Just Great

Healthy, Tasty and Cheap. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone.

The menu changes daily and I have yet to find a dish I dont like. Highlights are the lamb navsari (not sure if that is spelt right!) and the giloda. Having been to india this food tastes authentic and isn't like a typical indian takeaway.

Canteen style Indian food, i.e. always ready, with gorgeous daily specials. Choose a Thali with three veg, or two veg one meat, or two meat one veg. Great home made Chapatis and nice fluffy rice.

I could move to Chorlton so I could go twice a day. YUM !

Great concept for an Indian restaurant. Served in a traditional thali style (selection of different curries) We pretty much had everything they had to offer on our visit. Most starters, mains and drinks. We went during eat out to help out, but I’d HAPPILY pay the full price. It’s still great value for money at full price, let alone at 50% cheaper ! Staff are friendly ! I really enjoyed their keema (minced meat curry), samosa and pakoras. Their chicken curry is delicious too. The ordering system isn’t great as I had to remind the staff what I ordered each time I ordered a course. They kept forgetting sauces, dips etc which can be quite frustrating . Hence the 4/5 stars.

We were recommended to try Chapati Cafe by our house mate and chef, Milan. The food was all freshly prepared on the day, served hot and extremely tasty. We went on a Sunday evening around 19:30h (admittedly not exactly a peak time) and the service was instant. Both of the staff explained the dishes, answered any questions we had and were very friendly. 10/10 satisfied with the food, cleanliness, and value for money. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend you give this place a try if you like curry or are inquisitive to taste something amazing!

There are far more expensive places serving far worse food than this lovely little joint. You do have to get past the plastic seating and realise this is the simple, nutritious and fresh Indian street food for what it is. Skip the meat curries- you won't miss it!

Authentic flavoursome well priced. I took my aunt who was visiting from India & she loved it which says alot! Why not 5 stars I hear you ask? Because they didn't have any Chapatis!

If you want to sample "rice and three"(curries) for under £7 this is your place. Also have various other things on the menu such as curry wraps and lamb chops. The decor is basic but the staff are lovely and the food is cooked freshly daily with different curries every day. Also breakfast is served from 10am the cafe is open until 8pm. Choice of vegetarian and/ or meat curries

If I could give this place 4.75/5 I would. We went for lunch this week and ordered a veg thali with chappatis. The food was 5/5 excellent! Paneer was gorgeous and the dhaal perfectly Spiced. Flavours were just like mum used to make, and the chappatis lovely, thin and soft. Literally my only gripe is that the decor is a bit grey; which really pulls the atmosphere down a bit. I would love to see the interior decor made a bit more warm and cosy and perhaps some nice music too? That would complete the dining experience imo!

One of the best meal I had in Manchester. Being Gujarati, it is closest food I found here. Phudina(mint) chutney was super tasty. Chaptati could have been better. In India, those are more fluffy and smaller in size.

Great authentic food, I loved the idea of daily choices and had the large curry box with 3 veg curries and rice. All 3 curries were delicious and I grabbed some samosas which were beautifully spiced.

Location is handy and staff are friendly. The curries, especially the meat curries, are spicy and taste authentic. Booze and a good range of softdrinks available. Chapatis and sauces very good. Only slight negative is portion sizes could be a bit more generous. You don't get as much curry for your money as at places like This and That.

Always delicious Curry's and sides, has ready to use app with loyalty point system as well as order in person. Great value for money, tasty food. Ambience could be better and some lighting changes would make it feel more warm and inviting, but food very good more than makes up for this.

Popped in here for a quick lunch today. I just had a couple of side dishes, but they were absolutely delicious and the prices are good also. The service was quick and friendly - I'd definitely go back to try a larger dish.

Great little cafe serving a variety of curries every day. Vegan options are great and always several to choose from. Chapattis, rice and salad accompaniments. Very reasonably priced and friendly staff. Would benefit from some high chairs to be more child friendly. Kids menu is good, though.

I was really surprised by the quality and value of the food here. I got a takeaway, 3 curries and 2 chapatis for under a fiver! The staff were friendly and helpful and talked me through the menu. They had a nice range of savory snacks I've never heard of and I think I'll be back to sample few more of these.

Nice wee cafe. Bright, colourful and clean plastic seating and tables. Looks as if this is a place that is always busy. And no wonder. The food which is cheap and very tasty, is served on traditional Indian compartmental metal trays and beakers. Staff are polite, cheerful and helpful. Left feeling full and satisfied. Spacious clean toilet too!
