First off, a confession: I'm not a vegan. I'm not even a vegetarian. I'm a full-on carnivore. My wife (who is a vegan) loves it because she has a full menu of choice, rather than having to pick from one or two things. I love V-Rev; vegan or not, the food is awesome. Its an easy-going, friendly kind of place (as you'd expect in the Northern Quarter) with an indie type vibe. The food is US diner style; burgers, loaded fries, hot dogs, tenders etc., with a range of beers, wines and artisan soft drinks (don't expect Pepsi or Coca-Cola to make an appearance) and, of course, everything is 100% vegan.
I will say that the "meat" doesn't really taste completely like actual meat, but that doesn't matter because what they do with it is damned tasty. You should not expect to go home hungry either, portions are generous and the meals are satisfyingly filling. To top it all off, prices are very reasonable: my wife and I had a main each, loaded fries and a side; with drinks and tip included it came in around £35. Highly recommended for vegans, veggies or carnivores looking for something different.

Wow! this place is incredible. the food is excellent - some of the best vegan food i've tried. we're talking better than Temple of Seitan good! my omni partner had a hot dog and i went with the Kevin Bacon chicken style burger - both super tasty! we also both had loaded fries which were insanely good - £2 to add as a side which were generous portions and amazing value for money! the owner should open a chain.
Most amazing vegan food I have eaten !! I am not vegan how ever my partner is so since being with him I eat mostly vegan and not always a fan but the food yesterday was spot of and such a close match to what meat would taste like !! We need one in reading !!! � it was my birthday so was in manchester but would defo come and eat there again if i was in the area !
I’ve been wanted to come here for a while and finally it happened. My family and I are all vegetarian (not vegan) and I have to say we were not disappointed. The portion sizes are more than generous, prices very reasonable and staff are very friendly. We will definitely be visiting again.

Amazing food - if you like(d) Almost Famous or Solitas then this is the perfect place for a vegan or veggie alternative. Will definitely be coming back.

Had a lovely meal, really enjoyed the Poutine, the gravy was amazing. Had the barbecute without the E burger, which was soooo good. Would definitely recommend. �
I'm not vegan in the slightest, and we came here with friends who are. The food was lovely, the staff dead nice and the whole place had a chilled vibe. I'll deffo go again.
Great food, I’m not a vegan but I go with my vegan daughter and I’ve never had a meal there that I’ve not enjoyed. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
Visited Friday night for dinner with the hubby as a treat for my birthday. We were not disappointed! So fantastic to have a menu and know you can eat anything on it! Food was fabulous - so, so tasty. Staff were really polite and lovely. We will definitely be visiting again.
Went for the first time with my son who had been there before staff were friendly and service was great we had the cheese burger with fries and macaroni cheese it was delicious 😋 if I hadn’t known it was meat free wouldn’t of known the difference x
Best vegan restaurant I've eaten in. Had the chicken and gravy, the smoked tofu sandwich and the fries with cheese - all were amazing. The staff are so nice and helpful, too - especially catering for nut allergy sufferers. Can't wait to come back :)

I ate there on Thursday evening with Vegan and Vegie family, (I am neither). The food was great and the service and ambience exemplary. Thank you for a great meal.

The simplicity of not having to ask questions about the food is a major bonus. It’s vegan so you know your alright. The food was very good as was the coffee & my sons milkshake was brilliant. The service was equally as good,our waitress was lovely. It’s gotta be nailed on for any vegan or not who hasn’t tried it yet.�����
Just had a fab bite to eat here with the kids, we all loved it! Great service and gorgeous food. Absolute proof there’s absolutely no need to eat animal products. Loved it! Will be back again and again.

Wow!!! Amazing food, service was excellent and not expensive either. I'm not vegan but my friend is and my other friend vegetarian so we thoroughly enjoyed it here not worrying if there is something they could eat. I know we all can't wait to come back and visit!
I had the tofu sourdough sandwich and my husband had one of the beef burgers. Both totally amazing. The loaded fries are out of this world good and the huge milkshakes (strawberry and cookies and cream) were outstanding. Love this place. Staff were also brilliant. We'll be back for more.
Excellent food � and service drove all the way from blackool and I'd do the drive everyday to eat here everything was excellent food & drink
Two piece chkn dinner was absolutely beautifull.

I went here with my son, who is vegan - I'm an omnivore.
I've read a few reviews about how busy this place is, so I booked online - they have the easiest to use booking system ever!
It was early evening and getting quite busy, we were greeted and shown through to a quieter section to the side. The menu has a good, varied selection of less-virtuous sounding vegan food.
Our meals were surprisingly filling and full of flavour, and the service was very good. Highly recommend the milkshakes.
Somewhere I'd return to, and have already recommended.
Wow! Food is absolutely outstanding the mac n cheese is hands down the best I've tasted in the 5 years I've been vegan. It would rival any non vegan version. The hot wings were outstanding as well. We had an absolute feast here the portions are so big, it'll be my 1st stop if I'm ever visiting Manchester again. Loved it!
I'm not vegan. I'm not fooled by 'fake' meats either. But.... This place is fantastic. The spicy chicken burger is delicious, crispy and peppery, lovely bun, great sauces, even enjoyed the pickles which I don't normally eat. The fries are nice.... But the best thing is the Special Sauce. It's amazing. They need to bottle it up and sell it. You'll want it on everything after trying it.
The wings are massive.... Seriously. And you get 5 of them. Bring an appetite with you.
Amazing vegan burgers that had us considering going back the next day before we headed home! Probably one of the best burgers I’ve had and great value too, using the lunch offers. Would highly recommend to anyone, vegan or not, in Manchester, and will definitely be going back, possibly heading back to Manchester almost solely for V Rev next time! 😅

Finally a fast food for vegan, it was an amazing experience even if you are not vegan. Amazing sandwiches, the atmosphere is unique and the costumer survive is supreme, the gay taht served us it has been very gently with our questions. A really wide menu with a lot of dishes and choices, desserts are very recommended for a complete experience. It is also highly recommended as a different experience even for the junk food.
Good burger, the loaded fries were an overkill though. Too much sauce for me to enjoy. The "chicken" burger I had was good but I'm not a big fan of meat and cheese substitutes so I probably won't be going back. The fake bacon really tasted like bacon so if you that's your thing, go for it!
Food is sooo good!! Lots of good diner style options, I spent a fortune as wanted to try little bit of a few things. Staff were really lovely too and it's a fun quirky place. It's a definite must go if you're in Manchester vegan or not!
Really enjoyed our food here this evening. Oh my god, the menu is insane. Everything we saw come out looked incredible.
We settled for two hot dogs (the pizza one and a Christmas one) and they were both amazing.
I really enjoyed the experience. One thing I would say as some feedback was that it took a good 45 - 50 mins before we got our food.
V Rev offer a very reasonable lunchtime deal where some of their burgers are £5. I got the Fillet Seymour Hoffman (a “chicken wing” burger) as well as some Maple Garlic Wings on the side. Both were delish meat-free snacks!
They often introduce new items to the menu, so return trips are highly recommended.
Staff are really helpful and nice, the vibe and setting is unique and fitting to the food , and the food is incredibly delicious even if you had no idea the place was Vegan i would still put this place against any American style burger place. Fully deserving of the five stars ! I highly recommend that mozerela sticks.
