were friendly too.
