If you like to have fun while you eat then Tast certainly is your place! It manages to combine exceptional cooking techniques, wonderful flavours and expertly sourced Catalan produce with some of the fun and whimsy that restaurants miss these days. Our servers were friendly and professional and the whole menu was washed down with some well mixed drinks from the bar. This place is top class and should not be missed. Hopefully it won’t be too long until I’m back again.

Excellent food and lovely Cava - I highly recommend a visit...a new culinary delight for Manchester, maybe even a first Michelin star finally for the City

Exceptional. Truly something very special and not to be missed! The aromas transport you to the Catalonian coast in the sunshine as the food arrives at your table. The flavours are vibrant and exciting, which accompanied by amazing cocktails and a superb wine list makes for a very memorable experience. The knowledgable and friendly staff help to create a fantastic and relaxed atmosphere. Manchester’s diners have a real treat in store!

Came to this restaurant because of its association with Pep. A great experience overall: pleasant atmosphere and service, and the food was delicious. Loved that everything on the menu was labeled in terms of food allergens. Would definitely return!

Tast was lovely, the staff were all so nice and friendly. Sadly, not the best Tapas I have ever eaten, it was still nice, however for the cost, I’ve had much nicer. It’s 100% worth trying though.

Unbelievable food. Great service. Tasty cocktails. Top 5 restaurant in Manchester. The octopus was the best we’ve ever had. The duck in donut is a must try for something different.

Went in for a quick lunch. Service was good from the beginning till the end. Lovely atmosphere for couples. Not a big fan of the food, the chair is more like a bar stool which I personally very dislike. £56 for 2 people, we didn’t order any drinks.

Was here as part of Mancity pre-match hospitality. Decent food, easy to get to, would recommend to come early as the food will take some times to serve. Hence can go the stadium earlier and watch the player warm up 😅

Great atmosphere and service. The staff accommodated us very well. The food was excellent except for the seabass; everything else was top-notch. The drinks were great. I'm not a fan of sangria, but I really liked Tast's.

One of the best experiences during our weekend in Manchester. Real mediterranean food, with fresh ingredients and cooked in an exceptional manner. The service was efficient and kind, while the atmosphere with live Dj Music was cozy and relaxed. Absolutely recommendable!

Arrived here for lunch on a weekend. It was relatively quiet but it was good to see that they still had a lot of staff and offered good customer service. The dishes are best shared and I would recommend around 6-7 dishes between two people. The food came out as and when, but all arrived relatively quickly. While the restaurant advertises itself as traditional Catalan food, the menu suggests otherwise. Some of the dishes we ordered (like the beef brisket bao buns and the mussels with Thai flavours) certainly has some influences from other cuisines. And if I'm honest, while not terrible in any way, those two dishes above were probably their weakest dishes. Their standout dishes were their Iberian Ham Croqueta and Duck Egg - Baby Squid & Tartar Sauce. And while you can't really go wrong with Padron Peppers, they still tasted really nice. All in all, it was around £90 for two people including a couple of drinks. While a little on the pricey side for a lunch, it was expected for the amount of dishes we ordered.

We were a couple who visited on a Saturday evening and were shown to the dining room upstairs. This has a contemporary minimalist feel. The wait staff were friendly and competent. The dual lengua providing a lovely nudge of authenticity. The food was just fabulous. We particularly enjoyed the tortilla with its slightly runny centre. We also loved the theatre of the duck egg and squid and the mixing of yolk and protein provide a delightful umami quality to the dish. The menu was short and each of the six dishes we chose from it we shared. We were positive on each and every one. Dietaries catered for with ease. Six dishes, two glasses of wine, a pint of beer and tip GBP 110. We thought it was great value for money given the quality of the offering. We recommend and will visit again.

There's both downstairs and upstairs table both with great views, inside is spacious and beautifully decorated with many and various option of foods and drinks, the toilet is upstairs it very clean and pretty and there's also some private room suitable for business dinner.

Amazing menu and a great relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and explained everything if we were ever confused, they also helped us make sure we got the most out of each dish. As each dish came out we received an explanation of each which was great. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to try something a little bit different and experience the flavours of Catalonia!
