The Moon Under Water - Manchester - Photo album

My favourite wetherspoons so far visited in Manchester. Looks small from the outside, but as you move through the pub, it's deceptively large. Vibrant atmosphere and hardly any spare tables despite having 3 bars! Very nicely decorated, keeping some original features like the leaded lights. Good cho
This is a great pub with two floors that get very busy . all sorts of people go to this pub from football fans - concert & theatre goers to people on just a night out & visitors to Manchester . whoever you are, you're found a warm welcome .you can go up to the bar or order on the wetherspoon app and
Good atmosphere and friendly staff. The place is quite big, with two floors, and well decorated. The food is as expected in a spoons, I would say affordable and quality/quantity as expected for the price, but it used to be better a few years ago. I order the Withby scallops as I wanted to try a new
Today was my first to the moon it was a sub zero day as we walked it was lovely and warm, the place was busy but we found a seat, I ordered our food at the bar the member of staff was very welcoming and we were soon served it was warm and tasty, would I return yes as is very handy for x 43 bus.
A brilliant pub with decent that’s a great price. The pub is also pretty big. The staff are friendly and helpful and it’s in a great location. We visited during the late afternoon, then popped back after a gig at the AO Arena. Music is on until the early morning, but it’s not too loud, so you can st
It was quite busy when we arrived so struggled to find an empty table. Had to ask for it to be cleaned when we ordered, which it was, promptly. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. Could do with more choice for deserts. As it's in city centre Mancheste
People always look down on Wetherspoons. However, it's a good place for drinks and some food. Never had a bad experience here!
I was visiting Manchester for a night out with a close friend, we visited Moon Under The Water, Such a wonderful and unique building. Full of features and amazing details. Great music from the DJ, Dancing on the dance floor. Having an amazing time without a care in the world. Would definitely visit
Lovely little place in Manchester. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy place to eat, as we're the toilets once you've climbed all the stairs lol. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Would love to visit again and would recommend to family and friends. Nice name also. Bus service runs close by as does t
First visit in a few years. ( First came in the 1970's when it was the ABC cinema to see Gone with the Wind re-release.) Large, L shaped floor plan with even more seating upstairs in a 360° balcony. Often found the back bar is quicker service at peak times. Can get mobbed. Some front outdoor seatin
A decent-sized meal and two pints in the middle of Manchester for 17 quid per head. You're lucky to get one or the other for that anywhere else in central Manchester. It was absolutely packed on a Saturday afternoon, we struggled to get a table, when we did we ordered on the app, and we had our drin
We ordered wings and fruit salad which came quickly and were presented well. Lots of people enjoying the premises which is enormous . Bar team were approachable and friendly. Lots of choice and plenty of offers
There's nothing like a good Weatherspoons. You always know what to expect. Amazing food, amazing ambience, and amazing service. This spoons in particular is my and my wives favourite as it's so large with 3 bars in total. It's at a great location and is a meaningful place for us.
The moon under water is a really good Wetherspoons. It's a big pub with a large upstairs seating area. There's a wide choice of beers larger and cider and there was a good choice of hand pulled cask conditioned real ale at prices cheaper than any pubs nearby, and the ones I tried were in perfect con
We visited the moon twice in the same day we were that happy with the venue. As with every weather spoon's the value is great and the selection of food and drinks is extensive. This building is incredible and so big inside with plenty of tables and seating. We had a few drinks before going to footba
Great night the pub was packed staff working so hard yet still smiling the girls behind the bar were amazing . One issue really does need an extra dedicated glass collector and extra glass washer upstairs on busy weekends / holidays . No food bought as no room on tables due to previous comment. Ho
This is a huge venue in comparison to some of the others under the Wetherspoons name. The service was quick and spot on. We visited the city for my partner's 40th and it was a great evening. Shots were ordered here and they came quick and were rather tasty in flavour often they taste of neat alcohol
