A vibrant place to go with friends or take visitors, the food & drink we're excellent, we tried the Korean food stall which was excellent food, very tasty but we thought too expensive for the portion size, all three of us were still hungry after, the corn fritter's looked excellent but the had just sold out of them. The place is excellent for young children too as there is a children's soft play area which is great for young children. Highly recommended but there was a half hour wait for our food but we were there on a busy Saturday afternoon. A great place to go if you are going to watch a band at 'Band on the Wall' after as that venue is almost next door.

Lovely place to eat, drink and socialise, so pleased they turned a beautiful building into something so accessible for all! Food was amazing and I will definitely be coming back...10/10 👍

Beautifully styled with a buzzy atmosphere, delicious food and fine grog. A truly unique space! Granted finding somewhere to sit is annoying. To the cheap skates moaning about the price, pop over to the Arndale and have your food with people wearing tracksuits and pushing prams around.

Loved this street food market! The atmosphere here is great with many food and drink options. We went for the Thai food mainly and every dish was excellent in quality. The service was fast as well as the drinks area. This is a great place to visit in Manchester and I'm looking forward to returning here.

Wow, what a place. If you are into good food and within 100 miles of Manchester, then you need to visit Mackies! It’s essentially an old warehouse building (possibly and old station or something) housing about a dozen small street food pop-ups. It’s a smashing idea, and one that has been done before (and to excellent effect, I might add). You end up with this quirky melting pot of all different varieties of food available in one place, and all of it is absolutely amazing as the competition is so hot! If you’re not good enough, there are plenty more people waiting to take your space just around the corner. We had tacos, celeriac gratin, and jacket potato wedges, washed down with beer. Lush. If you haven’t been, go. It’s excellent, and there really is something for everyone.

Decided to visit this very popular market hall. Albrecht fancied some food. I visited Jack in the Box, the Black Jack brewery bar stall within the hall. It is in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. A large selection of their real ales. We found seats downstairs, more seating upstairs. Soon filled up early evening on a March Tuesday. Lots of food stalls to chose from. We had pizza, a lovely coleslaw and roasted new potatoes. The place is cashless so loses a point. It is not a cheap destination but gets packed.

Eating here was the highlight of our day in Manchester Northern Quarter. The atmosphere is relaxed and yet energetic here with a vibrant hubbub of people talking and eating, food being prepared and cool music playing. The central seating area on the ground floor is convivial while smaller tables upstairs are more private. The building is stunning with sunshine piling through the glass roof to make the space feel really special. There's a good variety of healthy and interesting foods here..from miso dishes to excellent pizza. Expect to pay around £15 approx for a meal..GREAT VALUE. the food is excellent. There's a water station at the back where yiu can help yourself to glasses and pre chilled water bottles from a fridge. We arrived at 2pm when it was busy but we squeezed in on one table...people come amd go all the time so just wait a bit. Take your table number, which is on a wooden spoon on your table, to your kiosk of choice and pay by card. There's a cool nook under the stairs full of rugs and books for little kids...very family orientated if your kids are relaxed and enjoy vibrant spaces. Toilets are upstairs.

There are many stalls in this morning breakfast place. Before 12pm, there were only 3 stalls opened, and other stalls were preparing. I ordered mushroom on toast from the Tender Cow stall. After payment, I just told them your table number and they would deliver. Taste wise, it was a very nice grilled mushroom. In fact, it's one of the best I have tried so far. Jusmicy and flavourful. 4 stars

One of my favourite places to go. Great food court with a great range of foods. It's bustling on weekends but you can always find a seat if you wait a bit. You order via your phone and they bring it to your table number. The tap water isn't obvious but if you ask someone they will point you in the right direction. Toilets are clean but one cubicle in the gents needs the flush button repairing.

What a fun place to have food! A wonderful selection of food, and drink, and communal tables on two levels, lots of character and fun, really good. I had the green Thai curry and it was very nice, slightly spicy, good vegetarian options too

Went for lunch on a Saturday, the selection of food is quite good; pizza, Indonesian food, pasta, Mexican and burgers. Also coffee and doughnuts are available. I had tacos, pizza and a doughnut. The food was great! Seating is an issue as at the weekend it gets busy, often you have to wait for a table or can sometimes share with other people.

Went there for food and there was a vast choice of foods and kitchens. There was a big group of us and it was very easy to find a table since all of them were clear, clean and tidy. We ordered something out of all kitchens and it was all delicious, the food was also very quick to arrive. The ramen from New Wave Ramen was absolutely delicious and very filling, the karagee chicken was also delicious and very crispy. We also had some tacos, spring rolls, steak and pizza and it was all equally as delicious. For drinks we headed to the wine bar and we drank some Portuguese vinho verde that was delicious and greatly recommended.
