Excellent pub, great atmosphere and friendly staff. We went for Sunday lunch and to watch the football. The food was amazing and great value! Definitely recommend a trip or two!

Spent an afternoon here with friends watching the football, as well as eating and drinking (more than) our fair share of pizza and beer! Excellent service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended �
Miserable wet weather in Manchester today but a warm friendly welcome greeted us. The pizza recommendation was superb and the mulled wine put us in the mood for Christmas shopping. A great find and we will return.

Went here in June for tea one midweek evening.
Food was really nice and the service we received was really good. We ordered fish & chips which was lovely.
We were informed that they will be chaning the menu soon, can’t wait to return to try it out.
Went to have lunch and watch the football and had a great time! There were loads of screens up with multiple different games on so you could watch the one you wanted (and if they aren’t showing the one you want I’m sure if you ask they’ll switch the channel on one of the many screens). We ordered small plates to have a “tapas” lunch and everything was so good!!😍
Good spot to catch f1. Great crowd show up and good vibe. My complaint is - they have a single sound system. Aside from the “main screen” in the corner, all the rest were showing f1 and had table full of f1 crowd, but later they had the football sound on for the whole pub. Still would recommend.

Nice place, got to watch the requested Champions League match on the big screen. Food was good and service was friendly. Will definitely be back.

Situated opposite the food court of the Arndale shopping centre. First visit in about 5 years. Can get very busy but fine on a Wednesday lunchtime. Had a choice of Landlord or Doom Bar; no choice really..excellent Landlord. A Moorhouses beer waiting to be ready to serve. Fairly standard food menu. £12.50 fish n chips, £12.49 pie n mash. Similar price for burgers. Well worth a visit. Two upstairs rooms and a small secret roof garden.

Big delay on the food, but top man Andy sorted us out a free couple of pints for the wait. Great atmosphere, lovely bar. Good prices too.
We attended on a very busy day, the vast majority of the food was amazing. We both had a mixed Sunday roast. Turkey was great, the beef was like shoe leather but it wouldn't put me off going back.
My party of 15 had Christmas dinner yesterday afternoon. We were in the room upstairs so we had plenty of room. The food was delicious and nice and hot, the service was brilliant nothing was too much for the staff. Overall a lovely afternoon enjoyed by all with good food in nice surroundings. Great place went to watch f1 and they didn’t have it on asked if they were showing the race and they turned it straight on! Great tv screen too ! Definitely recommend lovely staff too :)
