Nice Pub, didn't try the food. Really good Beers 😎 lots of tables seats and friendly customers. Bar Staff are efficient and friendly, although the Bar Manager (or Head Barman??) needs a holiday, he does look highly strung 🤣 The Toilets have some 'interesting reading' on the walls 👍🤣
This was a superb pub and i really enjoyed going there, but as you can see it was rather quite, which was normal for a Sunday evening after a very hectic Friday and Saturday. The beer selection was very good and well kept and i would defiantly go again.
We made the right decision of chosen this place for our brunch! We wanted to order so many menu but there’s only 2 of us. Took a point out because I was expecting more from Aperol spritz. Maybe a nicer decoration like slice of fresh orange in it. Overall was great 👍🏼
Great selection of real ales, lots of character. Also good spot for free on street parking after 6pm if you’re going to the arena
Popped in here for a couple of pints when visiting Manchester recently. Wasn’t overly busy and it was nice to be able to warm up by the fire on a cold day. Drinks were reasonably priced and staff very friendly
Big fondness in my heart for this pub - tons of history to it, super friendly staff, absolutely fantastic vibes whenever we go.
What a great visit i had good old traditional pub so nice to see some still around. Great selection of beers. And served by a lovely friendly young lady Ella happy to chat made us feel very welcome, and seemed like she actually wanted to be there which is refreshing for bar staff nowadays. Definatly
Best beer place in Manchester. Always dark ales on cask. A must for visitors.
Amazing place, lovely and cosy. The staff are superb! Definitely gonna visit again
Very friendly. Excellent choice of ales lager and bottled beer. Bar staff very helpful. Comfy seats.
Fantastic little pub full of character. Wide range of German beers which I like 😁. The price was very reasonable too.
Somehow this old local has survived the massive redevelopment in this area of the Northern Quarter. It is a bit shabby and needs a sympathetic refurb but it is a haven for real ale and great cider. ( A Vimto flavoured 7.5%!) Has a friendly vibe and well worth a visit.
Great local pub with a cracking collection of beers and whiskies. Staff very helpful and cheery
Ambient,authrntic pub,friendly staff,great range of drinks🙂
A fantastic selection of hand drawn real ales, great service, great atmosphere.
A really homely, friendly pub. A bit rough around the edges, but the beer and cider choice is excellent, the bar staff are really welcoming, and I'd gladly go back. Looks like a quiz on a Monday, and I assume other things too.
