Having been to a concert, decided the next morning to look for a good breakfast and found Pot Kettle Black. Delicious food, a good selection of teas and excellent well-mannered staff. What more does one need the morning after?
Stunned by this coffee just off St Ann's Square and the quality of the food we had. Great service, relatively fast, great music and environment and the space was decorated with great taste. The cappuccino was great and the porridge was among the best ones I have ever had. Will definitely return whenever I stay over around Manchester.
This is my favourite cup of coffee. I don't often venture into Manchester anymore but when I do this is how I start my day. Coffee and breakfast here are brilliant and the staff are very friendly!
The surrounding architecture is also brilliant. I would thoroughly recommend this place. Best coffee in Manchester and I drink a lot of coffee.
Lovely atmosphere tucked away in the Arcades, a good spot for breakfast run by lovely people. Wasn’t overly impressed by the Turkish Eggs, could have maybe had more spice to it or added flavour through complimentary chorizo so give it a bit more substance. I can’t fault the bakery though one bit as took away a croissant and it was lovely, buttery and flakey!

Popular and busy place for your breakfast/brunch. It was Saturday morning when I visited and it was buzzing. So I sat outside in the arcade which was comfortable but a bit too cool to take the coats off. Still, the breakfast and coffee soon warmed me up.
Well cooked, tasty and delicious - perfect breakfast. Portion size means you may be able skip lunch.

A city centre coffee haven in a lovely arcade, with an excellent breakfast and brunch menu. The food was great and the coffee excellent too. Ideal for a brief over-laptop business meeting, which is why I was there, or for doing a little work in a different environment. Service was friendly and made me, as a customer, feel important and welcomed. Accessibility, including bathroom facilities is good.
Great location inside the vintage arcade which has been recently renovated. Good spot for a coffee or light meal, but be warned, busy with locals and tourists at lunchtime or weekends
First visit here and really impressed. I've heard great things but when I sat down for breakfast I realised nothing on the menu was doing it for me, not because it isn't a great menu but because my taste buds are a mess atm due to medication. I asked if a variation on something was possible and even though it was busy the staff kindly agreed to accommodate. Food was perfect. I will say the atmosphere is a little loud (music, chat) if like me you prefer something less overwhelming but i think others would love it if that's your thing. If not, bring my loop earplugs!
Perfect fancy breakfast to start a relaxing day off work. Delicious beans!! Amazing bread, great atmosphere, comforting blankets and lamp hearers sitting in the arcade, and attentive service. No complaints at all.
Excellent brunch in a modern cafe style setting. The food was really nice. We did have to wait for a while (over 20 mins) and then re ask for our coffee before getting it but the staff were very apologetic. Service was a little slow but not terrible.

Lovely chatty staff. Enjoyed my meal. Unlimited bread for the Shakshuka and Turkish egg dishes which was a great option!
Just be aware that the baked beans are not you’re standard Heinz tasting type. I’d call them ‘posh’ beans. I liked them, my cousin did not.
Went on a Monday morning so not many people there. Definitely recommend making a reservation if it’s on the weekend.
Great menu, I like that there’s mixed seating inside & also ‘outside’ within the arcade with heaters. I’m an ovo-vegan and they were happy for me to swap the scrambled tofu in the vegan breakfast for eggs which I really appreciated. My top spot for meeting friends for brunch

Went here for lunch and was so happy with the variety on the menu! I had the pulled beef focaccia which had great flavours and was a generous portion. Staff were friendly and attentive 10/10 customer service. Beautiful place to stop for a hot or cold drink (best smoothies I’ve had in town).
Really nice brunch. Nice and relaxed with great service. My wife also got a little surprise as it was her birthday. Be warned if you have the Turkish eggs and are on a date.....garlicky but lovely.
