One of the better pubs in Manchester when it comes to appearances. Gorgeous exterior and interior with lots of flowers, unique photos from back in the day, and plenty of George Best memorabilia. A proper Man United pub. A ton of draft options but also some great cask handles. Lots of space to find a table and enjoy a pint.

Great pub. You don't often find a proper boozer in city centres anymore, too many chain pubs/bars. But The Nags is a proper boozer, great staff, great pub, great atmosphere.

Decent boozer, good city centre location, stands out amongst some more trendy “bars”. Karaoke on a Friday night which was very entertaining! Good pint of Guinness.

Great pub with space over 3 floors... the first floor having a dance floor and a DJ, while the second floor is a quieter terrace where you can chill out and talk without loud music in the background. Lovely atmosphere, very welcoming and inclusive.

Lovely little local pub. We went in to watch the Grand National as they were showing it on their TVs. Very welcoming and attentive bar staff. Reasonably priced drinks. It's a lovely little find down a side street, you're made to feel like one of the locals.

Been a while since Flat visired this homage to Manchester pub. ( esp UNITED). walls covered in photos of days gone by. Georgie Best in particular. Chose a good pint of Taylor's Landlord over Black Sheep, Dizzy Blond and Doom Bar. Pub has good roof terrace for better months than Jan. Used to love walking into the Rising Sun from Lincoln Squsre..out back..into Nags Head, out back..down alley into Lord Abercrombie. Very short pub crawl! ( Building work cutting off back alley..!)

The Mancunian pub tradition at its best. I've ben in this pub on a lazy sunday afternoon and It was so crowded with people, drinking beers and watching football on TV. Everyone with the United jersey: awesome! The place is big and very well decorated with flowers, photos and other Manchester memorabilia. Beers are good and the atmosphere, too. This is the true Manchester

Great pub, it's a bit of a TARDIS as it definitely bigger on the inside. There are about three floors with different bars and a roof top terrace. It gets very busy.

A must visit traditional pub if your in the city centre. Excellent atmosphere & friendly staff this one of the best pubs in Manchester if your looking for a lively night out with DJ/Karaoke on most weekends. There's also a Free function room upstairs which is great for any event (ask at the bar). Go one more floor up & you will find the recently refurbished roof garden trust me it's a secret sun trap in the summer.

The Old Nags Head is the mother of all hidden gems in Manchester. Just of Deansgate on Jackson's Row . You can easily pass it as it is very modest from the outside but when you step in you don't want to leave because of the treasure and the history you will discover in it. I am not to go into details just look at the photos . What is make it also extremely nice and enjoyable to be there is the staff they are so nice helpful and proud of the place they work in and tell you about it. VIMTO
