Last night we sampled the tasting menu with the wine flight
What a treat the food was superb the wines were a perfect match and we received perfect service not to attentive but knowledgeable of each course and wine
Chef even took time to inform us of some of his dishes
Great night
Still the best for us when we visit Manchester
After all those years, I finally had a chance to try their food. I went in on a Saturday afternoon and decided to try their lunch course.
The lobster risotto starter was absolutely delicious, and I don't say it lightly. Their signature chicken main was also good and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
They were so good that I decided to have a dessert. The peach macaron was so good that it actually made me smile
It's important that we have a good French restaurant in Manchester and we are lucky enough to have one. Will definitely be back! Thank you Eric the chef!
Some of the best food we have ever eaten, with perfect, friendly service. We loved everything about 63 Degrees and are counting the days until we can go back. I am sure I will be waking up at night thinking about their fillet of beef... fabulous!
A real surprise, we just wandered in and found it really pleasant inside
Not big or overpowering we found it very nice
The food is really well cooked very flavoursome and for good food reasonable price
For me easy wheelchair access although no disabled loo but that’s a minor really I didn’t mind
Would I go again yes of course it’s a keeper in the diary
For the final night out of our honeymoon we decided to go back to 63 degrees. Did not dissappoint. Such amazing service and food. We recommend highly to anyone looking for a lovely relaxed yet upmarket meal experience. Simply delicious!

Very impressive food, great wine list and friendly service throughout. One of Manchester's best restaurants.
Beautiful. The food was delicious. Authentic. What a lovely venue & ambience. Would recommend to anyone. The food was cooked with perfection.
Fantastic French food as always! Highly recommended. Would deserve michelan star with right venue.
Outstanding value
Maybe it’s because we are used to London prices but £55 for a five course tasting menu INCLUDING wine flight is incredible value. Very friendly family restaurant and the food was excellent. Starting to revise my view of Manchester - there are good things here.....
Really loved it here. Nice wine selection, very good atmosphere and of course good food. I've been all around France, and in french restaurants around the world, and I do believe this is legit.
Well worth a visit, great food in a friendly atmosphere
Fantastic food and great service. We enjoyed every bite! Can't wait to go back to this elegant gem.
‘Lemon Cream’ was literally just that, a Martini glass filled with lemony flavoured cream and topped with 3 raspberries.
63°’s main selling points remain its location, nestled between Market Street and the city’s increasingly trendy Northern Quarter; it’s relaxed service and, of course, the ‘family’ connection. Alongside Alexandre, the father, Head Chef, Eric Moreau, can be seen smiling at the pass as he calmly oversees what comes out of the restaurant’s semi open kitchen whilst his wife Florence, elegantly and efficiently serves the front of house.
63 Degrees is the cuisine I fell in love with – simple yet well thought out French cuisine with careful, attentive front of house and unobtrusive French music on the speakers. Manchester needs more chic, more glamour and more French – viva la revolution!
Exquisite, sublime, perfect.
It's a rare find when everything is perfect, but 63 Degrees is the sheer level of perfection that every restaurant should aim to have.
Greeting was warm, decor was Parisian in nature, yet warm. Quirky lamps that mimicked a candle flame. A clam, tranquil atmosphere. Perfect for romantic meals.
Service was excellent, professional, yet warm. The wine list had a good choice yet wasn't overloaded like some restaurants.
The food was divine. We could see in the kitchen and there was only one chef, who knocked it out of the park. Everything was elevated, every mouthful, near sensual. Definitely the best French food we've had at a Manchester restaurant in terms of quality so far. Could easily gain a Michelin star if they wanted.
I'd recommend everything. The Rose Apple Tart, spectacular in taste and presentation, and for those Instagram lovers, definitely a prized photo.
Came here for partner's birthday and they supplied a birthday treat, honestly just the cherry on top of a perfect experience.
Overall, perfect. Kudos to the 63 degrees owner, they have a gem here.
My partner has already posted a review, but I wanted to give 63 Degrees another 5 stars. We went there for my birthday and everything was absolutely amazing. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was the perfect balance between professional and accessible. The menu is great, I wanted to order everything, and the food was incredible, bravo to the chef. I was sad (but full) when i finished my dessert! My favourite dish was the mushroom and egg starter. It reminded me of the French countryside in autumn.
I found the atmosphere and decor to be very much like the brasseries from my native France, and it was lovely to celebrate my birthday in such a setting. Thank you to the team at 63 Degrees!
I have started to reserve reviews for those places that really stand out to me.
I took my wife here for her Birthday lunch, hadn't heard much about it so was being hopeful that it would do well. What an amazing place. So, so glad to have found it.
The service was impeccable. First place in a while where I've been genuinely happy to pay service charge. The staff member, I wish I got his name, was a great host. Great smile, speedy service, so friendly and welcoming.
The food was even better. Very rich. I'm not the biggest fan of French cuisine usually, but you really do have to appreciate really well made food.
On top of everything, they made my wife feel so special on her birthday. Thank you so much 63° degrees! I will be back.
Atmosphere, cost, portion sizes, food, presentation, all 5/5. Nothing was amiss. Even the cocktails were so well done. Can't praise this place enough.
A big wowww!!!
This restuarant really deserves a big applaud.
Food is excellent and the staff courtesy makes it stand on top.
Specially fine deserts makes the end remarkable.
Really enjoyed this one, the steak was absolutely amazing and all the sides came as a great compliment to the overall food experience. The service was remarkable and there is a genuine interest from the staff to provide the highest quality of service. Great atmosphere as well, you can see people enjoying their food and just having a good time. I genuinely couldn’t fault this place at all. Pricing wise, its slightly higher than places around but you get what you pay for, we will be back!
The food was delicious, had the oyster and duck to start then both had the veal. I had the sweet chestnut sauce for desert which I wouldn't order again to be fair, not that it was unpleasant, it just wasn't up to the standard of the starters and mains.
Great wine list and a funky Halloween cocktail. The staff were cracking too, very nice and accommodating. Fully recommend and we will be back 🙂
If you're looking for amazing food and service, this is where it's at. My wife and I loved every dish, the food here is on another level.
True French cuisine at it's finest.
A wonderful taste of France right here in the northern Quarter of Manchester. Wonderful old school French food with good wine options and an informal smart dining room.
First time visiting, food was exceptional. Had the lobster soup, monkfish in red wine and chocolate fondant
We had a great lunch here to celebrate our 21st years anniversary on the coronation day. Nice food nice atmosphere. It’s a must try dessert “Strawberry soup”.
