City Road Inn - Manchester - Photo album

As an American I had my first ever English pub football watching experience here. I also had my first meat pie. The gravy was delicious and it was a good time.
Honestly, words can't really describe my encounter with the city road inn. Came up from London and just fancied a lovely pint in a normal pub with good people and good atmosphere. I got that in abundance but the best part of it was my pie and mash. To die for! The mothership was unbelievable! Pie, m
In the top two for best Guinness in Manchester. Very underrated boozer, lovely staff.
The service was second to none. It was a bit quiet when we went but we got table service for drinks and the staff were super friendly and a good laugh. We spent a few hours here on a Saturday lunch day drinking session and we'll come again.
Soon as we walked in the door we were met with the warmest of welcomes! Great drinks & food! Cracking proper pub! Thank you for a lovely afternoon. 4 girls from Hull
Had a few hours to kill today , so bobbed in for a few pints and pie and mash 😋 spot on great old traditional pub
Excellent proper pub amongst trendy expensive bars. The landlady was great company and friendly to everyone who came in, superb choice of beers/food at a very competitive price. Looking forward to returning.
The best boozer in Manchester central… can’t complain. It’s the best pub in Manchester. Nicola who’s the land lady is the best xxx
I have just been here tonight with some friends to watch the football and with us all being from liverpool we wasnt sure what to expect, we asked if they would be showing the liverpool match which was slim chance as the manchester united match was also playing too at more or less the same time, but
I'm from Melbourne, Australia and I absolutely loved City Road Inn. Great English Pub food and a great atmosphere. If I'm in Manchester again, I will definitely be back
