Early bird menu was fairly priced.
Service was prompt and polite with the resurant being quite busy.
Starter, main and desert all delicious.
Can fault it based on my experience.
Recommended if you happen to be in that neck of the woods
1st time we had been here recomended from the coupe we were out with, we hadnt booked but they had tables free,
waitress was spot on didnt get her name blonde lady with short hair,
food was very nice and service was great,
will be back again
OK I have reviewed before but having to visit the Christie Hospital just up the road every 3 months we cannot help but call in for a meal.
The staff are always very polite and welcoming. The food is delicious and so many visits mean we can try everything.
You will not be disappointed by any means.
Cannot wait for our next hospital appointment.
Went for a quick lunch during the week and took advantage of the pizza and a Peroni deal that was on. All the waiting staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Service was attentive and the food came in good time too! The selection of pizzas on the menu is amazing - lots of traditional and also more unusual pizzas that use local ingredients. Everything I've ever eaten from Croma has been delicious and it hands down beats the pizza chains in the city centre!
They have the most taste bud friendly Italian food in Manchester. On my 3 visits here I have been greeted with fantastic and friendly staff and some mouthwatering food. Everything about this place is good. Do try their Pizzas. One thing that puts me off is high noise levels. But that is just me. Come here for a date and you will be winning.
Good value nice venue. We have been in there with a big group of people our food was good enough. i enjoyed the ambiance, it is airy. Not much to say about food though i have eaten better pizza.
Great Graduation Celebration. Helen and i took Sian here last night to celebrate her recent graduation (BA Hons. and all that). It was terrific, great atmosphere, super cocktails, good staff and lovely food. Excellent value as well for such a buzzing city centre location, give it a go, you don't book but we only waited 20 minutes at 8.00pm on a Saturday night even though the place was heaving.
Pizzza and more. OK ,nothing spectacular, but yes a sort of Deffo.
No pre booking required. This is a favourite restaurant of ours. Great for a quick pizza and a glass of wine after shopping or before going to the MEN for a concert. I often have the salad with hot fish and new potatoes, sounds weird but delicious and a cosmopolitan! The pizzas are always great , same standard every time we go and the staff are always friendly . What I mostly like about it here is that you can just as easy go dressed up or casual , with young children or elderly parents and feel comfortable, and pre booking isnt required , a big plus when you want a meal on spec! Have tried Piccolinos opposite which has a more extensive menu but the staff are not as friendly and the noise level means being heard in a conversation is almost impossible. Have been coming to Croma for years and would recommend to anyone who likes to eat in a light, airy, glamorous relaxed environment with no pretensions!
Croma has brilliant atmosphere and great food, especially the pizza and the staff are all very friendly and can't do enough for you.
Very nice. Went in for lunch, wasnt expensive and had a nice mealwould definately recommend, lovely inside too!
Delicious food, pizza was superb. A little pricey for a poor student but it was still worth every penny.
Great Pizza. Great place to eat with best pizza ive ever eaten
Real Italian Pizza...in Manchester!. I went to Croma largely on the advice of the reviews in Urban spoon and...I was NOT diasppointed! The room was very pleasant; decorated in a modern style, with very clean lines. Even though the restaurant is quite large, with three (I think only three) levels, it doesn't feel as large as it is, and instead feels like a quaint but modern bistro.
I was seated immediately and, thereafter, the service was excellent. Even though my original server finished her shift and was replaced by someone else, there was no decrease in the level of service.
The menu is not extensive, with mainly salads and pizzas on the offering and only a few pasta dishes. However, the pizza is EXCELLENT! It is the kind of thin crust, wood oven cooked pizza that one expects in Italy but so rarely finds in the UK. I don't know if they actually have a wood oven, but it sure tastes like they do! I had the parma pizza. The dough was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of chewy vs crisp. There was just enough tomato sauce to taste it, without it being overwhelming and too "saucy". The prosciutto and parmesan were high quality, the arugula (rocket) was fresh, and there was just the right amount of olive oil drizzled on top to bring it all together. All in all, a fabulous pizza.
For dessert, I had the "sticky toffee pudding" which I thoroughly enjoyed. To be fair, this was my first ever "sticky toffee pudding" so I have absolutely no reference from which to judge it. However, I did really like it!
On top of all this...the wonderful ambience, the good service, the excellent food...the price was incredibly good! I have found that things are generally quite expensive in the UK, but this is incredible value for what you get. I had a starter, a pizza, a dessert and three glasses of (quite good) wine for all of 25 pounds. Not too bad at all!
Good all rounder. Great place. The staff are very welcoming and relaxed. The menu is great value, mains from £5-6. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, food, wine etc. all good and well worth the money. Only slight criticism is the tiramisu contained more cream than we could deal with. Apparently closes at 11 on Friday, but they were happy with us there chatting and drinking coffee until late. Will be back soon!
Great place with good ambience
This really is a fantastic restaurant. We visit every time we go shopping in manchester. Value for money definately, u wil not be dissapointed
Teamed with great service, the meal at Croma was a thumbs up all round. The only complaint we had was that all three of us agreed we could have eaten the whole meal again straight away after... it wasn't that the portions were very small, in fact they were fairly standard, but I think that firstly we were all pretty hungry as it had been a busy day for all of us respectively, but also as the food was so yummy, you just wanted to keep on eating it and eating it. Seeing as it is so cheap maybe next time I will order two lasagnes like the greedy pig that I am.
Pizzas are scrumptious with an interesting variety of toppings. Today I tried the chicken tandori salad, which I was pleased with - it had a generous amount of tasty chicken and the satisfying dough balls served on the side. Nice selection of wine and specials too.

The pasta was lovely and really quite tasty, albeit nothing outrageously unique about it. It was very enjoyable and delicious for a creamy pasta dish. Both Helen and Jacqui thoroughly enjoyed their pizzas, which do have a distinct uniqueness to them in that they are so much more than just pepperoni and mushroom and perfectly sized for one.
Croma is excellent! I think their prices are reasonable, and the food is wonderful too! Fresh and had a fair sized menu.
We also ordered a bottle of wine, which was also reasonably priced at around £25 per bottle.
We ordered the dough balls because I do quite love bread, they are freshly baked and have a nice hint of garlic and oil.
All dishes came out hot, the pizzas have a thin crust but nicely toasted crust, and evenly topped.
The tiramisu was nice as well, overall very great dining experience and great service too.
Great selection of pizzas, starters and red wines. I would recommend the Chorizo & Black Pudding
Bruschetta starter, may not look pretty but tasted delicious. We we're a large group and they catered for us in our own area across a few tables.
Amazing food, great service, awesome menu for dietary requirements.
Good atmosphere and great tasting food at a very reasonable price. Would happily recommend to anyone and will return.
A great find in Manchester. The pizza is lovely, especially the tandoori chicken. It's has all the flavours of a chicken kebab but on a pizza base. The early bird offer is very good and staff are friendly. Well worth a visit
Excellent service and pleasant staff, food very tasty. Cheese topping on the pizza somewhat thin. Very disappointing.
Amazing Italian restaurant
I like this orders and I think it’s better than pizzaexpress
White linen, stylish, tasty food and friendly service at a reasonable price. Good value for a business lunch or treat out. We keep going back.
Amazing food and great service, a pleasant place for lunch with friends
Second time been to Croma and another amazing experience. Good atmosphere and fantastic pizza. Definitely worth recommending.
Absolutely amazing pizza. Great atmosphere. Nice decor. Great place for a classy meal.

Went for a Christmas meal. Good food, reasonable price 👌
Lovely place. Very delicious pizzas. Kind staff. Affordable price for a student.
Was visiting Manchester and came across this restaurant, they fit us in despite us not booking as we didn't know we would be eating out. The dough balls were absolutely amazing, best garlic butter I've tasted. I had the americana pizza for mains, it was so tasty. The desserts were all incredible.
The waiting staff were very friendly despite us adding to an already busy night.
I would 100% recommend this place!!
Awesome pizza, reasonable price, friendly staff.
