As food experiences go I can honestly say this was the best. The venue is welcoming, the staff were exceptional, the service exemplary, and the food.... I can’t overstate how amazing the quality of each meat is and the portion size will blow you away. Whether you’re a food junky or just enjoy quality this place is a must. Fantastic place, we hadn’t booked so we had to wait for about 45mins which wasn’t a problem, but it was well worth the wait and I highly recommend this place and I’ll be certainly coming back!!!! Fantastic staff and awesome food!!! Thank You
It was even better than I expected, friendly staff and great food served in ample time on a Friday night, well done to the staff keeping this place ticking like clock work. I will most definitely be back, great food, great drinks, all reasonably priced. I'm surprised this chain isn't in every locol town by now? Time to expand!
Regular at reds, service always great no matter how busy... food is amazing...highly recommend.... but bring back jalapeno wrapped in bacon!!!
Went for a birthday meal yesterday afternoon and the food was out of this world! I will say there was a problem with the toilets as a rather disgusting lady was in there before me shall we say! but the 2 lady’s and the manager dealt with the situation brilliantly, they were eager to sort the situation and ensure we were all happy I would like to say thank you too you and I will not be sending a dry cleaning bill I think you have already done every thing you could of, lovely place, great atmosphere, AMAZING food and welcoming homely staff!!

We have been to "Reds" a few times now and will continue to do so...the staff are always brilliant, the food is spot on, the portion size is just right and the atmosphere is easy going and friendly....love this place. Never had anything to complain about yet!! Keep it up Reds!!
We had been excited in anticipation of our visit and we was not disappoint. A warm welcome was received. We wanted to try all on offer so we had the share platter. It's was amazing and we left fully satisfied. The service gr8 and we will be returning.

Our server was called gianna (I believe hope I spelt it right) blonde curls with glasses she was great polite and sorted out everything without issue we both remarked on what a good member of staff she was many thanks to her
No better place to eat than Red's food is always amazing, the aesthetic is perfect, and the staff are friendly.
We went to Red’s for the second time yesterday and both times were the perfect dining experience. Brilliant service, lovely staff and food and drink to die for. What more could you want?!

Me & my wife had our wedding reception at Red's last month. The staff were amazing! They seated our elderly guests straight away and made sure they were comfortable. They bought me and the mrs a fancy cocktail on the house! Food was incredible as always. Made our special day even more perfect.
Can’t fault the place. We wanted great food, we got great food. Simple
American style diner, that do the most amazing pulled pork sandwiches. They also do fantastic ribs and hot dogs plus various platters you can share. Recommended!
High class burgers.
Family of four meal. Great service. Friendly staff. We only had a main. I had the pit burger which was top notch. The family also had a dirty chicken burger which they destroyed. The youngest had a kids meal which was free in a deal.
This is a proper smoke house and a good experience.
They also do a tray of sauces which are all amazing with your fries to dip. We’ve been previously and always enjoyed this place.
It’s better than at least one of its nearby competitors which I’ve previously reviewed.

Visited this place a few times now. The burgers are really nice and tasty. As obvious as it might sound, there’s a true barbecue taste to the food, I know you’ll say ‘of course it will be’. But we’ve all been to places that say they serve something they clearly don’t!
The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. I know the cooking and preparation time for burgers, and barbecue food is relatively quick, but their service is still quick even when they’re very busy which has been every time I’ve visited.
Only reason why I’ve not given it 5 stars is, my partner is a vegetarian (I know, not the best place for veggies). But we ordered loaded cornbread, the description did not state it was vegetarian but there was nothing in the dish description that indicated it wasn’t vegetarian. The dish arrived with chunks of steak, which my partner nearly ate. The description should have listed such a significance item. If there’s not a V next to the dish, it doesn’t always mean there’s meat in the dish, but if there is meat in a dish and the name of the dish isn’t obvious i.e lamb burger, it should be listed.
Despite the above little mishap, we still enjoyed our visits there!
This is a well located great restaurant, in the middle of Manchester. Friendly and very helpful staff. Great decoration. I went with friends and we asked for the feast. It's quite expensive, but boy it was a lot of food... Quality meat and good presentation. And in the end they suggested we brought the leftovers home, which are enough for another meal, so in the end it didn't get that expensive after all.
5 stars I'd definitely come back and would recommend.
Pig's candy burger fries etc etc everything was actually really good. Service was exceptional! The donut burger is a sacrilege btw. Atmosphere was great. Will come back again
If a mans cave is what you're after this is the place to be! Meat and beer and in a good way. Arrived without a booking and the place was packed on a Wed evening which is a good sign. Ordered the half ribs and the bbq chicken with sweet potato fries and beans on the side. All very delicious and moist. Craft beers were very good too. Great place for a group!
What an absolute GEM!
Had such a delicious slowly pulled pork plate that came served with a buttermilk slaw - nom. With BBQ plates you can opt for either 2 humble sides, or go for one indulgent side. I opted for two - wanted to see the most of menu! Went for BBQ Greens that weren't what I was expecting but was delicious none the same (expected grilled brocolli/asparagus etc but got a sauteed cabbage side instead). Was intrigued by the sweet potato sweetcorn bread but was left wanting - was weirdly carb/starchy and then sweet.
Best part about the meal, besides the flavours and cool decor, was the service. Friendliest service I have encountered in quite some time and would be reason enough to return!
Oh hey sexy BBQ joint! We have made the pilgrimage from Scotland to Manchester on several occasions in the past year...and all in the name of good barbecue goodness. Don't think I have, or ever will, have anything quite like the donut burger. 2000 calories of filthy goodness, and worth every single guilty bite. Brisket is delish, Mac and cheese bites are delish, and the sauces
....THE SAUCES! Sweet lord. See you in January for more of the same.
Wooow. Incredible is really only the way to describe it. Great food, attentive, friendly yet not pushy service and great atmosphere and music. Shame I was dining alone as it would be a great place for a group outing including some great multi-dinner menu options. Highly recommended!!
Arrived here without booking ahead and was able to get a seat with no issue.
The staff are very attentive and helpful with suggestions and explaining the menu. It was an interesting experience watching the kitchen at work and dealing with the many orders.
My meal was great! I tried the fried pickles and was blown away by these. My burger was lovely too.
Will be back for sure.
The decor is unique, food is tasty and the prices are really reasonable. People are friendly and the portions are big. We had the lunch deal which is a main (big portion) and drink for 10 pounds. They also have a kids menu.
WOW! We aren't very easily impressed but we can not fault the food in the slightest everything was perfect and the meats were amazing! We had the mixed platter for 2 to start, then the bbq feast for two it was all HUGE! There is a great atmosphere although I didn't like the music being so loud (clearly getting old) and the staff were awesome, I would 100% recommend this place!
Great service and quality, one of the best beef burgers in Manchester! Unfortunately, the chicken burger wasn't so good, as it was really low in salt and a bit overcooked. The sauces were amazing! We'll visit it again for sure!
Great selection. Went for the pit master tray which had a selection of everything. Good beer selection brewed for them specifically or so it says on the. Menu. Quick service too, food was brought out a few moments after ordering so would be a good choice if you are in a hurry.
Arrived early as planned timing wrong but staff were very helpful in moving time. Excellent friendly service and food was fantastic. I can highly recommend the bin lid sharing platter for two. Just make sure you are hungry and not planning much for tea.
Great food, and the prices of the food are pretty good for a city centre, and for the nice quality.
The service was very slow though. Took 20 minutes before we ckuld order a drink and took another 20 minutes to find someone to ask to pay. They seemed to be understaffed.

I fell in love with this place the last time I was in Manchester. I love it so much that I went there for dinner both nights, this time I was in Manchester. Staff is knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu, which is awesome. Food and sauces were diverse and perfect.
The only reason I dinged a star is because they have all those shirts displayed in the merchandise area but never have any available for sale. I asked a staff member and he told me that they haven't had shirts available for a long time and that people often offer high dollar amounts for the shirts on display...get some damn shirts! American tourists demand it!
AMAZING."The feast" option on the menu was great, it had a bit of everything and was more than enough to stuff you silly, the price was very reasonable. The service was excellent. I couldn't finish mine and they happily provided a container to take it home with me.
From when I last posted the above prices do seem to have soared and the wet napkins that are really necessary when eating ribs and wings are no longer available. The music was too loud so I had to talk loudly to be heard by the other people at the table and I left with a headache, which is why they have lost a star on my original review.
The food was still good and boxes are still available for those tasty leftovers. Certainly still worth a visit.
We love Red's true! Never had a bad experience here in the nearly five years we've been coming. Tonight was great. I brought my dad and step mum up from London to experience the best bbq in town. It was incredibly busy but service was still high. We were told they were a little behind schedule but would do everything they could to speed things along. We got sat down about 15mins after our original bookings but we had drinks from the bar so were content. We then were served not too long after by our waiter who went above and beyond to keep us happy and even brought a milkshake on the house for us. The T bones that my parents had were fantastic and they said it was the best they had, even better than in London. Mine and my other halfs burgers were spot on. Thanks for a great night guys and well done to your Christmas Saturday team, they smashed it!
Pretty cool environment in this restaurant. There was a live band and it had a very neat feel inside. My waitress was very friendly, quick, and professional in her delivery. The burger was a heap of meat but just what I needed! I feel that the prices were reasonable as well. I'd definitely return.
Gorgeous food here, if you're a meatie it's definitely the place for you. Really rustic surroundings and great service.
Been here a few times, maybe it was just my bad luck, but the few times I did go there were some problems. The first time they had run out of brisket, which isn't the end of the world, but the second time there was a long wait even after booking a table and the table we got was right in front of the main entrance door in the middle of winter. We had to sit with our coats still on while we waited to be served and ate. Again, there were things we tried to order that had run out, no sausage for hotdogs, none of the first drink we tried to order, 3 of us ordered the ice tea (which is amazing) and the other ordered a cola, but wasn't told it would be a diet cola (maybe it says on the drinks menu that the cola is diet, but we weren't given any drinks menus). All that aside though, the food is actually very good and they were very busy that night, but I would suggest they don't bother using that table right by the main entrance in the colder months.
Reds True! I find the odd thing a bit hit or miss like the XXXL chicken wings are mainly just skin and bones to me... they're big but meat content is small.
The food is generally great though! I would recommend a visit! With a nice selection of beers to choose from!
The decor is my favourite part!! Love the back street new york film style feel it has and the confession box as toilet stands are mint!
