Nice place to have lunch with my friend. The food was OK love the scallops. However the waiter might not in a good mood. Poker face and can’t be bothered to say anything to us, didn’t even ask how we want the steak to be cooked. Regret to pay the service charge but there’s one female waitress who was nice to us.

Love love the interior of this place. Nice ambience and great food. Was a little hesitant about the fish and chips after reading the reviews but hands down to the best Fish and Chips! The pulled lamb shepherds pie was good too. Strawberry Daiquiri was on point

We went for a nice lunch when we had a free day to do some shopping within the city. Service was friendly and attentive. For a chain Browns really does do service well. Drinks order was taken promptly after seating and our food order was supported by very knowledgable staff. I enjoyed surf and turf and my wife has a BLT toasted sandwich. We enjoyed it that much we ordered dessert, which was amazingly nice. Would highly recommend for quick lunch or nice dinner.

Lovely relaxed ambience, and was not too busy. We had the sirloin sunday roast.l, it was a good portion size. The meat was tender the veggies nicely cooked, but the gravy was very watery and lacked any flavour. The prawn choritzo starter dish was tasty and the teriyaki chicken. The cocktail did not really taste of any alcohol. Server was lovely. Love the decor, very old school classy, high ceilings and the pianist just added that extra touch. Overall i would come again.

This restaurant is definitely one of the best I've experienced in Manchester. You have the opportunity to order from two different menus, one of which is a value-priced combination of 2 or 3 courses from the starter, main, and dessert menus. (I'm not sure if this is available on weekends.) The staff at this restaurant are some of the most polite, professional, and friendly I have ever encountered. They go above and beyond to make sure that every guest has a positive dining experience. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with a warm smile and a friendly greeting. The atmosphere in the restaurant is luxurious and inviting. The décor is elegant and sophisticated, and the lighting is subdued and romantic. The food and drinks at this restaurant are of the highest quality. The ingredients are fresh and seasonal, and the dishes are prepared with care and attention to detail. The menu features a variety of dishes, from classic to modern, so there is something to please everyone. The restaurant also has a good selection of wines and cocktails to complement your meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or simply for a great dining experience.

Absolutely stunning and amazing place to eat, the building is magnificent and I was fascinated by how many original features had been kept. We were served by Leanne who was so friendly and professional whilst also being real and not a corporate robot. She looked after us throughout our breakfast. The food was absolutely top notch, all quality produce, free range eggs that were as orange as I had ever seen and it was a very generous serving and filled me to the top. Would definitely come here again and would like to sample the evening food. Thanks a lot.

First visit to Browns Manchester for bottomless brunch and what a treat🥂. We were served by Mary who was wonderful and kept our drinks flowing nicely, basically she would bring another one just as we finished the last, and checked with us before in case we wanted something different next time. The bloody mary, bellini's and aperol spritzes were delicious, as was the brunch which I forgot to take photos of we were so hungry. I had the eggs benedict but the lobster benedict, mushrooms and asparagus and avocado and feta all got rave reviews too. The building is fabulous inside and makes the atmosphere really special. At £36 for brunch including at least 7 drinks each (I lost count), there can't be many any places for brunch whether bottomless or not in Manchester! Highly recommended

Simple perfection. Pan-seared scallops and pancetta had a slight mishap with unevenly distributed seasoning but stunning delivery on every dish for the table of 4. The desert could use a little more attention but I am pleased with the overall quality and experience. We will be returning in a few days for afternoon tea for a separate review.

We had a delicious breakfast in Brownes. We had Eggs Benedict and a mini Fry, both fantastic! The coffee was very milky and could have been better. The building is beautiful and the women’s toilets are full of history was they were the vaults to the old bank.

The food was gorgeous and the server was polite and respectful. The atmosphere is loud but you can still talk to each other without shouting.

My visit was made by Kim's warm rapport. Her genuine customer service was a delight when functional disinterest seems to be the post pandemic norm.

Kim is the best waitress ever and I don’t say that lightly. Been going to Browns Manchester for quite a while and recommended to a lot of people. No one has been disappointed but most comment on the service they received from Kim. She seems to delight in her role and that then give everyone e a wonderful uplift to there day. Oh and the food is fantastic. Never had a complaint and lots of variety. Well done
