Good pub food
Really enjoyed having lunch here. I have tried to go before but it’s always busy at the weekend. Easier in the week outside work lunchtime.
Really lovely pub with great service, great beer, great food and to top it all, it's DOG FRIENDLY!!! Fabulous!! We'll be regulars from now on! Thank you for being such lovely people 🥰
A nice enough place — that I mainly like for its wallpaper on the way up to the smoking area lol — also the beer garden tends to be pretty quiet so I appreciate that too — especially in Manchester
Excellent pub with good beer selections and decent City Centre prices.
Plenty of big screens for the Saturday sports fans and no shortage of seats and tables. A very nice place with good service.
Nice bar with nice clientele in it, sells crystal lager as well which is a bonus. Has a good enough range of beers and spirits and isn't too far from some busy happening night spots so a good day time or early evening watering hole
Always been a decent pub in the town centre but only recently called in after a good amount of time lockdown etc. Looks like they have a good few things going on throughout the month and the pub was quite busy when I visited. I have to say I was not a fan of Holts lager years ago but it's come on leaps and bounds and its now a good decent pint. Standards look high on keeping the pub clean and the bar staff were friendly overall would definitely recommend a visit.
Wonderful Joseph Holt pub a short walk from Albert Sq. Had my first Joe Holt's bitter 49 years ago and still love it. Lovely pub with a small roof terrace. Too many TV'S for Madge. Flat Eric loves the ambieance and beer. Holt famiky still run this local brewery and spend their profits on their pubs. Great value food and meal deals..Curry Thursday or Fish Friday. Sunday roast. Well worth a visit.
Good atmosphere and drinks. Visited on 2nd Thursday of the month for the Murder Mystery Inc improv show which is the best thing I've ever seen, highly recommend!
Nice pub good atmosphere, my dad was happy as they did smooth bitter which most bars we went only had pale ales. Decor is nice.
First time and won't be the last. Pint and a pub meal went down a treat. Zara waited on me and did a great job
The service was excellent. The food was very nice. I have never been in this pub before I would definitely recommend it. It is a lovely place. The Staff were very friendly.
Just stopped for lunch on a Tuesday. It was quiet, menu was small so there was not a lot of choice, but the food was fine and well priced.
Nice city centre pub with reasonable prices.
Food service a little slow but the bar staff did warn us and the quality of the all day breakfast could have been better but generally ok

A regular private quiz venue upstairs. Always brilliant food and service.
