Very Nice

Visited on a Friday night, having not booked. Friendly greeting, seated immediately, service great, food exceptional and price very reasonable. Our first time but it won't be the last!

Absolutely fantastic as always. Food was excellent and the staff are so lovely. Recommend the paneer chilli, Makhan chara, peshwari nan and definitely have the vegetable rice. But honestly.. I haven't had a dish I didn't like from here and I go ALL the time!

Our favourite Indian restruarant! For two try Makhan Chicken and a Chilli Chicken. Wash down with a large bottle of Katmandu Beer. You won't want to go anywhere else. ***** and bargain prices. I am not connected with the company other than being a Happy Customer. Brian Ollier in Sunny Macclesfield.

A good solid Indian/Nepalese restaurant but I can't say that I was blown away. They have a good menu, which is good value for money. Staff were friendly although service felt a tad rushed. I would go back again

Absolutely beautiful. Everywhere is deep plum purple (my favourite colour!) smells lovely as you enter. We have come with our daughter who is lactose intolerant and they made adjustments on the spot and served everything quickly. Our daughter absolutely loved the food and so did we. My husband said the food activated taste buds he didn’t know he had 😂 I’m sat in the restaurant having finished my meal and just had to write this review before we left. Excellent all round, we will definitely come back!

We'd booked up for the 23rd Dec, it was our first time visiting. We had been looking forward to it for weeks, and it didn't disappoint! From the moment we arrived the staff were so attentive, they couldn't do enough for us. As for the food, it was outstanding. I went for the butter chicken with their renowned naan, and it was so good that we made reservations for the first week of Jan. Following that second visit, it's safe to say that this curry house has become my absolute favourite, and it'll be very hard to beat!

Came for our mum’s birthday and had a fantastic time. The services, the food and the birthday cake - everything was brilliant. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely stunning food! Waiters were great, lovely selection of wine. Really authentic Nepalese dishes, we got to try things we'd never eaten before. The waitress was really helpful advising us on dishes. Everything was so flavorsome and not at all greasy. Highly recommend! My only note was the lighting was a little bright, but the food more than made up for it

After not visiting the Third Eye for almost 10 years, due to moving out of the area, I came across an article about them winning the best curry awards! My Mum and I love a curry, so we decided on a whim to go! We didn’t have a reservation - not a problem, we’re seated right away! The food was lovely! We tried 2 different fish dishes for our starter and I had 1 of the chefs specials, my Mum had rogan josh - Was very spicy! My only ‘complaint’ and it isn’t really, but they only offer 2 reds and 2 whites (wines) by the glass, would be nice to offer more? Other than that, everything was fab and delicious!

Nestled in between the pubs and bars of Didsbury village, this understated restaurant is a firm favourite with the locals, simply because the food is ridiculously good. Family run by her husband wife and their son they’ve been in the restaurant game for many many many years having come from parents have also got a very well established Indian restaurant not far away . With a limited number of tables and a very understated ambience and lovely calm atmosphere smiley upbeat service and amazing tasty food is what keeps people coming back over and over again . I highly recommend you explain to the white staff. What kind of food do you like so they can make sure that what you receive is tailored to your preferences. We had three starters, enjoying the chicken momos King prawns Punjabi fish Mains: Seafood medley with cod, shrimp and king prawn Chilli chicken Boiled rice Plain naan, garlic naan, peshwari naan We were too full to eat anything else after this, and actually ended up taking some of our food home in takeaway boxes Would I hear again? Absolutely yes. My stomach is exceedingly happy with the amazing spices. Also treat yourself to the Poppadoms The assortment of pickles that you get absolutely amazing

I picked this restaurant for a catch up with a friend who works nearby, and boy am I glad that I did. It's quite a small restaurant, with exceptionally friendly staff. As we'd not seen each other for 9 months that took about 30 mins, and the staff left us alone, not rushing us at all. The menu is quite different. I've never before seen chicken drumsticks stuffed with minced lamb and nuts (Third Eye Tangri), nor naan stuffed with potato and cheese (Pommi Nan), or onion-stuffed flatbread (Onion Kulcha). The other starter we had was Chicken Momocha, and the mains were Makhan Chara (the Chef's specialty) and Lamb Shah Jani . I highly recommend both. I don't think I've ever had curry dishes with such tender meat. The only odd thing was the poppadums. I suspect these were shop bought, and rather small, but given they were amazing I guess that doesn't matter too much. We just ordered more. As well as the food being amazing, the price was too. Just over £60 for poppadums, two starters, two main courses, rice, two breads, and two pints of lager. I will definitely come back here.

We came to Didsbury as we do at least once a year, I found this restaurant on Google , we looked for a halal curry place near to where we stayed . I was very impressed that we we were sat down without a booking on a busy Friday night , a lovely window table . The staff are extremely pleasant, very attentive, a quick service and the food was great . I am not the person to go to a curry place and finish my meal , however I did on this occasion, our children are the most honest food judges you can find , if they like it they’ll eat it and they cleaned they plates . We will definitely be back , I’ve not taken many photos of our foods , I thought about it a little too late , but this shows that we really enjoyed our meal . Thank you for having us and we look forward to seeing you on our next trip to Manchester. Keep up the good work !

A great Saturday evening at the THIRD EYE it was my partners first time and he really enjoyed the food, hospitality and listening to the resturants heritage and origins. Staff are passionate about the dishes they provide for the community of Manchester. Thank you for a lovely evening.
