Fantastic place - me and my wife been looked after so well and had best time ever at this lovely place. The owner is doing great job and keeps service on TOP !! Food 5* lovely and well seasoned, staff nice and helpful. Will be back
Service was absolutely wonderful. The staff were very friendly, fun and professional. The food was absolutely the best, I can’t imagine anywhere better in the uk.
Anyone complaining about waiting for anything needs better friends to talk to, we were a group of about 11, so we got our own drinks from the bar. Anywhere that is that good is always going to be busy and that is a great thing to see in this economy. Thank you scene.
This food was superb...about the best Indian food I've tasted and in a lovely restaurant with good service. Really enjoyed the whole experience
Good atmosphere and good choice of food enjoyed the vegetarian sharing platter.
Delicious food , great service , lovely place . Will definitely become a regular
Amazing service, got seated very quickly even though we hadn't booked and they were really busy. We ordered starters and mains which came after 15 minutes. Couldn't fault this place we are definitely coming back
There is quite a long wait time but the experience is worth the wait. The theme of the restaurant is endearing and tries to capture an erstwhile era. The food quality is excellent and the menu is capable of evoking a nostalgic element within some. Recommended!
Just before an india pak match the scene is set. There is a massive crowd and the menu looks great we first tossed with the popodums and then the openers were the meat platter. Followed by the dal punjabi the rara ghosht and the Lucknowi Biryani. The spread was sumptuous as was the buzzing atmosphere
Well if you like Indian cuisine, this is the place!
UK's top Indian restaurant in 2017 and 2018 so this is the place for a truly authentic Indian meal. As you'd expect a good menu and both high quality and great service!
One my best experiences when it comes to Indian food.
Not just the Indoor but the Outdoor is equally beautiful (Obviously when it isn't raining)The nicely done wooden tables with a tall ceiling and fine brown tiles at the bottom makes you feel like you're at fine place. Not only is the Staff friendly but, also are the Chefs. We were lucky to have a word with the Chefs as they were on a small break. When it comes to taste and you are in the City Centre, This place would take u like 15 mins from a Cab. So if you love Indian food Make sure you bookmark this place. The sheesha is quite decent here. There have been times when it was not made so well but if you are not into Sheesha this should not bother you from visiting the place.
Service was great, the staff were friendly. The food I thought was a bit bland on taste and spice tho maybe will need to ask for more spice next time.
Very tasty, very friendly and very opulent surroundings - love how they have carved out different vibes throughout the space. Went daring and had the king prawn vindaloo which was definitely on the hot side. Instead of naan or rice I went left of field and had saag paneer which was delicious - the body needed all the veg it could get and it was a decision I would happily make again.
Scene Manchester has been open for just over six months now and it’s probably one of the few Indian places in the country (yes, country) I would recommend. You see, as I have a fabulously talented Indian cook for a mother, there are a very small number of Indian restaurants I actually enjoy. As most Indians will probably tell you – nothing ever tastes as good as home.
Scene's street food menu is all about sociable eating, so go with your friends and enjoy sampling lots of different dishes, and complaining about how full you are. The staff are fantastic, the dining room is spacious and bright, and the quality of the food was just bob on.

Made a reservation for 5. Good table (booth). Service was fast as we had an early reservation. Ordered the set menu and did not disappoint. The mixed starter was good and the selection dishes to follow was both good variety and positions.
Lovely high end Indian cuisine. The Lamb was mouthwatering and oozing with flavours.
Highly recommend the grilled meat for two, it was delicious and the masala chips was to die for.
The decor and atmosphere was fantastic and the waiters did a great job.
Overall a brilliant experience and eating fantastic food.
In addition I asked and they surprised my mrs with a lovely little Birthday desert.
We ordered cocktails and starter platters. Drinks were really yummy and the platters were huge. We didn't order any mains as the platters were more than enough. But the service was a bit slow.
Food was lovely, great menu selection and authentic dishes. The service was quick and it wasn’t overrun which is a blessing. The service is very good and we felt very welcomed and looked after. Visited for a large hen group booking. I would definitely recommend this place, thanks to all the staff for providing a lovely experience.

Amazing atmosphere with bollywood tunes. Scenery was great when seated in the flower booth. Service was outstanding, the food looked and tasted amazing especially the samosa chaat and the lamp chops lots of flavour 😋. Overall everything was just excellent. Would recommend and come again👌!
This restaurant is amazing. The food is so good, tasty and plenty to choose from. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We were given a choice of either sitting outside or inside. If you go, you should definitely try a mocktail. I had the pina colada because I was driving, and it tastes amazing. I shared the thali, and there was so much food, I had to take it home. The price is very reasonable. I will definitely go again
This place is where i'd celebrated my birthday and one of the indian resturants that are more unique, The food like the dosa were one of the most tasty foods i have ever had. The mocktails such as the strawberry daiquiri, virgin mojito mint and passionfruit were slightly costly. This place is also very clean
Beautiful place - enjoyed my first experience at Scene. Service, Quality of food and decor was 10/10. A quick prompt service also the waiters were ever so lovely and got us whatever additional things we may have required. To top it off the weather was beautiful so it was nice eating outdoor. Everything was delicious - couldn’t fault it. Thank you guys for a great service.
Went here on the 29th of October to celebrate my Dads 60th birthday, great location lovely decor friendly staff.
Food was excellent couldn’t fault any of the food which we received.
Service was allot slower then usual but I was told they were short staff due to a few being off sick.
Only let down really was they had ran out of fudge cake which was part of the set menu for 19 people including kids, but they did knock it off the bill.
Great city centre location they also do nice Shisha
Very happy with my visit here today great service from staff, the decor was great and the food even better.
Great variety of food and they cater for almost everyone. Great selection of beverages and desserts.
Not very expensive either bill for 2 was less than £50, overall I would definitely recommend if your visiting Manchester, great experience in itself I will definitely return in the future when going Manchester.

Atmosphere and interior is amazing. Service is good and the wait for food isn't long. Only came here for a quick lunch with little appetite, but it was definitely worth it! Food was nice, seasoned very well and dishes are authentic. The menu is quite pricey so if you come here make it a big evening meal/late lunch. Seating by the canal outside is lovely in this weather, shisha and tea is also served at the entrance area but there is a shisha-free zone for food. Highly recommend and will be visiting again with an empty stomach!
The food here is fantastic and tastes quite authentic, I loved the grilled dishes like the chicken tandoori and chicken tikka. A lot of very spicy stuff. They have tons of stuff on the menu all categorised into things like fish, chicken, lamb, vegetarian, and also have set menu options and sides, and give allergy information. portions are very large like most Indian restaurants, so just a main would be more than enough for most. The restaurant is really spacious with tons of seats, and a shisha bar outside. I don't do shisha but all my colleagues enjoyed it. They have some heaters outside for the cold, but I suspect this would be great in summer. Prices are moderate, all the starters are £5-7, mains are all under £20. Overall, great tasting quality Indian food and a good place for large groups and parties.
Location by the water and in amongst other restaurants is perfect, large outdoor areas front and back.
Decor and ambience is spot on.
The menu is huge and everything I ordered tasted great.
For some the food could be on the spicy side as there is a lot of fresh chilli on many dishes so just ask for less or more
Even the dessert was surprisingly good
Visited this place for dinner on my friend’s birthday. The ambience is amazing. They have amazing cocktails. We order mix meat platter which was tasty. Garlic naan can be done better. Must try is Lamb Nihari. Overall we had good time.
Visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening. The ambiance was good and the food was also good. Would definitely recommend the food. The mocatails are definitely worth a try.
Gave a 4 star as plate was dirty and needed replacing and also 1 item I ordered didn't come and got charged for it. I pointed it out to the waiter and he didn't even offer to remove the item from the bill.
Overall definitely worth the visit.
