We took our friend from Australia for lunch today. We all really enjoy our food. It was delicious. The waitress was great too, lots of banter! We will be back!
Great. We arrived approx 20 mins early, however, we were seated without any fuss. The service was very good and the main course even better. I opted for the calamari "fritti" as a starter, however, I have to say it was not as crispy as I would have liked. Being a calamari fan, I was very disappointed.
The main course - as my wife noted - was magnificent and I have to agree. She opted for the Sea Bream while I had the "Veal Milanese". Devine!
It was a great evening out. If it wasn't for the calamari It would have received top marks. Pricey but for the service and the clientele (I am not being snobby here!) it was worth it.
Well done! Sort out the calamari for my next visit.
Very much liked the food here on both visits(the pumpkin ravioli was so good I had it both times). The second visit was spoilt slightly by being seated on the upper level of the restaurant where the tables were so close together that it was both uncomfortable and very difficult to talk over the noise of so many people packed in so closely together. If I return I'll definitely ask for a table on the lower level where this isn't a problem.
Fresh, hand made Ravioli with Butternut squash, amaretti biscuits, hazelnuts, sage & Jersey butter. I found this overly sweet but that’s just a matter of personal taste… it was cooked well enough.
Just had the Valentine’s Day menu and it was a good value for money, amazing food, drink was incredible and for me the highlight was the desert. Staff was very kind and prompt served us. Food came very fast and me and my partner had a great night! It was my first time here and I will definitely come back.
5 stars for the lovely staff who served us, Veronica, Giovanna and Davide who was very polite, fast and kind.

First time at this fabulous restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The food and service was tremendous. The staff are attentive and friendly too. Can't wait to return!
Had a wonderful evening here. Great atmosphere, classy environment, excellent service, wonderful food & drink.
We started with some nicely made negronis at the bar before moving to our table, where we enjoyed a spritz and a Bellini to go with our antipasti. Appreciated our brilliant waiter, Jose, who gave plenty of advice on what to order.
We decided to split one of the pasta dishes to follow our antipasti - a truffle and pecorino dish which was fantastic.
For our mains we went for the duck and orange, and the sea bream - both very good!
Desserts were lovely too, shared the excellent tiramisu and a choux bun with chocolate ice-cream. So good!
Many many wines to choose from, ranging from affordable to extravagant (we went with 'affordable' and were not dissatisfied at all with our choice).
Thanks to the team and to Jose in particular for making our visit memorable and enjoyable 👍
Food was absolutely delicious, gorgeous presentation and wonderful staff. Our waitress Veronica was an absolute delight and she was very attentive and hospitable. Would definitely come again!
It's not just the food that makes any place great, but the atmosphere created by the people. Be sure that you will be greeted with a smile from all the people who work there. A beautiful historic building complemented by a stylish interior. And, of course… the food.
It's just like it should be in an Italian restaurant. I also ate the most delicious brownie in my life that evening, without any exaggeration. That's why I don't have any photos :), so I'll only share the oysters. It's a place you should visit not just once for an occasion, but I do recommend to add this place to your list of frequently visited.

It’s April which means we are officially in the 2nd quarter of the year!!Honestly time seems to be flying.
I wanted to start off this quarter with some self care, with food being my favourite language I decide on a solo date to this beautiful restaurant- Piccolino Caffé 💗
I absolutely love the ambience and from my seat I could see a glimpse of the kitchen as well- a nice touch!
With an empty belly, I ordered quite a bit more than usual from the brunch and breakfast menu. Breakfast for 2 for 1 person as you can see in the pictures below!
My order: Scrambled eggs with a suggestion from Peppe to add in some sourdough toast which was a perfect recommendation! 10/10
Alongside my main reason for visiting: French toast!!if you follow my posts you’ll know that I’m currently on a “pastry” journey lol!
The Toast Francese comes with either the savoury or sweet topping options and I went for the streaky bacon and maple syrup. 10/10
My thoughts??BEST FRENCH TOAST I have had yet. I’ll tell you why, usually when I order this dish at restaurants.. it’s either the toast as a base is more on the sweet side which is perfect for some.
But can also be a setback for others who prefer less.. I love how at Piccolino the toast itself had the right amount of fluff-soft and light, it wasn’t eggy and the toppings complement it perfectly!
So, if you are someone who prefers less sweetness, you can decide to do away with the maple and still enjoy your meal!Kudos to the chef!!
For drinks I had still bottled water- small size, I appreciated that I was asked about the size. Alongside the Hypnoparadise also 10/10.
I love how the balanced the blend was as banana in any mix has the tendency to overpower the other ingredients!
Overall, 10/10. The customer service was amazing, shoutout to PEPPE who made it a wholesome experience!
I have been craving French toasts for a long time now and I am so glad I chose to come here to satisfy it!! I definitely recommend this 1000%.
Would recommend the fillet steak (cooked perfectly), seafood skewers and definitely the tiramisu! Good atmosphere in a beautiful building and excellent service from all staff - especially our server Jennifer who, despite it clearly being a really busy evening was so friendly and efficient! Would definitely recommend, especially in January to take advantage of 50% off (which unlike some other venues includes most of the usual menu including steaks etc)
I'm diabetic and needed a snack. The staff were very considerate. They don't serve snacks but the ambience and service were second to none. I enjoyed the best latte ever smooth and creamy whilst full of flavour.Will be returning to enjoy a meal with my family.
Stepping into Piccolino on a January Saturday lunchtime is like slipping into a warm bath. Very warming and relaxing - the copper and wood decor with beautiful lighting is delicious. It bills itself as a grand dining room and it is. There are plenty of staff on hand and they’re friendly! The menu is long-ish but they pull it off. We ate a gamberoni bruschetta to start - accompanied by two glasses of good Prosecco. Followed by calves liver and bacon (with mash). The bacon was a little tough though. The pasta dish of the day was good - Tagliatelle with truffle. Both dishes tasty and washed down with a glass of Nero D’Avelo and Pecorino. Tiramisu to finish with a single espresso. Time for a nap!
The service was a bit slow at times, but staff were very friendly. The food was a bit of a let down, the truffle pasta was edible but lacked depth of flavour. The dessert menu was limited but I would definitely reccomend the affogato. The inside of the restaurant was really cosy and it was a lovely place to pop into.
very lovely dinner here, we went for some pasta and risotto, both were the nice choices, also the service from Jeranica was excellent, will definitely visit here again
Very nice place! Ambience and service is excellent. The food is good too, but I'm a little disappointed with the eggs benedict (beneditinne), they did taste good, but it looked a little off with the sauce all over and no greens on it (as opposed to the photos outside). Not sure the sourdough bread slice is as good as the classic bread for the dish.

Brilliant place. Came for my partner's birthday. Staff were very welcoming and attentive despite it being so busy. Service was extremely fast, food delicious and very good value for money. Would definitely recommend.
Absolutely fantastic experience i enjoyed the experience of this restaurant the food met my standards i would recommend this place to all my colleagues that visit manchester the waitress taking card of our table did fantastic job really happy with the way she was taking care if our table. The duck was fantastic my compliments to the chef beautiful skin and it was falling of the bone fantastic.
Presentation was brilliant simple elegant showed key skill and class was easy to identify all the different flavoirs and textures of the food so too conclude fantastic resturant great food

Very elegant decor. Quickly served, decent menu with some interesting options.
We all went for different dishes and all portions were sufficient. Presentation was nothing to write home about but flavours certainly were there. The rich ragu pasta was super tasty! The deserts were great too! It's on the pricier side but it's worth it!
