Visited on a Friday evening during a weekend stay in Manchester. We’ve been a couple of times before and always loved it.
We’d booked a table and on arrival were seated quickly and got our drinks orders in.
We then ordered a chicken burrito and the famous burrito, with a side of wonder fries to share. Everything was great. The burritos are really really good, and the atmosphere in the bar/restaurant area was good.
Nothing more to say really... it was all great. Lagerita is recommended.
An amazing place for all burger lovers. They have some amazing burgers which taste so well and wil fulfill all your cravings for good food. Give this place A try.
If u have this then you might not need anything else thats the big loaded burrito. Also tried there boneless chicken blasts with butter which also had goodness of flavour insideit. So when in manchester will be here aswell.
Popped in here following on from online reviews. We were in Manchester for a weekend and fancied some Mexican food. Arrived at 5pm and enjoyed some cocktails at happy hour before heading upstairs for meal. Ordered lettuce cups for starter super tasty then the burritos and chips which were amazing. Yes had to pop downstairs for the happy hour promotions but no hardship. Glad we came here for first meal in Manchester.
A small cosy place with the best burritos in the whole world. Also must try chargrilled dragon wings. Would highly recommend it to everyone visiting or in Manchester !
Spent 6 weeks travelling through europe, and easily the best meal I had hands down. Burritos were out of this world! I would be here all the time if I lived in manchester

A busy place with a different environement, lots of young, beautiful and loud people.

Heard so much but never visited. Went today for lunch and was not dissapointed.
I went for a special steak out burrito which was amazing. Steak strips cooked perfectly with cheese, mushrooms and mustard. My other half went for a shredded pork burrito which i am told was nice but the pork a little on the chewey side. We also shared a bowl of bacon bacon fries. Nice and crisp with a hint of spice, baoconaise ( yes thats real) and bacon bits.
Overall food was pretty damn tasty. Only thing that lets the place down is the price of booze.
The items we ordered included the lettuce cups filled with chicken, peanuts, pineapple and mango salsa with BBQ sauce. These were quite fiddly to eat by hand but were different and refreshing. Dirty chicken street tacos topped with cheese, pico de gallo and chipotle sour cream which was flavoursome.
I honestly couldn't have been happier. The place really does do the most fantastic food and drinks; I can't wait to return to try more off the menu. A trip to Luck, Lust, Liquor & Burn also gets you in the mood for a good time as the cocktail drinking didn't stop there (to the detriment of my health/ability to stand). Not only was I not offended on this trip, the staff were wonderful. The place was incredibly busy but they couldn’t do enough to help. I should mention they’re a good looking bunch too.
These guys are on feugo. They have a winning formula for getting people through the door, coming up with absolutely crackers concepts, and keeping folk happy once they are in. I have never had a bad meal from either Almost Famous or Luck, Lust, Liquor and Burn. Consistency is key, but lunacy is clearly in charge...
The burrito was nothing short of spectacular. I was sceptical, when I read the long list of ingredients, but the first bite made me a believer. The pork was tender, the sauce savoury and one of the ingredients had an amazing crispy texture.
Overall I though Luck Lust Liquor and Burn was a pretty great place, the menu and decor are kooky and fun and the staff very helpful and friendly. This would be a great place to go with a big group of friends who are the look out for some spicy and filling grub. It is a welcome addition to the Northern Quarter.
I can't believe that it's a year ago that LLLB opened and it still remains my most viewed blog post ever with several thousand hits. Possibly this was because I was the first to go and review it there. Funnily enough, on the same day, we went to Damson Media City and whilst we enjoyed it, we've not returned since, whereas we've been to Luck Lust Liquor and Burn quite a few times. Because at places like this, you can get a good feed for around a tenner so you return more often.
We also ordered ‘Warm Artichoke Dip’ which was an absolute revelation. Thick, warm, comforting and oozing with cream cheese and a gorgeous crust on top where it had been grilled. Served with a bucket of tortilla chips I just couldn’t stop eating them no matter how full I got.
The nachos and the lettuce cups were the stand out dishes for me but if you're looking for "authentic Mexican cuisine", this ain't it!
Turn up, hope you get a table, then devour monstrous burritos and brilliantly unhealthy fries. If that sounds amazing, it's because it is. For the price, LLLB offers up some of the most fulfilling food in Manchester. Highly recommended

No booking policy. Simply a "we will call you when there is room" service at the door.
On both occasions I have been told I was lucky, Having only had to wait twenty and Fourty five minutes for dinner. My friend and a former class mate of mine both claim to have had to wait in excess of an hour and a half. A wait which all three claim to be absolutely worth it.
On seated, the food and service are very quick. However, despite the speedy prep of the food. This is no fast food restaurant.
My personal choice of the triple threat burger with freshly crushed avocado as a side is a meaty double burger with bacon and a generous helping of pulled pork on top. Coated in marinade, the triple threat burger gives you an unbeatable depth of flavour, to such an extent that its in my top three burgers of all time. Ferociously fighting for first place.
Truly a cracking joint. I try and make time for it every time I go up to Manchester, and so should you.
The best burger place in Manchester, the only problem I had with it was we had to wait 2hrs for a table and that's a long wait when your so hungry! But once we got a table and ordered we were not disappointed! Wouldn't go on a weekend as it gets really busy hence the 2hr wait but I don't know anyone that has a bad word to say about love lust liquor and burn! All the staff are fab and very friendly there is a brilliant cocktail bar downstairs while you wait with a wide selection of drinks would defiantly return :)

So, for the first time I had a bunch of people finally visiting me from back home (Mumbai) which included a journalist cum world traveler, a finance guru (my uncle), a lecturer (my aunt) and iron man (my 7 year old cousin). They reached Manchester --- tired and hungry expecting the Manchester foodie (me :D love this name tag for myself) to take them to an amazing place to feed their stomach. After a lot of debate we decided on Mexican cuisine, and the first name that came to my mind was Luck Lust Liquor and Burn.
It was rainy as always in Manchester and we walked to Almost Famous's very lustful sister establishment. The barman greeted me with a massive smile (completely unlike my last experience here) and we got a table for 4 and a half people (half being my little cousin). The restaurant lived up to its name because it was indeed very lustful and well let's just say Mexicano. We ordered for corona's and wine for drinks which were decently priced (3.5 and 4 pounds respectively). Moving on to the most orgasmic bit -- FOOD (yumm)... we went for a Bikini Hottie (hell yeah!), Jailbreak Beef Chilli and Mac & Cheese. I must admit I started drooling the minute they brought the order to our plate and all the drool was worth it as the food was literally out of the world!
Now lets get to the music, they won me over with soundtracks from Pulp Fiction and Santana. I was pleasantly surprised to see how the place was full on a Thursday afternoon (seems like there are quite a few freelancers in Manchester).
Verdict : I can't wait to go back

After a delicious brunch at Teacup, we headed out of town to Lyme Park to see the Mansion that Pride and Prejudice was shot at… After walking around, taking photos and taking in the marvellous scenic views.. We got hungry

Lust Lust houses Manchester’s top burger joint, Almost Famous while offering their take on mexican classics such as burritos and tacos..
Don’t be surprised of the amount we ordered.. Cause we were really hungry.. Here is what we had
First up, 3 sets of shredded beef, chicken and bbq pulled pork tacos and their fiery buffalo fillets, thats right fillet not wings!
They were delicious… Succulent, pack full of flavours and the tacos topping were a great combination.. The buffalo fillets were really juicy and the sauce had the right amount of heat and acidity to it which sometime hard to find the right balance… Great start to the meal
Almost Famous goes big on their burgers, with four of us being super hungry we got the inferno tower.. Four meat pattys, chilli, spicy sour cream, cheese, inferno chicken fillets all in a bun.. And their double bacon cheese burger concoction
The burgers were really good… Especially the bacon cheeseburger, tender savour patty, sweet and smokey bacon with their homemade famous sauce were delicious! Plus their fries were also crunchy outside and soft inside.. Delicious…
If you like american and mexican comfort food.. Come and indulge it here in the Northern Quarter of Manchester cause I think its really good…
This January’s discount promotion is a great month for someone like me, a homemaker. It helps me take a break from cooking and experience the flavors of different countries. Today, I visited a Mexican restaurant for the first time. The food was fantastic, not too much, allowing me to enjoy a delightful lunch.
Came here for lunch today and it was very lovely. Kind staff, lovely atmosphere and they were so nice to accommodate our big group and offer table service. The food was nice however some of the dishes such as the shrimp tacos were a bit small. But would definitely come here again for a drink or a burrito!
Came here Friday evening with a friend, although empty at the start it quickly filled up with groups of people drinking and having a good time. Food was tasty but took ages to come out and we found hard pieces of shrimp shell in our burrito. Music was also very loud which although expected for a busy Friday night made having conversations difficult. Other than that had a really wonderful time and a good selection of options on the menu.
Had great food here, the complimentary tortilla chips while you wait are a nice touch and the burritos were lovely and packed with filling. I had the chicken Ceasar one and it was great. Huge portions of everything.
Staff were really attentive and the service was super quick, food was ready in record time!
Really surprised by some of the recent reviews saying they had to wait a long time as our experience was the opposite!
I thoroughly enjoyed my burrito. Nice to know they serve halal chicken. The service was personal and light-hearted.

After initial disappointment, because they didn’t have our first choice of food/drinks, even tho it was on the menu, server made it up to us by giving us a discount on a total bill. Food was delicious and even more so as it was 50% off on tacos, it was taco Tuesday. So, that was another pleasant surprise and overall extra yummy deal.
Been a few times over the past couple of years. The place absolutely stank of smoke and grease and the seating was in need of replacing, the tables wobbled like mad. Foods pretty good but the furniture and poor service let it down. Staff completely uninterested.
What a fabulous Caribbean/Mexican style restaurant ! Taco Tuesday !!! We got the Birria Taco, it's so freaking nice! Love it, and also the Buffalo Chicken Blast, Birria Fries, ginger beer, and Lipton Lemon Iced tea. Liquor and Burn Restaurant looks super trendy and got very colorful designs throughout, the beautiful furnishings absolutely are eye-catching! Got to give them credits, making it a gorgeous and vibrant place with so much energy!
Burritos and fries were so delicious, had the vegan chicken burrito & it was nice to see a different vegan option. Cool vibe stunning food!!!
Great spot in NQ, food has always been delicious, good serving sizes and efficient service. Make sure to book in the evenings and weekends as it fills fast.
Very tasty Mexican and big portions which uncharacteristically is not like me to not finish but it done me lol. My burrito was stuffed full of chicken and other yummy stuff which was filling and the chilli beef fries were amazing and so big they could be a meal on their own! It was really busy with a nice atmosphere, clean restaurant and friendly staff. Definitely recommend 💯👌🏻
Cocktails were lovely and friendly staff, but portion sizes quite small for the price you pay. We went on a day when food was 50% off which was great but I think without offers the price is a bit steep. Some vegetarian options but could be more.
Food was excellent and enjoyed frozen margaritas however they seemed very busy and it took a while for food/drinks to arrive. Staff were friendly but we had to keep asking for things (like glasses for water, cutlery etc) but never received them. We will come back as food was great and plenty of choice for vegetarians!
In my opinion, very average taco place.
The food taste okay. Nothing good in particular. Although there is Taco Tuesday, when all tacos are 50% off.

Really lovely staff and the place had a nice vibe to it. 2-4-1 margaritas all day everyday which is great and the food was good. The shrimp in the tacos could have a bit more seasoning to them and could be a bit bigger but nonetheless, delicious food!
They also do 50% off tacos on a Tuesday - would totally recommend!
