This was the best coffee shop I've visited since I'm living in Manchester. Staff is very nice and accommodating, the food is really good, loved the second hand store and the general vibe of the place. I will definitely come back to this lovely place.

Independent restaurant / coffee shop with a great mood. Nick Drake playing, howling snow and wind outside, lovely warm and cosy inside. Great cappuccino.

Visit The Art of Tea often! It is where I can get my work done as well as have a good read! Everyone who works here is so lovely and if you fancy a good chat go and seek out Bob the bookshop owner! He is absolutely awesome!!! Food here is also very tasty but the best thing has to be the coffee and a cuddle with Rosko the Cockapoo puppy who often hangs out here!

Quirky, comfortable, welcoming, with friendly staff and extensive teas, coffees and food menus. LOVED the Dippy Duck Eggs! Open evenings too. Will definitely be back.

Great place for a good cuppa! I have never eaten here but the menu looks good and the smells wafting out of the kitchen are enough to make my stomach rumble!

Reasonable price considering the location, variety and cute factor!

The book store in the back in a great addition! Very quirky indeed....

Great Value, Tasty Brunch. Visited this place earlier today. Great food, tasty, simple. Nice place with a lovely feel to it. Staff were all very friendly and keen to help and advise on vegetarian options and reassure us that the food was cooked seperately. Would definitely go again!

Proof that the early bird catches the worm, we were the first people to arrive at the café and managed to get a lovely seat by the fairy lights with a view of the big window. The wonderfully friendly waiter came over and was so nice to us - he was happy to recommend a tea to me and seemed to really want to please us. Excellent service. Bailey's Cappuccino was pretty tasty and my recommended Lapshang Souchong tea was amazing - super smoky and

The Art of Tea is an independent cafe bar specialising in all sorts of loose leaf teas as well as yummy meals cooked with fresh, locally-sourced produce.New northerner and mumThe new northerner Darrenthe art of tea didsbury pew seat We sat on these gorgeous old church pews which I thought were a lovely touch, and definitely caused a bit of amusement when a random (and rather large)

Went for brunch and it's such a cute little cafe, really friendly staff. I have the special Turkish scrambled egg and it was so good! I would definitely recommend it. Really nice food and reasonably priced. I also had the art of tea blend and it was good but a bit too floral for me, but still good. They have some really good food and drink options.

Had an amazing breakfast today, the coffee was great. The space was very peaceful and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the service was fast and friendly. Can’t recommend enough. There is also the added benefit of the bookshop at the back which adds to the atmosphere.

Love this place we walked there from longsight to have a good walk with a nice destination to end at, one of my fav places a friend showed me 11 years ago we used to go with our babys, now take my husband there, lovely book shop too, cosy chilled and always great music to accompany the delisous food. We shared frech toast so good home made strawberry jam and hazel nuts with cream freche sorry id eaten some b4 taking picture as to good to not just dive in too.

Great place to stop for a cuppa, made even better by a second hand bookshop on the premises. My second visit was equally good. The coffee was great. A blend made for them specially and so was the lemon drizzle cake. Also got some very reasonably priced miniature scores from the bookshop. Definitely my first choice for a coffee and cake when in Didsbury

Plenty of exciting loose leaf teas on offer here- I went for Lapsang Souchong which was a curiously smoky drink! At the back of the café, there’s a tiny, olde worlde book shop to wander around.

Busy busy busy, which also means a long wait. However, great cafe, great food. Three of us had the veggie breakfast.

Lovely cozy cafe / old books shop. It has a nice intimate cozy vibe. Went there for breakfast and we’ve ordered french toast and eggs Benedict’s with coffees and everything was very tasty and fresh. You can get lost in the books section while you wait for your food to come and maybe find some treasures hidden in there. Unfortunately not very near where I live but would go back again on a future visit to didsbury.

Nice little place. Small kitchen so food came out in batches. Although they did inform of this b4 ordering. Food was lovely. We had Pizzas and Salads. Great Atmosphere and friendly staff.

Great selection of teas including some interesting herbal infusions plus excellent coffees. The art of Tea also does food but we have not eaten here so are unable to comment. When we first came, a few years ago the cakes were amazing but the trend to more healthy options has spoilt them and we certainly have the cake much less often. They have a range of paintings and prints by local artists arranged on the walls and they are for sale too. The atmosphere is laid back and cosy and a mixed bag of upcycled tables chairs and crockery adds to a lovely arty vibe. There is an interesting 2nd hand bookshop in the back so you can read and tea if you wish. Would reccomend and we will continue to drink here. Update 2022 June. Friendly staff and the wines and cakes are lovely too. Continues to be great 😀
