Went on Saturday night, we had a fabulous meal the scotch eggs are to die for and the pork schnitzel was authentic and to top it of the server was outstanding a real asset I think she was called Reeha sorry for the spelling. Great food and service.
Excellent food and service. A very relaxed atmosphere, with attentive staff and flavoursome, innovative food. Provides good value which is an added advantage. Recommended!
Wow Hanging Kebabs
been here tonight for a quiet meal with girlfriend after seeing a picture of the hanging kebabs on the we love manchester website
it did not disappoint, very attentive police serve, amazing cocktails together with great beer menu
but the best part was the amazing hanging kebabs, i went for the lamb kofta and my girlfriend had the belly pork
love every last bite and really enjoyed our visit thankyou to all staff foh and chefs

Lovely restaurant, great décor and nice atmosphere. A group of us went there for lunch and the food was great. Everyone in the group was more than happy with what they'd ordered. The staff were friendly and our waiter Matt was particularly helpful.
I visited after checking out their website, was sat down and asked if i wanted a drink of, which arrived in a jug with ice. I ordered the steak with ordinary fries. It arrived but found the chief hadn’t done as requested, i had asked for my steak to be butterflied but it wasn’t so was sent back and came back as requested, was lovely, but feel the ordinary chips are over seasoned.
Emily, came over and chatted and made sure i was enjoying my steak, after chatting awhile Emily left to continue her duties.
I was glad the restaurant serves Pepsi Max, though slightly expensive. After my steak Charley popped back and enquired about a desert, she was sad that i could not find something i wanted, even though she did suggest some excellent ideas and i think some of her favourites {keep the excellent service up Charley}
So can say, it was worth the money for the meal and as it says at the top of my title Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.
I will be back again.
I booked an early 5pm table as we were attending a concert in the area. I was surprised how quiet it was compared to the Leeds one which is always buzzing. We decided to go for the early bloom menu. Two courses for £13.50 or 3 for £15.50. The menu isn’t vast but has a few decent choices. We both chose the mini sausages to start. They were ok but could have done with a bit more cooking. For main I had the chicken salad and my friend the haloumi and falafel kebab. Both were nice and the chips spot on. We shared a bottle of prosecco, average price £28 a bottle. The service was excellent and I can highly recommend the cocktail menu. Also a nice place to just come for drinks if you’re not eating.

I love the way they serve all the dishes in a unique way and they look and taste so delicious.
I tried the falafels and sweet potato lentil pie it was out of the world, I am not a sweet potato fan but this dish made me eat it and I loved it.
They have so many varieties to choose from I have the brownie kebabs which had strawberry,vanilla Ice cream and you should try this dish.

Really nice bar come restaurant and not what I expected at all. Even though they were really busy on Saturday afternoon the service was pretty damn good. Deli boards are just the ticket with lots of small picks to choose from. Scotch eggs and piccalilli are a must. Cocktails weren't to shabby either ;)
We really enjoyed our first trip to The Botanist. It does feel very much like an Oast House experience, only it isn't as crowded, or as hot.
Gorgeous bar, Estrella very nice. Do food but didn't try it, in fact we were the only people in on a Monday afternoon.
I had my 50th birthday celebrations here last Friday. The staff was amazing & very welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, as were all the cocktails.
There was a long delay between starter & mains, but we didn’t mind as it gave us all time to mingle & digest the starter. I didn’t have a desert but they looked amazing & everyone commented on how delicious they were. I will definitely come back here again. Great value for money
Food was delicious! Service was great. Only thing I would say is we were celebrating a 21st birthday and there was no mention of this on our arrival! Would have been nice for it to be noticed :)
First time today, the food was amazing!!! Loved the option for a two/three course meal at around £23.
The Sunday roast was one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was seasoned!! And tasted so good and the portion size was perfect.
The cookie desert was so tasty! Again the flavours were amazing. Defo coming back again.
Went on a weekday evening and it was very quiet, had fast service and very tasty food. We went for a sharing kebab, only downside was there wasn’t much food for two people. There was only one pita and for two hungry individuals didn’t fill us up much. Regardless had a wonderful time.
we called in just after new year, absolutely beautiful inside & staff are friendly and very helpful, the live singer was superb.
Food was delicious the only thing was my daughter got the chicken and chorizo hanging kebab, myself and my husband got the sharer my daughters portion was bigger than the sharer so my husband sat moaning (as men do) overall everything was wonderful but I think the sharer portion should be bigger, its not worth the price he would have eaten that himself 🫣😂
The children's menu has plenty to choose from with some healthy choices which was good to see the burgers were brilliant sizes & they enjoyed their desert after huffing and puffing as the banana split had sold out but they were very happy!
Hanging kebabs were lovely although a small side salad or garnish would have been nice. Plenty of fries and plenty of sauce to go with. The pitta should be soft but we had one that snapped easily - this was refunded. These should be included in the price of the kebab as standard. Cocktails were very average.
Nice place to have a lunch. The staff are nice and the food is good tasted. The only problem was about the plate that I had to eat the fish and chips. Anyways, I really recommend it!

Came here for a chat with friends over drinks so my review is somewhat limited. Really like the space and the decor. Front is mainly catering to drinkers and there's also an outdoor area (right on Deansgate). The back is more dining and has a slightly different decor. Either way, really cosy and nice. Super chilled and casual when I was there in the late afternoon. Would love to come back and see what the food is like!
