Hands down the best sushi place in Greater Manchester! So delicious and super fresh. I enjoyed the Zumuku special roll and the Fuji roll very much, but the eel nigiri they make is out of this world!
On top of that, the place offers 50% off all sushi (except sharing platters) every Tuesday..tbh it's an unbeatable quality, price and overall experience!
Went here for a work lunch and they re doing two courses and a soft drink for 14 quid. Great stuff... I had the katsu curry and breaded chicken which was delicious and I had the chicken on sticks thing (can't remember the name, but is was also great... maybe chicken teriyaki). Well recommended, enjoyed it all. The photos are what someone else had... one is chilli chicken upon noodles, the other some for of sushi.
The sushi was amazing - and we’ve tried plenty of sushi restaurants. Presentation was fab too. Staff are so friendly and we never waited for drinks or anything! Have recommended to all my family!
Can't go wrong with the salmon bowl or the chicken katsu curry, both delicious. The togarashi fries are not bad either. I wouldn't really recommend the chicken wings, they weren't something special - had them with the spicy sauce separate, so the wings themselves were more the let-down.
But many other things to choose from ;)
The best sushi that we have had in Manchester. Amazing that we got the opportunity to try with it being 50% off too! We ordered £100 worth of sushi including the fresh sushi tacos (crab tacos and salmon and tuna tacos) and only paid £50 for everything ! Quality of the food was just top notch - Would definitely be returning!
The host was also very warm and welcoming - shout out to Jake for being so lovely despite coming in to work on his day off in this heat!
It was very hot and humid without any aircon in the restaurant; fortunately, we brought our own portable fan for us and the baby!
This is not a typical Japanese restaurant. The interior design is fusion, so are the meals. They gave another amazing experience. The staff were all nice, polite and responsive. We had a joyful lunch hour.
Amazing Sushi as usual! We lived in Singapore for 12 years, and since being back we have been searching for really good Asian food. This place does not disappoint... 11 and 16 year old have been rating the places we have tried and everything has been between 4 and 6 out of 10, until we came here... 9/10 the first time and 10/10 the second! We could not recommend Zumuku more! The Volcano Rolls are a must, as well as the Sashimi platter.
What a great place to eat.
The sushi was outstanding and do very well presented, the Udon and chicken dish we ordered was fresh and well made.
Staff were super friendly.
3 of us went for dinner. We hadn't booked but found a window table really easy on a Saturday night. Server was excellent. Majority of the starter were excellent. But the chicken wasn't piping hot. I can guarantee that the food isn't probed before it is sent out. The staff were all very young (and therefore cheap) there didnt seem to be any senior experienced restaurant manager running the restaurant and it showed as young staff are always talking to each other and not customers. Wilmslow has a glut of fabulous restaurants all walking distance for us. This has the potential to be a shining light of wilmslow but everything needs to be on point on a Saturday night. You cant have things missing. Our own server was excellent. Very very good.
Fantastic ambience, great food and the best cocktails I have had. The service is excellent, highly recommend this restaurant and the bar, the bartender makes exceptional cocktails and clearly has a passion for his work. Food quality is 5 star.
Found online. Gorgeous interior, service was fantastic and the food was delicious. We had the all you can eat menu, very good value for money. Would definitely recommend. Will be returning!
Meal with both sets of parents. Was a very enjoyable meal, food was well presented.
Note: we went during the cold spell and sat by a window and it was keep your jacket on cold.
I’ve eaten here for special occasions twice in the last three weeks. Sushi was absolutely super and everyone who ate sushi agreed. Friend who has the udon vegetarian noodles really enjoyed them, though the katsu curry I had on my first visit was not the best I’ve ever had but still ok. There are quite a few hot dishes to choose from and plenty of different starters, but the menu is predominantly sushi with some sashimi.
Place is stylishly decorated. The drinks choice is very good and the staff are really helpful and friendly.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zumuku Sushi, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. The food was simply delicious, with a wide variety of fresh and flavorful sushi options to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the salmon sashimi and the dragon roll, which were both expertly prepared and bursting with delicious flavors.
The staff at Zumuku Sushi were also very friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. It was very easy to book a table, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The restaurant itself had a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a friend and family meal.
Overall, I would highly recommend Zumuku Sushi to anyone looking for a delicious and enjoyable sushi dining experience. With its great food, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere, it's definitely one of the best sushi restaurants in the area.
What a gem of a restaurant. We found the food to be amazing, the staff to be lovely and friendly. It’s our new favourite restaurant in the area.
