We were lucky enough to win a table for the evening, with cocktails and tasters of the new evening menu. It is delicious! All of it! The cocktails are so cool and tasty .... the food is amazing and served on gorgeous crockery. The whole amtosphere is fantastic, made even better by the super friendly staff. If you are in Manchester you must visit sugar junction! Oh and the coffee is pretty good too.

We were looking for a tea room we could take my dog into and this little gem in the northern quarter was the perfect place. We had afternoon tea and every single thing was perfect and the staff were lovely

Loved the visit to Sugar Junction today with my mum. The place itself is lovely, vintage teacups and teapots! The food was amazing. I had the chicken stack with fries and mum had mac 'n' cheese. We had a lovely wedge of cake to finish. Great time, definitely worth a visit. I would perhaps recommend booking. We got lucky but people were being turned away as it was so busy

I was introduced to Sugar Junction about 4 years ago, and now it's one of my favourite places to go in Manchester. Always friendly service and a great atmosphere. The cakes and cocktails aren't to die for, they worth living for!! Also going on record as the first place I ever tried bacon with blueberries and maple syrup (now my favourite breakfast combo). Keep it up, Sugar Junction :)

Have visited before but this was the first time for a full afternoon tea. We were greeted warmly and shown to our reserved table by the window. Our tea included prosecco but we were able to swap this for a choice of mocktails - both of which were delicious and refreshing. We were talked through what was included and asked if we had any dietary requirements - which were catered for. The food itself was tasty and filling. Everything was so fresh and presented nicely. We both chose breakfast tea and had about 4 cups each from the huge tea pot. Business was brisk for a very wet Tuesday lunch and the surroundings were pleasant. I will definitely visit again.

I had a wonderful birthday treat yesterday from my 2 eldest kids who gave me vouchers to finally try the Afternoon tea & cakes which i had been drooling over for months on the sugar junctions face-books pics of all the tasty stuff sugar junction produce. And i can safely say it was divine, absolutely loved it & will defo be going back for another afternoon tea treat. The cakes were amazing and the staff so lovely & polite. And i have to say that i had 1 of the best French Martini's id ever had. Thank you 😘

Been wanting to visit for ages and today was the day! Great quirky little tea room/coffee shop. Food and service were great... my only small suggestion would be 'proper clotted cream' with the scones not a UHT version. Will be visiting again soon!

This was my second visit to sugar junction. Proper quirky tea shop. Old fashioned style China cups and saucers. Warm and cosy. Lighting was what I would call Victorian feel gas lights. Love it, love It, love it. Customer service was good. Tea and cake was brought really quickly. My only criticism is I was glad there was decaffeinated tea on the menu but they didn't have any when I ordered it I had to have a decaffeinated coffee instead. I'm not overkeen on coffee but it was palatable.

I love love love sugar junction! Usually you can't get in so I was ecstatic when me and my hubby got in straight away! Food was sublime chicken and bacon sandwich and the breaded chicken burger followed by the jewel in the crown the cake platter! Simple flavours, AMAZING taste!!! Staff are so friendly and always visit when I go to Manchester x

I visited here yesterday with my daughter & we thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful, great value, afternoon tea, it took us quite a while to consume the sandwiches & cakes (we had to bring the scones home as we were full) but we never felt rushed by the staff. The staff were very attentive & polite. We will definitely be back!!!

Found Sugar Junction after being let down by another Manchester Tea Room and we couldn't have been happier. We had the full Afternoon Tea which was lovely with a nice selection of teas. The service was great and a lovely atmosphere. Couldn't fault it and would recommend it to anyone

The entire coffee shop exudes a nostalgic atmosphere with its decor, and the service provided by the staff is excellent. The quality of their food and coffee is also outstanding. Especially their scones served with pistachio sauce, it is definitely a must-try delicacy. In addition, they offer a variety of food and drink options, providing customers with more choices.

I ordered a scone and coffee. In addition to being in a stylish, British-style restaurant, I really enjoyed the atmosphere where I could enjoy English work with my 3-year-old son. I felt comfortable and stayed there for about 2 hours. The scones were very tasty. The smile of the waitress was also very nice.

Great location, atmosphere and fantastic food. We had the avocado on toast with poached eggs with smoked salmon. Sadly the customer service didn’t match the quality of the food. We were sat outside and our food was brought to the table but we were left without cutlery or condiments and had to go into the cafe and chase a member of staff to supply them. Admittedly the cafe was very busy but sadly this did detract from the overall meal somewhat.

Amazing place. Would recommend to anyone. We were lucky enough to get a table literally just before lunch crowd, and we struggled to make decision what to have. This place serves all my tastebuds😂, I saw all the amazing things coming out of the kitchen and I truly struggled in making a decision! The blond lady was so kind too, making chat and recommending things. We would most definitely come again. Good atmosphere, great food

Decided to go on a hunt for scones and found this cute little cafe. We had the option of either plain scones or with raisin and it was lovely soft and fresh! I tried the biscoff latte and it was beautiful ! Every sip tasted like biscoff (usually other places you can only taste at the start or end) we decided also take takeaway cakes for later and they were super soft even after eating them 7/8 hours later. Highly recommend

This is one of my favourite brunch spots in Manchester! The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is friendly and the food is absolutely delicious! The poached eggs on toast and the French toast are the best!

A quaint and whimsical vintage-inspired cafe nestled in the heart of Manchester's Northern Quarter. Stepping into Sugar Junction is like entering a charming time capsule, with its delightful mishmash of retro decor, antique furniture, and floral accents creating an atmosphere of nostalgic comfort. The interior exudes warmth and character, with cozy nooks adorned with lace curtains, vintage teapots, and kitschy knick-knacks that invite guests to linger and unwind. The walls are adorned with framed photographs and retro posters, adding to the cafe's unique charm. The menu offers a delightful array of homemade treats, with a focus on traditional British comfort foods and indulgent desserts. Breakfast options include classics like fluffy pancakes with maple syrup, eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce, and hearty full English breakfasts. For lunch, there is a selection of freshly made sandwiches, quiches, and salads, all served with a side of nostalgia. However, the true stars of the show are the mouthwatering cakes and pastries, lovingly baked on-site by the talented team of pastry chefs. From decadent chocolate fudge cakes to delicate lemon drizzle loaves, each sweet treat is a testament to the cafe's dedication to quality and craftsmanship. To accompany the food, they offer a delightful selection of beverages, including freshly brewed loose leaf teas, artisanal coffees, and refreshing fruit smoothies. For those seeking something a little stronger, the cafe also serves a curated list of wines, beers, and signature cocktails. Whether you're stopping by for a leisurely brunch with friends, indulging in a slice of homemade cake and a cup of tea, or simply soaking in the nostalgic ambiance, Sugar Junction offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. It's a place where every visit feels like a step back in time to a simpler, sweeter era.

Great atmosphere, overwhelming variety of exceptional food! Had the pistachio french toast- was out of this world good! A bit sweet for my taste in breakfast but the fresh fruit’s balanced it out. My friend had the creamy mushrooms on toast - recommending! Very rich ✨✨🫶
