Never been before and found it after checking Google for top breakfast in city centre. We were not disappointed. The food is amazing. My hubby had the lonestar breakfast and I had the double dutch. The portions are huge (coming from someone with a decent appetite) so took some home for lunch. Staff are attentive and friendly. Can't recommend this place more!!!!
Went here on Friday afternoon for the first time with my girlfriend. Hands down, the best breakfast/brunch I have ever had! Perfect start to a day out together, the Bronx Bruch was out of this world! We were served by Danny, who made the experience even better, he was very welcoming and had a bit of a joke with us once we had finished our meal. Will 100% be back as soon as we can!
Was in Manchester over weekend and had wanted to try Moose for breakfast for ages.
On Sunday morning was feeling a little tender so had pancakes with streaky bacon. 3 lovely, fluffy pancakes, served with maple syrup and butter. Couldn’t fault them.
Went back on Monday and was feeling more like myself so had smoked moose with potato hash. Again it was lovely, scrambled eggs were perfect as was smoked salmon.
Can’t wait until my next visit to Manchester, Moose is best breakfast place in city
Lovely breakfast. The hash on the green line breakfast was tasty especially the tomatoes and artichoke. For us though the highlight was the tabasco maple syrup. This is our second visit yet there are still other dishes on the menu I want to try in the future.
The food and drinks were great. It was very busy but a space for me became available within ten minutes of arriving. Staff were very kind and accommodating.
Only downside was I could finish my food, there was too much.
Fab friendly service! Incredible food, the best pancakes I’ve ever had!! A great birthday treat!

OMG OMG OMG, amazing food, huge portions! good value for money and fantastic service, do I recommend this place? Heck yea! Definitely a come back!
Ate there yesterday with a gentleman in a wheel chair although it was very busy couldn't fault the staff they were so attentive and went out of there way to sort a table out for us , the food was amazing as ever .
What a place! American diner at its best! Plenty to choose from and the food is great!
Busy place, bit tight in a wheelchair but nice place and good food what more do you need except pleasant staff sorted
Morning after the night before and a hearty breakfast required.
Moose did not disappoint. Excellent service. A real variety of food - American inspired but bettered.
We had poach eggs with smoked salmon son bagels - served with a lovely hollandaise sauce; smashed avocados on sour dough with eggs. All excellent.
The coffee was lovely here.Extensive breakfast menu! Was confused what to go for.Ended up having 2 fried eggs, hash potatoes, two bacon and two toast.Liked the fact they had gluten free bread.Thought the breakfast was definitely pricey for the amount you get.Plus point is the breakfast isn't greasy and was cooked well.Liked the fact that they offered Tabasco sauce which goes great with hash potatoes.
It is a great place for brunch, they serve large portions of food, there is a lot of variety and everything is very tasty!
Don’t order too much or else you’ll get full very quickly
Great place for breakfast or brunch, attentive staff and best buttermilk pancakes in Manchester. Oh, and the portions are mahoosive, so be prepared to roll out of this place :D
What a breakfast spot in the heart of Manchester!!
Post-wedding hangover cure to end all hangovers was found here last month in Manchester in their CONEY ISLAND: the biggest hotdog that I have ever eaten to date. 100% beef on melted cheddar covered in smoked, cooked BBQ pulled pork, slow-cooked for twelve (yes 12) hours and drizzled with Cajun ketchup!!
Honestly, if this description does not have you meat lovers headed there right now.. I don't know what will.
*Recommendation: Must visit for the meat lovers!
We've heard a lot about this place so whilst in Manchester we thought we'd try it. It gets very busy and they don't book tables we visited around 10am and waited 20 mins for a table which isn't bad. Once sat we did find it was very busy and this meant the service was a little slow, although the servers were really nice. I went for the hot chocolate which is a warm mug of milk and their own stir in chocolate stick, it was good I just wish it was a little stronger although that's my own preference. I then went for the waffles with Nutella, I found these to be a little too sweet but never the less tasted good but I do wish they were made fresh. I'd visit again to try more from the menu and would recommend anyone to visit if they haven't before.
My first tryst with Manchester city was trying out the breakfast at this cafe. Beautiful little welcoming cafe serving comfort food - That is what Moose coffee is. The staff is friendly and efficient, with ever smiling faces ready to welcome you in.
Visited them one slightly chilly afternoon and tried the Pheonix- The name they have given their peanut butter and jam french toast. 2 delicious slices of french toast, one coated with jam and the other in a delicious layer of peanut butter - You should definitely try place out for their breakfast items! The hot chocolate was a bit too milky for my liking. But overall a great place, well priced with good portion servings.
Even though everything is very delicious and too big, service was very slow! We had to take away after a half hour. Rush hours dont try to quick service but try if you are in Manchester.
Oh god, how to describe what I was put through when my manager took me to the Moose Coffee...I think after a week I'm still full with those amazing pancakes.
Huge, delicious, heart warming and full of maple syrup! Two eggs on top and that was enough for a whole morning...afternoon and maybe the evening.
Cool staff and great place to start a day!
The only reason Why they've lost 0.5 rating is because they shut shop early and there are too many options to choose from!
:(
Unbelievable taste, consistent quantity over all the 6-7 dishes we've ordered.
The pricing is perfect for the quality and quantity.
Friendly staff!
Extremely good food and beverage. Good atmosphere with nice music as well. I enjoyed so much.
Most service staff were good and courteous except one blonde hair lady with high bun was a bit direct and impatient. She served without a smile and was fast to clear away my food and brought me the bill without me asking for it, which I think it was quite rude.
Anyway, it is still a great place for a good meal.
Long waiting time before being seated. To shorten the time, make a reservation. Delicious breakfast. We had Egg Benedict and pancakes, worth the waiting time. Big portions of food.
Offers a taste of Canada with its cozy ambiance and hearty comfort food. From its welcoming atmosphere to its indulgent menu, Moose Coffee provides a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
The atmosphere here is warm and inviting, with cozy booths, vintage-inspired décor, and friendly staff members who make you feel right at home from the moment you walk through the door. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, they provide the perfect setting for a leisurely meal with friends or family.
The menu is a celebration of Canadian comfort food, with dishes that are as hearty as they are delicious. Start your day off right with one of Moose Coffee's signature breakfasts, like the Montreal Stack—a towering pile of pancakes topped with smoked bacon, maple syrup, and melted cheese—or the classic Eggs Benedict served on a bed of crispy hash browns.
For those with a savory tooth, Moose Coffee offers a tempting selection of brunch and lunch options, including the indulgent Moose Burger—a juicy beef patty topped with crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, and a fried egg—and the Montreal-style poutine, a decadent combination of fries, cheese curds, and rich gravy.
Service at Moose Coffee is friendly and attentive, with staff members who are passionate about food and eager to ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience.
We had a great breakfast at Moose Coffee today. Everything was perfect!! We didn’t even have a booking and the staff was very kind to welcome us and made the best for us (if you book before might be better as we were lucky to find a table outside). The best pancakes I’ve ever eaten in Manchester 😋
A really nice brunch spot! A great range of options on the menu and the pancakes were absolutely delicious! It can get very busy, but the service was very friendly, all the same. I would definitely come here again!
Amazing place for breakfast/brunch. First time visiting a branch in Manchester and happy to say that the quality of food, service and atmosphere matches the excellence of Liverpool branches. 10/10! Spoilt for choice.
Lovely homemade dishes and good service. Nice coffee too! Get there early for breakfast to beat the rush. We had the Mexican one and one with hash, which was nice. It was supposed to come with steak but they run out so swapped with bacon. It was fine, but less Canadian and more like an English fry up. Would definitely revisit though! The other dishes being served also looked great. Thanks.
Great food, good service and fair prices. Always enjoy coming here for a treat.
We came here for the first time and really enjoyed the food.
It was very busy when we arrived on a Saturday morning, but we were able to book a table and then go shopping while we waited.
I had the Caboose Moose (savoury cheese pancakes with fried eggs and bacon). It was really really good! Very cheesy and the pancakes were massive.
My wife had the Vegan Grande Bouche (French toast with pecans, fresh fruit & maple) which was also very good.
The woman that served us was really pleasant and efficient, and I would definitely come back here again.
The best food. Large potions. Great presentation. Great service. And the coffee is the real stuff. Not Costa or Starbucks. 😋😋
Hard to choose the hash browns or pancakes route. Went hashbrowns with a minute steak, sausages eggs, tomatoes. Salivating now remembering it. Was so good. Service quick and friendly. I said I had limited time as I had to get to a meeting and they sped it through and brought me the bill before I finished. I could eat most of the menu. Will be back. Brought me joy.
I went to Moose on my 40th birthday. I was not disappointed. The food was excellent, the service was wonderful and they even treated me to birthday pancakes which was a lovely surprise and set the day up nicely.
Could not recommend more! A really lovely spot for a drink and some food. Mainly was breakfast food, but everyone was absolutely thrilled with what we ordered. We all had the white chocolate mocha which was wonderful. The staff were super friendly and eager to help. Definitely plan on returning!
We visited on my partners 30th birthday to enjoy breakfast. My partner had French toast, bacon and a side of eggs. I had avocado and eggs on toast. The food was delicious. Service was polite and fast. The atmosphere was calm and very New York. Will definitely visit again and recommend a friend!
A rare treat nowadays. The food is lovely but filling. Pancakes, waffles, club sandwiches. Well into retirement now so only occasional visits. So glad I don't live nearby as I would be over 300 lbs. Found is American style (actually Canadian, I think) but beautifully done, well presented and big quantities. Thoroughly recommended.
Fabulous place. Good size portions. Big menu.
