The Hour Glass - Manchester - Photo album

Very peaceful away from the crowds of commuters downstairs. Staff were very pleasant. I ordered chicken pie with mash and peas. It was a smaller meal than expected as there was ni pastry on the pie and the top of the pie was mash instead of pastry like I expected. I got a small container of peas to
Ideal for a quick drink or bite before your journey. Good aspect overlooking the main station concourse with an airy feel. Prices reflect the location but not bad for a city centre venue. Very friendly smiley staff. This is my favoured port of call out of all the other offerings at Piccadilly railwa
Popped into Hourglass cafe for a quick drink before my train. The 2 guys serving were so friendly and helpful. Asked for soya milk for my tea. They had none in stock but when and brought some for me. Have been here a couple of times and have always been impressed with the customer service
Good to grab a quick pint/coffee or bite to eat before your train journey. But only escalators going up and the lift down is over the other side (if you have a lot of luggage)
My friend and I popped in for a quick drink before getting our train back to Sheffield this afternoon. Frank, our waiter was very friendly, approcable and makes a mean salted caramel hot chocolate! We didn't have any food but what we saw brought out looked very nice. Wouls happily revisit next time
I had a coffee here whilst having a catch up with my former boss who was visiting Manchester. I have always enjoyed visiting this charming establishment on the mezzanine floor above the station concourse. Always worth a visit.
the best of the 2 bars in piccadilly station. if you dont have a camel bladder like me you will have to pay to use the stations toilets which is a big downside. Always friendly staff and good offers on cocktails and a good choice of drinks generally
Had the best breakfast here waiting for my train, and fabulous coffee, girl serving was lovely too, she was under pressure as it was busy and she was on her own, but every one got looked after with a smile
Very convenient for business traveller wanting to do some extra work as it is right in the middle of Manchester Piccadilly. Free wifi plus good price drinks and snack . Bit noisy but normal for a station venue
Very nice place to have a drink while waiting for your train. Would really like a few more draft ale options, maybe even some traditional kegs.
Situated inside Manchester Piccadilly station. Good coffee and tea options. If you have long connection time or just want a change from regular costa or cafe Nero you can visit this place.
Good food and decent range of drinks. Excellent seating on the mezzanine floor where you can watch the trains and passengers.
