Great little gem of a place for lunch. I had spring rolls, coffee with condensed milk & a bahn mi. All the food was fresh & so tasty. The spring rolls were amazing - packed full of filling. All the staff were lovely & very friendly. I will definitely be back to try the pho.

Top notch cafe! awesome food - awesome coffee - awesome service! Its our crews regular go to place after either saturday parkrun or bootcamp sundays! try the special spring rolls!... oh n the banh mi baguette thing! and the pho! actually just try anything, you'll naturally want to go back to try everything else! ha! :p

I love Vietnamese coffee, and this place serves the best I've had outside Vietnam. The shop it's in is also brilliant, finally a place in Manchester to get Vietnamese ingredients. And the people who work in here are lovely. I'm really glad we have this in Manchester now.

Hidden Gem
I always order the Vietnamese sandwich, especially with the pork belly! Also give the filtered coffee a go, its delicious! Big portion and price is the cheapest compared to the other Vietnamese restaurant. The cheapest and price worthy Vietnamese restaurant in Manchester I must say.
My absolutely favorite comfort food. I've been here probably more than 3 times this year !! Everything is made so fresh at such an affordable price. Grilled pork is the best, tastes like its cooked from a proper charcoal grill. Vietnamese iced coffee is also a must here, highly recommend.
My go to vietnamese restaurant. My favourite is the bun bo hue, has a little kick to it and uses my favourite thick vermicelli noodles too.
You should also get the fried spring rolls as the skin texture is totally different from your standard spring roll skin. If you want something more refreshing then order the summer rolls.
It’s always busy during the weekend. Just a note with small kids, they only have one high chair but smaller pram fits fine near the table etc.
Very authentic Vietnamese food and a perfect for a quick lunch (even though it took almost twenty minutes till our food was served). But it tasted really good, especially the broth of the Pho was really tasty. But also the original Ban Mi tasted just like it should like. Would come back anytime.
Yep, it’s a 5* rating, the food is sensational. We both had the vegetarian/ vegan pho dishes, tofu summer rolls, jasmine tea, amazingly full and content. Restaurant is basic in design and decor, but who cares when the food is so good.
Without a doubt, this is my favourite place to eat Vietnamese food. Such delicious food and the staff are always so kind. Me and my partner have tried a few Vietnamese restaurants in Manchester, but this one really is the best of the best. We always manage to get seated in a timely manner, even when they’re busy, and the prices are hard to beat!
Absolutely stunning. The pho has lovely aroma and tastes really light but busting with flavour. It's tasty and filling. This is a really good place to try Vietnamese food if you never had because it really delivers.
Stir fry beef noodles also very good and has nice flavours.
Customer service very very good and the woman is very kind. Same goes to the gentleman who took our order.

Hands down the best of the best Pho I have ever had in my life. After trying all the Pho Manchester has to provide, I would recommend Ca Phe Viet as an absolute must. If you're looking for the #1 Vietnamese restaurant in Manchester city, it's this one. I have already been here over five times (edit twenty*) now and have nothing but praise. I would especially mention that they have amazing vegetarian and vegan options available!

We had our late launch here today. Foods were very tasty and the staffs were very friendly and nice.
Basically this is a small restaurant in a Vietnamese shop (or maybe a shop in a restaurant?!).
The place is a bit hard to notice, my partner have been here before, and he decided to take me here to try his top 1 Vietnamese spring roll today.
- Crispy pork spring roll (3 rolls)
As the name, it's really crispy! Texture was really good, and the flavor was just great! Spring rolls themselves were chunky, not like some places serve skinny ,tiny and greasy spring rolls.
It came with 2 kind of dippings, one I think it's Vietnamese sweet chilli sauce, another one I assume it's Vietnamese white vinegar with some chill and something else inside, both dipping taste great!
- Pork & prawn fried dumplings (4 pc)
I was really impressed with the dumplings as they were not greasy at all!
They taste light and fresh, you won't even feel guilty while eating them as they are deep fried.
I now just realized, I think the sweet chilli sauce dipping was actually for dumpings I think? They taste amazing anyways!!!
- Pho with slow cook beef
I was impressed with this one as well, the broth was so fresh and light, not too salty not to plain. The beef was oh • my • god! probably was the most tender beef I've ever had in my life so far.
They will also bring you one more long plate with bean sprouts, fresh mint, lemon, and chilli for you to add in your pho by choice. I personally added lemon, chilli and bean sprout.
- BBQ pork banh mi
The pork itself had really good grilled flavor, and it's tender. In between the bread it had some vinegar marinated carrot & raddish, coriander and chill. Also some homemade mayo maybe? Overall it had good flavor and the ingredients were great combination!
Overall it's a great place, great flavor, and reasonable price with good portion of foods.
I'd love to visit again in the future, very tasty!
Very reasonable price for a hot dinner. £31 for two big portions pho, one portion fried spring roll and one iced coffee. Service was good. It can be difficult for people who doesn’t like small menu as there isn’t a lot of food options.
The fried spring roll and the bbq pork is soo good. Highly recommend this place. Very Authentic. Had the dry soup noodles and it’s the best viet restaurant in UK
