This place just ticks all the boxes in my eyes. Great food and staff. Absolutely amazing new play area that my son loves. Come after school nearly every night for half hr/hr. Wears him out a treat. Lol! Keep up the good work guys!
Just been for lunch and I am very impressed with the amount of gluten free food available.. Not many about here but so happy to have this on my doorstep... lovely atmosphere about the place.. Will definitely be returning for the afternoon tea
Just got home from an amazing afternoon at Runway 26. I treated my mum to afternoon tea (purchased via Groupon) and it was absolutely beautiful. The food was amazing, staff very friendly and the setting was breathtaking. I took my toddler with us and the staff were very accommodating at providing little extras for her. She loved seeing the planes and helicopters coming and going and we've already said we will be back again. Thank you xxx
Myself and my family absolutely love coming to Barton and do on a weekly basis. Janet, Steven and all the staff are welcoming and friendly. Good home cooked quality food, quiz nights are great fun, Organised events by the runway staff are always a fantastic success. Would highly recommend anybody who enjoys a relaxed atmosphere and friendly chat and great food to pay them a visit!!
I took my mum for afternoon tea and the whole afternoon was wonderful, the food was delicious and atmosphere at Runway 26 was warm and friendly and the staff were super attentive and couldnt ask for anymore, cant wait to book in again, I would highly recommend it!
Lovely afternoon tea, freshly made sandwiches, great variety of cakes and pot of coffee which the staff happily refilled for us, good service and a great view of the airport
Just been for the very first time with friends for afternoon tea for four, courtesy of a gift from our son and his family. We could not fault it.
Lovely food, very friendly staff, a bar and an unobstructed view of the light aircraft landing and taking off makes this a little gem. One where we intend to revisit.
I've visited this place a few times and I love it. The service is second to none and the staff are extremely friendly. They always make you feel welcome and even managed to book me in last minute on a bank holiday weekend. Would recommend to anyone 5* everytime.
Lovely place to watch the planes. Afternoon tea was delicious and big glasses of prosecco. Also unlimited tea and coffee. Staff were friendly too. They do other food and would gladly go back again.
First time I've seen it quiet enough to sit inside, so we had a hot meal and were glad we had. Nice surroundings, well presented food and free coffee top ups...10/10.
Really nice staff, great coffee and good food. Plenty of tables and a lovely view of the airfield. Really tasty bacon roll and good menu options available.
Breakfast was good but could have been a bit hotter. Staff were very nice and friendly. Lovely to sit outside and watch the planes and copters. Highly recommended.
Me and my older sister are both vegan and the staff went out of the way to prepare this afternoon tea which was amazing. My nephew who is autistic was treated and spoken to amazingly by a young lady who had her hair tied up in a bun. We will definitely be coming back especially being able to watch the helicopters and planes take off
Relaxed, good spot for a picnic and watch planes and. Helicopters take off and land
A great visit especially on a warm day, watching the small planes and helicopters, Park for the children, food is delicious and picnic benches if you take your own picnic
Decent little cafe, sells all the normal coffee you'd expect from any other coffee shop.
Has decent views of the action, overlooking the planes and part of the runway.
If you have young children, there's a small outdoor play area suitable for children from around 2/3+.
Nice day out with the kids. Defo recommend for little kids. Cheap day out if you take your own food. 5 wristband and all rides free except for the boats and donkeys they are £3 each. Hook a duck is also £3 food/drink is sold if you prefer to eat out. Huge sandpit. Bonus is it's free parking too. Lots of helicopters to watch setting off and landing too.
Interesting place to be and really nice playing area.
