Came on Sunday quite late as a last minute meal, as always great service & great dough petals which I'm obsessed with �. Had Manuel as our server great customer service from the minute he came over to our table very friendly & helpful even whilst dealing with a large table, checked our food was ok throughout the courses, very good service throughout & the food as always was spot on �
Well what can i say.... But thank you. 1st visit last night.staff at its best. Food at its best. Love the build. Already recommend to my friend who has booked for May already. A must to return.... Happy days x
Excellent choice when using a Man Con voucher great atmosphere for a Wed evening didn’t have a reservation but was accommodated by very helpful ladies on reception. Food and service was excellent especially the Vanilla flavoured Risotto rice pudding with Cherries superb! Love the waiter with the best groomed beard and moustache in Manchester!
Came tonight after booking a table online (worth booking online as offers on there - we got 40% off). The restaurant is lovely, the staff are all very helpful and polite, the food was gorgeous and we’ll definitely be returning. Cocktails were amazing and at buy one get one free was even better!
I came with my mum before going to watch La Traviata at the Opera House. What a wonderful start to a fantastic evening. We both loved our food. I had the smoked salmon tagliatelle, mmm delicious, I was not disappointed. The service was excellent from all the staff who were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was great for a pre theatre meal and I will definitely dine here again. Looking forward to tasting other dishes on the menu. The only criticism I have, and this is really a personal preference, is there needs to be more booze in the Tiramasu. Nevertheless thank you. �
Great chilled afternoon with friends. Excellent food, Bellini, wine, price, ambiance, staff, setting - not rushed to order or leave afterwards. Highly recommend will defiantly go again 🥂
I went to Gusto for an anniversary and found it an amazing experience. Booking was easy and fast, staff all friendly and we were seated immediately. Venue is beautiful and food was not only lovely but large portions! Overall a great restaurant and a lovely waitor (Elena) which made the evening a memorable one.

Came here for lunch on the January sale, we loved it, food and service was great.. such a great vibe. I came when it opened and didn’t like it as it was quiet and put on a table I personally didn’t like. Such as life... I Will be back when it’s full price as it’s a gem. The building is stunning and laid out perfectly. I’ve been to gusto Didsbury many times and loved it.. it didn’t seem as a chain here considering they have other bars are in market towns. Couldn’t fault it even with a full restaurant. Lots of suits at lunch but don’t be put off as they are lots of shoppers in as well.

Had a meal for five people.Everybody enjoyed the ambiance,quality of service and well done chefs for providing dishes of the highest quality.The Frito Misty was superb.
Decor is classy Nice atmosphere with the usual safe Gusto Italian fare. Good for groups and get togethers. Good booths and the bar area is decent.
Really enjoyed dinner here, its an old building with a very nice dining room. Menu is pretty extensive but the food is good and fair value. Service was very good. We tried the Rigatoni with Smoked Salmon and Risotto and both dishes we excellent
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gusto Italian and must say that it was a delightful experience. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional - attentive and friendly without being intrusive. As for the food, I ordered the 3 meat lasagna and a brownie dessert, and they both exceeded my expectations. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the lasagna was perfectly cooked with a mouth-watering blend of savory meats. The only minor critique I have is that the portions were on the smaller side, but this was more than made up for by the quality of the food and service. Overall, I highly recommend Gusto Italian for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
I had a prawn starter which was great loved it however,my friend's pizza was too spicy ... I like spicy but this one was too spicy 🔥
We had a cocktail and Italian wine... Wine was good and cocktail was too strong for a cocktail.
I liked their drink menu that all wines were Italian and got touch of Italy.
We weren't over pleased with staff ... Wasn't like a posh restaurant and that attentive...
Decoration was fairly alright. Like an old Italian style I found tables too close to each other.
Let's say 4 stars would be fair base on the fact this is not a cheap restaurant it didn't reach my expectations .
I recommend Gusto restaurant for anyone who likes Italian food. I’ve had a delicious portion of seafood risotto, fresh crispy Calamari and pizza. We enjoyed it😻 very friendly and helpful staff specially Nick.

I booked a table through Gusto Italian's website for my partner's birthday. It had a good selection of vegetarian options, and the food was delicious! The staff were friendly, service was fast, and the atmosphere was nice. The only negative there was a bit of a wait standing queuing at the door as nobody was on the front desk, and the staff must've forgot it was my partner's birthday as there was no surprise / candle with her desert (however there was 2+ other birthday celebrations that night so I think the staff might've just been rather busy)...
Good service, really nice and pretty interior. Would say their sharing platter for 2 is great for Sunday roast. The ragu shepherds pie and sirloin cut was great but the crackling was too hard and chewy and chicken was too dry. Carrots were also too hard but subjective so will give benefit of the doubt. Overall a pleasant experience and would go again.
My friend and I came here to benefit from a January offer.
I got mackerel to start, followed by a duck main. Both were sensational: the vegetables and sauces paired with the ‘main’ element were spot on.
The server was visually perturbed when we asked for the service charge to be removed…but it was that high, any saving made would have been negated since the tip was added BEFORE the discount had been applied.
We chose this restaurant for it's meat free and vegan options, and it did not disappoint. The food was very tasty, good sized portions, and a great example of how plant based cooking can be creative. Ideal for parties with mixed menu needs, the atmosphere was lively without being too noisy to spoil the intimacy. Service was excellent, will eat there again.
My birthday meal (a lovely surprise venue booked by my son) was held here, a place I had not visited before. We all love Italian food (there were four on our party), and all our meals, from the starters through to the desserts, were fantastic - with generous portions sizes to ensure we left nicely full 😊.
Great friendly and prompt service by all wait staff, and a really nice treat at the end of my meal with a birthday dessert plate and candle - it's these kind of gestures that make an evening more special!

I booked a work’s Christmas party for 11 people for Sat 16/12/23. From the start of everything I had impeccable service from Jenny. Nothing was too much trouble and contact with myself was always maintained.
Due to various issues, 2 people from the party dropped out last minute but that was no problem at all for Jenny.
As for the evening itself, we genuinely felt like royalty the way we were treated by not just Jenny, but out incredible waitress, Aoife (think that’s her name but she’s in the attached picture!) She was the most attentive and polite waitress I’ve had serve me in a long long time, a true asset to Gusto. Thank you!
The food itself was exceptional. Perfect timing between courses and despite us having to pre-order with it being a group of over 7, nothing was wrong which is a refreshing change when you have big tables!
All in all, it was a fantastic evening made by amazing food and the best staff around. Thank you so much and see you in January and Christmas next year!

Following the amazing Christmas do, myself and partner attended on Sat 20/01 for dinner.
It was so lovely to be recognised by front of house from Christmas! The staff were as awesome as always, especially our waitress BETH.
Service and food were exceptional and it was my partners first time here. He also loved it!
