New Himalayas - Manchester - Photo album

Exceptional food and reasonably priced. The best curries around!
Small, cosy. Good food. Slower service (quite busy). Friendly, polite, amazing staff
Consistently great food. We've been going for 15 years. Lots of vegetarian options, fresh tasting, interesting specialties. Service can be slow at busy times. I don't care. Really Good value too.
Moved to the local area a year ago from Leeds. We are particular about our curry and have tried a lot of places in the surrounding area searching to find somewhere authentic. Our search ended when this place was recommended. On our first visit we requested something off the menu (my wife loves a K
Absolutely fantastic food, but be warned - if you go when it's busy, this restaurant has some of the most inept waiting staff on the planet. I was with a group of six, we all more or less ordered the same thing, their executive banquet, and two of them were wrong. I then got into an argument with t
The food is great (very filling) and friendly staff. Can't wait to visit again
This is hands-down the best takeaway I have ever had. The restaurant is also excellent, really delicious food at very reasonable prices. Gets busy but worth waiting for, take away not always available so need to pick up but always worth it!
After being let down by taste and service of other takes aways, we thought we would try here and we couldn't of been happier from the starters to the main course everything tasted fresh and delicious we couldn't fault any of it. It was delivered when stated and piping hot. Think we have found our ne
Don't be put off by the unassuming exterior of this restaurant inside is a fantastic little place that serves up some lovely food, the onion bhajis in particular were very tasty and gigantic too. The prices were more than reasonable and it has a nice relaxed atmosphere the only criticism I could of
Totally reliably great food every time. Staff are lovely and we always get looked after well, along with a delicious meal. The starters are anazing as are the lamb chops ... and the tikhey jingey is outstanding!!
Great food, fairly priced. UnIike many 'Indians', Himalaya (the clue is in the name) is actually a Nepali restaurant. Without much fanfare, and having the rather dubious location, being next to a knocking shop, and across the road from mighty mughal nawaab, the food here is fantastic. Yes, as other
Really really good food and dishes I haven't experienced anywhere else . Recommended . Been coming here for over a decade probably getting on for two. Family run and great for both meat , fish and vegetarians . A locals secret that's a secret no more.
Two of us visited on a Sunday night recently. There was a large party (who kindly gave us some of their birthday cake) and a couple of other diners. The restaurant was comfortable and cosy, with background music. Staff were helpful and friendly, but the very best thing about the Himalaya was the foo
Not a place to go for the decor, or for speedy service. But for curry outside of town, it should be on your list. On my last visit I had Tandoori chicken sizzler, well cooked and tender with a tasty curry sauce. They also do takeaway and they are on JustEat. As I write this I am wondering why I have
Can't get enough of this place. We went last night and were feeling like six-dinner Sids and had a curry craving that only Himalaya could satisfy. Went for the 'executive banquet' at £16 a head. That could sound a bit dear but it includes poppadoms, about 7 starters (a generous taste of each), a se
