El Gato Negro - Manchester - Photo album

What a lovely place. Great food, service and ambience. We walked in at 7pm on a Monday. Bar seats. Excellent service and food. Great cocktails. Very good value for the quality. Highly recommend. Best to book for busy nights.
Visited this place after being recommended by a friend. Absolutely gorgeous food, the flavours complimented each other in every dish. My favourites were the beef short rib, the grilled octopus, the dauphinois and the bomba rice! Would 100% recommend coming here!
My husband and ate here on a Sunday night and we were glad we did! We stumbled upon this place in our trip Manchester and walked in without a booking, the resturant was pretty full but thankfully they managed to seat us at the bar. The food was incredible and we loved everything we are, along with
Great little place for some tapas and a cocktail. We were lucky enough to have the sun shining and sat outside. Staff were lovely and helpful.
Honestly I cannot rate this place highly enough. Probably the best tapas I've had outside of Spain. Great atmosphere, fantastic staff and service and unbelievably beautiful food. Granted it is pricey. Like quite pricey. However I was happy to pay due to how much my table of four all enjoyed it. Very
I love it here. I been here for 2years already. The best Spanish food I ever have. Even I went to eat in Spain, this place is still my favorite. They changed the menu often but my favorite of all time was the fried baby squid with lemon alioli. Their sourdough and olive was very nice.
Very nice food, the croquetas were amazing, on the top 3 best croquetas I've eaten in UK. The meatballs are a must. We had sangria and cava sangria and they were just how I imagined they would be, very refreshing and fruity. Good place to have some tapas, a bit pricy but definitely recommend 👌
Went for a quick “snacking” there. We only ordered three items: fish croquette, prawn, and creme brulee. They’re all good esp the prawn! Creme brulee also comes in a big portion which you can share. I quite like the place for having a catch up or a drink. Would recommend to book the place if you co
Found out about this place years ago from the Michelin Guide, and I usually come here for lunch during the weekdays, which they offer to choose any 3 selected items from the menu for £18, and that's a very good price for the quality of food they have. I would recommend their Jamon Iberico Croquetas,
Popped in on the off chance of a table Saturday afternoon, the place was very busy but the staff managed to sort us a table and get us seated quickly. Food and service were great and there’s a nice authentic atmosphere. We will be back 😊
Everything we ordered was delicious and looked amazing on the plates. We had cocktails, and when one of our party asked for a classic that wasn't on the menu, our waitress was happy to oblige. Service was perfect - friendly, professional, knowledgeable. I cannot fault our entire experience.
Just superb. Menu a little hard to understand but the service helps all the team know what there doing. I had an amazing birthday there would highly recommend 🤩🍽️🥂
Had a wonderful lunch here the other week. There was a 3 disher for £18 deal on which was very good value for money. Everything we are was delicious and the mocktail I had was also very nice and didn't taste just like juice like a lot of them.
Been here a couple of times but writing this review because I just had the best cheesecake of my life here! Ordered the pistachio cheesecake which was on the specials menu (please make it permanent!) and it was amazing highly recommend it 😍 Service was also fantastic! The only thing is that service
Came here with a reservation. Great service throughout. Ordering 6 dishes to share between 3. Not too filling but I would say 8 dishes between 3 would be just nice. Seafood was great especially the octopus and prawns very juicy and tasty. Chicken was pretty good too. Others were ok. Comfortable atmo
Got a last minute chef table for our anniversary and the whole experience was GREAT! All the food was so so tasty, we tried about 8 tapas in total plus 2 desserts. Was to die for. King prawns were divine and the octopus was so tender. Delicious. Short ribs coming off the bone, they were incredible.
Lovely food, great atmosphere and good knowledge of food alergies. Unfortunately most dishes on the menu did have allergens making for a small choice of what we could eat. I would return, but i think the menu needs to be made better for people with allergies to give them more choice. The Chocolate c
