This restaurant is already well on the way to becoming one of the best Indian restaurants in Manchester, if not, the country. Already travelled up from the Midlands twice since its opening. Service is fantastic. The food is of the highest quality. As a real foodie and specialist in Indian cuisine myself, it was a joy to taste the effort and hard work put into the unique ingredients in every dish I've ordered. Its not often I am satisfied when eating at Indian restaurants, but just the food itself here is worth travelling up for. The restaurant has its very own cocktail.making specialist who offers a unique personal experience. My Rum cocktail was amazing! Other things to note are that the restaurant has a separate wine lounge to chill out in or hire which is something I will bear in mind, aswell as a separate vegetarian kitchen and restaurant. Thoughtful! All in all.. I am a very satisfied customer. Exceeded my expectations. The best thing is, this place will only get better!

I love this place and will definitely be going back. Very authentic Indian flavours. I haven't come across any other restaurant in Manchester where the chef is capable and is happy to alter the dish to suit your palate !! The staff were very welcoming. Being a vegetarian, I also love the fact that they have a separate kitchen and dining area - which I haven't come across anywhere in the UK! May be I'll stick to this place altogether ;) Sad I cannot attach any pictures which I couldn't resist snapping - the way the food was presented was brilliant.

Nice Lamb Chops

We went here first time last week for dinner with our family and friends. Nice place and convenient car parking.

I had Lamb chops for the starter and it was very nice and juicy. My daughter wanted Ghee dosa but her dosa was bit burnt and she did not like it.

Main dishes were ok, no complaints.

I would request the staff to check the plates before giving them, one of the plates we were given had a crack and when one of my friends put finger on the plate small tiny piece from the cracked plate pierced in to her finger.

Also when keeping or giving the plate please mention the plate is hot so that kids are careful when they touch it.

We went today to try the breakfast buffet menu. They have a good selection of breakfast items if you want to try different indian breakfast recipes. They had idli, vada, pongal, chole batura on the buffet and dosa/masala dosa can be ordered so they can bring it to your table freshly prepared. The staff are very helpful and service was good. Overall yummy food with good variety at a reasonable price.

I travelled 90 miles especially to have the South Indian breakfast here, to recreate the memories of holidays in Kerala. I was very impressed, the food exceeded my expectations. The flavours were so delicious and it was extremely good value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was good, the music was nice and not intrusive. I will definitely make the journey again as soon as possible.

Best Indian restaurant in Manchester. It’s my all time favourite place to eat Dosa. Specially authentic South Indian food is available here. Someone who’s missing Indian home food just come and enjoy your food here. Nice service Staff is very friendly Nice ambiance. Good maintenance. Car parking also available. I ordered multiple items like Masala Dosa, ghee karam dosa, vada, veg fried rice, mango lassi, chicken starters, veg starters, drinks etc . They served with two different chutneys along with delicious sambar. All food items are really good.

Went to a birthday celebration for a family member. This restaurant is one of those which offers reliably tasty food at reasonable price and fairly good service. The menu is extensive with numerous vegan dishes. It's spacious and well lit but depending on which table you are sat at, you are exposed to the draught which can be most uncomfortable. Fair amount of parking available.

Been a while since I've been here, but still doesn't disappoint. Great tasting starters followed by mains with substantial portion sizes. Flavours are great, naga lamb was marked as very hot, but don't be afraid to try it as it's not as got as you'd expect it to be. Lamb was cooked to perfection with the meat just dropping off the bone. Veg dishes are worth try even if you're a may eater.

Sai spice is near the tram stop, just a couple of mins walk from Barlow moor road. Enjoyed the food here, specially the oothapam, Egg fries rice and chicken fries rice. Naan and chicken butter masala were very good. Would enjoy coming back for the fries rice or oothapam. If you are seated in the waiting area, quick grab the massage chair. It feels awesome to relax in it for a few mins

For service, taste and authenticity it's quite typical of what you might find in a restaurant in Delhi.

While in Manchester I came across Sai Spice . Spacious restaurant, quick service, and a lot of options. The food was tasty however the biryani was a flop as there was no salt added (human error) nothing was done about it n was charged full price even after letting the staff know . Plenty parking space . Try out their butter rotis and chilli garlic chicken also their dosa

I have to say the staff is very polite and welcoming. The place is big, very well equipped for special occasions. There is even a large private room to hire for events. Starters are around £1 more than average. Mains around £2 more than average. However quality is good, and parking is free. Meats are properly marinated and sauces are mild spicy. Lamb chops starters are highly recommended! Besides it was a pleasure finding out the toilets are very clean.

Good amount of free parking. Good spaced tables so it didn't feel cramped. Adequate number of staff. Varied menu. Good food. Several I know recommended place. Good option for families. But if you go alone stick to starters unless you just want to eat one dish. I don't enjoy just having one dish and prefer to try out many dishes. The only way to do that when visiting alone is to try the Thali (which isn't an option here unfortunately like many other Indian restaurants). So if you are going alone then consider this Vs other options. I had idly vada, the idly was good and fluffy and sambhar was good although on water side and would have preferred slightly thicker sambhar. The coconut chutney was good. The other tangy chutney that comes with it was also good. Had lamb biryani which comes with option of raita or curry. I chose the raita both lamb biryani and raita were good although would have preferred a bit more cucumber and probably some onions in it. The biryani quantity was good and taste was fine. But would have preferred to have a thali option so that could have tasted several items. The owners need to look at different thali options like available in many other restaurants so that they can cater to individuals who might prefer to come alone while traveling. In the mean time if I go again I will stick to having several starters instead of a main course. I also took a take away of non veg mix starter for 2, can't remember what it was called on menu. It was fine. Over all it was good but wouldn't run to it again like I usually do when I really like a place. But wouldn't mind going again when I am again in the area. I travel for food and drove slightly over an hour to get to this place. Forgot to take a photo of the biryani as was disappointed not to find a Thali on the menu while traveling alone. But the food I had was good.
