My daughter had an afternoon tea party here for her 9th birthday, she had the best time! We had the place to ourselves, we arrived early to set up but trish and co had already laid out the table and hung balloons and banners too! Was a lovely laid back afternoon tea with lots of giggles from the girls Very Friendly staff who couldnt have done anymore for us and of course fab food and drink would definitely recommend!! We had the place to ourselves to celebrate a 50th birthday with afternoon tea - it was wonderful. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious (and there was plenty of it). The decor is inviting. And who doesn’t want like drinking tea/coffee out of china tea cups . Thanks for a special and memorable evening. I would definitely recommend this place!

I booked my mum's 80th birthday (Mrs Muskett) an afternoon tea at The Tea Cup Cafe on Sunday 7th July. It was absolutely fantastic - the food was wonderful, the staff were attentive and helpful. The decor and atmosphere were perfect. My mum said that she wouldn't have changed anything. Two guests couldn't come and their teas were packed up and we took them to them. My sister and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. Julie and Amanda

Beautiful little cafe with amazing, caring staff. Altered our booking last minute to add my young son and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, even created him his own toddler size afternoon tea. Delicious food and 5 star service. Can’t wait to visit again

What a fantastic buffet Trish made for my daughters baby shower. It was not only delicious and fresh but it was so plentiful! The chocolate cake and Victoria sponge was yummy and Trish was extremely organised and delivered the buffet to the venue early. Can’t thank you enough and highly recommend Tea Cup Cafe in every respect.

I've visited twice in the last couple of weeks and I'm so impressed with everything about it! The food and ambience are amazing. The fact they also cater for ladies who are following a 'healthier lifestyle' is a plus point for me. The blueberry cheesecake I had was delicious! Will definitely be a regular visitor.

Everything from the food to the service was wonderful. My friend and I had afternoon tea here today and I have to say one of the best places to have afternoon tea. All of the cakes, scones are baked on the premises and I have to say they are divine x

Started going here once a week for breakfast. Had a tasty English breakfast with 2 pieces of toast. All beautifully cooked. Also had a cappuccino. Lovely service. Keep promising to have something else because everything sounds lovely but just love the cooked breakfast.

This cafe is my favourite cafe. It is quirky I love its cosiness and vintage style. The food is lovely and made fresh. Trish and her team are welcoming and very friendly. I have had breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea here at The Tea Cup Cafe. Along with Birthday cakes made to order. All were so good. This year I got married and asked Trish if it would be possible to hold our wedding reception here. We opted for afternoon high tea. Trish and her team decorated the room beautifully. They served warm canapés of the best sausage rolls and quiche I had ever tasted with mushroom vol au vents and cream cheese bites. Accompanied with Prosecco, sandwiches and the most amazing cakes, scones and mini trifles. Trish surprised us with a beautiful wedding cake which tasted AMAZING. I cannot thank Trish and her team enough for giving us the most perfect afternoon and making it so special for us.

First time visit to the Teacup Cafe with my daughter and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is cottage core style, simple, pretty and very cosy. We arranged to meet 2 other people and had booked for 4 people originally but they couldn't make it. When I let the owner know, she was very understanding and it wasn't an issue. We opted for something simple to eat and it arrived fresh and perfectly cooked and after a reasonable length of time. When we finished we ordered some cakes to take home with us and all in all, the price was much lower than expected. We were very happy with every aspect of our visit and will be visiting again soon. I highly recommend going. It's very small so don't forget to book first and pay in cash to support your local, small business!

Mothers Day was amazing at Tea Cup Cafe. Lovely, fresh afternoon tea and a glass of Procecco went down a treat. My 3 year old Grandaughter was treated like a little princess. No charge for a 3 year old which was a really nice touch xx

We received a warm welcome from the owners of this little gem when we visited. We were early so lots of spare tables. VERY good, reasonably priced, prepared while you wait, food served hot & on retro plates. Kippers!! Lovely. Parking is very limited here although customers were parking on the pavement outside the cafe. Pushchairs can be folded & stored in the back. There are wc's, so ask the staff who'll be happy to help. Lovely, small (very small! 5 tables) cafe with the best Full English I've had in a *long* time. Very polite and attentive staff and very reasonably priced. Nice range of food, from breakfasts on a plate, on toast, on barms, to various sandwiches, potatoes, pies, various egg dishes (Royal, Benedict etc) also some fish dishes available. Although the staff did say some dishes availablity are based on availability of ingredients and others sell out fast. Small selection of cakes and treats to take away too. And if you fancy a bottle of beer or glass of wine with your breakfast or dinner, they even have that too. Will definitely be visiting again, and soon. The pies look delicious and I can't wait to try one.

Great little place with an old fashion style. Customer service: Lovely and happy people are working there. Great service. Babies: They are having baby seats that stick to the normal chairs. Payment: Card or Cash no problem. Car park: You can park in one of the side roads next to the café.

Went for afternoon tea on Mother's day with my daughters and grandaughters. We've been a few times before and the food was as always delicious. Plenty of it and the glass of prosecco went down well. Thankyou Trish and staff for a lovely afternoon.

We went for afternoon tea to celebrate my parents Diamond wedding anniversary, for the price you pay you get quite lot of selection from quiche to sandwiches to cakes all baked on the premises and has much tea or coffee has you want and you do.not have to pay extra and if you want a glass of wine or speciality coffee it's all there.this place has sit in and takeaways and does catering. But the ladys who run this Trish, Wendy and Judy what lovely people they are they pay attention to every single detail and I would highly recommend place .
