Black Milk NQ is an amazing little cafe that has very friendly and welcoming staff. Having been here numerous times I've seen the cafe in its full swing. The staff are always happy to help and I've never seen a member of staff be rude or disrespectful, it's the amazing shakes and the friendliness of the staff that have me returning! Keep it up Black Milk!

We went especially for the milkshakes and were not disappointed! Friendly staff, outrageously fab menu, well worth the hour in the car. Waffles next time!

Love this place. I had the Kinderella shake and it was so good. It's good to see an independent cafe doing well in the northern quarter

It is a good dessert place, If you're in town and craving for some delicious milkshake or pancakes? This is the place to be!!! Its an excellent hangout place with friends, colleagues and partners. I went with my family, my kids enjoyed their pancakes (cookies and cream, Nutella and Strawberry pancakes), my wife enjoyed her milkshake and i enjoyed my Pistachio white hot chocolate. We couldn't finish our pancakes.. Saying that the portion is amazing so yes definitely value for money. Parking?! You're in town so best of luck finding that. Overall enjoyed it and yes definitely going there soon again.

Impeccable service from Kirsty! We loved the desserts and were met with lovely, timely service. Would definitely recommend if in the city centre. Only downside is it isn’t in the most pleasant location, but that is Manchester for you!

Brilliant food, really nice staff, quick service. Kinderella Pancake Stack was so good, really filling, couldn't finish it all but enjoyed every single bite, sticky toffee pudding was super good too. Hot choc was super chocolatey and definitely worth it. Highly recommended if you're in the Manchester centre 🥞

I was there with my bf . When we entered there was no free space to sit but we waited 2min and took a table that just got free. We ordered biscoff pancakes with the scoop of toffee ice cream. It was The.Best. We shared a plate and got full cause it’s really sweet . But the mix of hot pancakes and caramel sauce and cold ice-cream is the best. We loved it. You never regret it and i strongly recommend it when you craving smth sweet.

Pancakes were super yummy, especially the pistachio and white chocolate stack. Had ran out of lots of items so would have liked to have tried them but other than that it was fab, clearly understaffed but the staff that were there were super friendly and clearly working very hard

The portion are really big for the price. We didnt know and honestly ordered too much 😅 it was lovely though. I really liked the interior of the shop as well. Would definitely recommend though be aware of your own sweet tolerance, might be good to share the main dish and have drinks on the side.

I popped in here to work while in Manchester on business. I usually stay in a coffee shop for about half an hour and then move on. I worked in here all afternoon, largely due to the smashing coffee (even the decaff is good) and a huge peppermint tea. The desserts are amazing things. Very highly recommended.

Super cute ice cream/milkshake/dessert café! The staff are really welcoming, plenty of seats and great prices. I had the pistachio and white chocolate sundae, sooooo good. My husband had one of their milkshakes, and our friends also loved their choices! Dog friendly, in an alternative party of Manchester that's cool to visit!

Originally went for pancakes and waffles but they were sadly out of them. Settled for a sunday, a salted caramel iced coffee and a lotus cake. The size is definitely worth it and the taste is just beautiful. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit. I will be back again but hopefully try the other parts of the menu. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

Well... i need a gym membership after all that ice cream. What a lovely place! We had the Kinderella Sundae and thank god we shared otherwise i think i would have slipped into a coma. The young chap who served us was very welcoming and friendly. Its a little pricey but the size of the portion you don't feel too disheartened. The smoothest ice cream with Beautiful flavour!

We have visited Black Milk twice now and both times have both been super impressed. The pancakes are my absolute favourite and the coffees are amazing too! The staff have always been helpful and gave fab recommendations of things to try. I would highly recommend purchasing some of the hazelnut cream to take home too - it’s delicious!

The best pancake, brunch, and dessert spot on Oldham Street. Not only do they make the best heart warming breakfast and brunch, but Chef Kendra makes the most amazing cakes and cookies. Faultless service from blue eyed Gaz and punk rock Aliza always makes for a cracking visit!

I'm really torn with this place, it has lost everything I loved about the place when it was in afflecks Palace. It use to sell a huge array of cereal in chocolate bowls that you could eat and big amazing milkshakes with a slab of perfect cheesecake on top. It was like nothing else I'd had or seen. But now it's just a normal dessert shop. Buuuuut I'm not reviewing what it use to be. The fact it stays open late is great, and even at 8 o'clock, it was nice and busy, which we like to see.the menu is on a QR code, which is easy to use. We had the white chocolate and pistachio pancakes, and they were INCREDIBLE. They use their own sauces, which can be bought. The staff were lovely. Its definitely worth a visit.
