We ordered #2 and #5 on the Persian menu. Extremely nice authentic food and lovely, chatty staff. Would definitely recommend. Had peppermint syrup americano also which was really nice.
Might not look like much from the outside but this place is making some seriously delicious and truly authentic Persian food.
Very friendly owner and lovely service. We have been explained about the ingredients too. Local cafe atmosphere. Although I was not expecting £2.50 for a dip of olives. Coffee had a strange aftertaste which may come from the milk used. Parking is available in the supermarket opposite, free for 2 hou
This cafe is the absolute definition of a hidden gem. From the outside it looks like just a regular greasy spoon cafe, but the menu has some surprises on offer. Alongside the regular cafe offerings, there's a set of traditional, home-cooked Persian dishes which blew me away completely. As a fan of L
I love Metro. I always eat the wonderful Persian food, so tasty, huge portions and very reasonable prices. It's a family run business, and you really feel like part of the family when you eat there. The decor, seating etc is a bit basic, but don't let that put you off. The food is just lovely.
Can't recommend this place enough. We went there after seeing a piece on MEN - and it was absolutely worth it. The Persian food is amazing - extremely flavoursome, very tender meat, and hearty. Their baklavas are also great - and huge! The owners are lovely - come here to support this local business
Visited this gem with my missus today. The decor is understated and modest but not without charm. The best Persian food ive tried in Greater Manchester! Highly recommend
I live a quiet traditional breakfast in here. My favorite fry up by far. None of these fancy attempts ....... Why try and fix what's already good. They are friendly and it feels like a good old fashion caf. It's nice to watch the world go by too.
Pretty chilled café serving both traditional English breakfast as well as a selection of Persian dishes. I had the chicken with rice and it was delicious. The owner was friendly and attentive. Nice coffee too.
Really enjoyed it.. Decided against a fry up and tried one of the Persian meals. Good decision! So much flavour, great texture, and amazing rice.
My partner has the special breakfast... And the mushrooms and fried bread were particularly good.
Nice cup of tea too!
Nice place for breakfast. Might be a little expensive.
The staff are lovely Iranian couple.
A cafe of two halves - traditional greasy spoon and fantastic home made Perisan food. Prices for both looked very good. Not your fancy sourbread and avacado place, but a traditional cafe where you can get a decent fry up for a good price. The bread is cheap white sliced, and that's exactly how it sh
Just really good, authentic, home cooked food. Majid is lovely, made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be coming here often!
We had a full breakfast and mirza ghasemi from the Persian menu - both absolutely delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful, really enjoyed our visit.
We just had a lovely dinner here, from the traditional Persian menu. The cafe also serves a good mix of traditional English, Vegetarian and Halal food. Very friendly service from Majid.
Great food
A really good 'greasy spoon' in the very heart of Chorlton. Great owner, great food, please visit. Prices super reasonable for the amazing quality food served. The business.
The halal English breakfast was really good with generous portions, a bit on the pricey side but that's to be expected when it's a niche option.
The owner Majid is absolutely delightful
