Great back street boozer, excellent atmosphere and friendly staff. Also serves Boddington’s which you don’t see much these days!

Great service in this well run pub considering it fills up pretty quickly being long and narrow - feels like this place is on the up.

Great place! A variety of ciders to try. Really friendly service (Thanks Eileen)!. We loved the food especially the bruschetta, the steak & ale pie, and the yummy onion rings. Will definitely be back!

Nice pub in the centre of town, good atmosphere and central to everything. Quite busy but not overly for a Saturday evening, decent range of beers too.

Great traditional pub to call into. Friendly bar staff and a warm atmosphere. A good couple of real ales on draft also a decent selection of quick bites on the menu would definitely recommend a visit.

Oddly this pub is probably my least visited city centre pub in the last 48 years. Maybe 4 times. Back in about 1980 as a post 68 long haired scruff but pre 76 punk I walked into the New Romantics. Thought it was fancy dress. Has not changed much inside. Sold 4 real ales today. Ordinary pint of Wainw
