Bock Biere Cafe - Manchester - Photo album

An fabulous restaurant tucked away in the heart of Manchester. A great place to meet your friends, share traditional cheese fondue or a modern take on it with a vegan option also available. The service staff were friendly and very accommodating. The decor is a funky mix of rustic meets industrial.
We had an outstanding meal here. The Sunday Fondue Roast is absolutely delicious. With an excellent range of beers, and a fabulously decorated bar (very much in the style of a European beer bar) - this was a terrific experience on the whole.
A great atmosphere accompanied with great food. A good selection of beers and wine and the food was lovely. Walked away feeling full and the price is amazing for what you get. Would definitely go back and try the different fondues. They update the menus regularly as well so you will always get somet
Fondue and Belgian beer. What's not to like!?! Got the classic fondue with steak and wurst for £22 for 2 people and also tried the bitterballen. My partner got a flight of beers, 3x 1/3 pint of on tap Belgian beers, which gives you a chance to sample 3 different ones. And they're very different to t
Restaurant was quite small and seems to have a bit too many tables for the small space. Interior was rustic and feels like an old style mill/pub. We had the christmas gravy fondue which was basically your christmas dinner dipped in a pot of gravy. Everything was quite nice, definitely enough food fo
Had a great time in Bock Bière, Food was superb (we had the Sunday Roast Beef Fondue) and a great selection of beers available. We walked in but would recommend booking as they seemed to be a book ahead place. Will definitely visit again.
Great venue, lovely staff, it's almost like being transported to Bruges. The steak would've liked a tiny crack of rock salt, but I'm not rating it down because of that. Easily 5 stars.
Had Sunday lunch there yesterday with my wife. Being used to a traditional sunday roast piled on a plate, with big yorkshire puddings ... when the platter was served with all the food on and a fondue pot full of gravy.. loved it! Will be bringing family next time they in Manchester, a different
If you love Belgian beers and food this is the place for you. The cheese fondue itself worth the travel: the portion is HUGE and the steak to dip in the cheese is cooked to perfection. A fondue is around £22 but you can easily share it between 2-3 people and you won't leave the place feeling hungry.
We went to try the roast dinner fondue and it was amazingly good! They also have other good options in the menu plus a big selection of beers. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. Definitely recommend this place.
Excellent place to visit. Wide range of beers and a nice food selection. Table service by friendly staff in a nice, tastefully decorated setting. Seating upstairs and downstairs. Probably the best selection of Belgian beer in Manchester.
Wow.. amazing food and great relaxing attentive from the team at Bock Bière ...I work as hospitality manager so very demanding when I go out.. . These guys deliver on every level.. our young lady server even took the time to wet our appetite for the 2020 dessert menu... we will be back
Lovely atmosphere and great staff. We started with the cheese fondue with cheese & gravy fries, which were all amazingly tasty. We, naturally, complemented this with the chocolate fondue, which was equally as delicious 💯
A fantastic array of specialist beers, incredible (vegan!) food, and lovely service and decor. One of my favourite places in Manchester!
Loved this! Great food, Amazing Bockstar Martinis and service was friendly. Atmosphere chilled, only missed out on the 5th star as our table was wobbling all over the place and a little too high for the bench seat I was sat on, made it awkward to fondue!!!
Great big portions with amazing flavours menu us small but great. Cozy atmospheres and well priced
A hidden gem in the centre of Manchester. Some wonderful items on the menu - the Bitterballen are something very special. The beer battered fish was beautiful and their homemade chips were a hit with all of us. Beer selection is large and high quality too.
