I had a three course meal both times I ate here in a three night stay - I voted with my stomach.
The main courses were excellent, and cooked to order. I had a fillet the first time and second time I had an RNR burger (‘try them if you dare’). The fillet was excellent, as was the burger, though I failed to finish it off! I had a side order of chips and salad which explained this. There were only two desserts on offer and both were very well presented and tasty.
The price came to about £35-40 on both days, which I thought was fair.
The service from the older Asian guys was great and polite, but the waitress was a bit slow and unpolished.
I will come again next year when I return to Manchester!

Had the starter platter to share and it was really good. The steak was amazing. Was a bit gutted that the steak didn't come with any sides and had to pay for them separately,but overall it was a good experience. The service is really good. This was my second time there, the first time I had the lamb chops and they were to die for. I definitely recommend this place for meat lovers.
Hands down one of the best ribs i've ever eaten!! Its soft tender spice ribs is one to try. The restaurant atmosphere gave me the vibe of Home!!!
We went by reading the reviews and we were not disappointed (It is halal). Booked in advance and there is a NCP large car park nearby, so parking was not a problem. We ordered buffalo ribs as starters and an Angus steak burger with chips and peppercorn sauce and a 16oz T-bone steak with chips & peppercorn sauce. The service is super quick and even the toilets were clean. We'll worth a visit.
Ate here over two days and was greeted with a warm welcome each time.
I'd recommend:
- starter platter for 2 (this contains 2 buffalo ribs, 2 chicken wings, 2 prawns + a bread and goats cheese thingy - was nice)
- buffalo ribs main (4 pieces)
- beef steak + peppercorn sauce
- mojito mocktail
Servers are efficient and do a good job in bringing food on time/taking back used plates/bring extra food when ordering more and tidying up tables.
However, I did feel the waiters were hovering around 80% of the time so it felt a bit intrusive as if you're being constantly watched over.
I feel like the knives used to cut the steaks can be made a bit sharper so it's easier to cut through the steak.
Pricey but good for a treat. You can find their menu/prices on their website. I didn't appreciate the loud music.
They accept American Express (Amex), the food is halal and no alcohol is served.

Absolutely amazing food. The Buffalo Ribs are finger licking delicious and so tender that you can't lift one piece more than 3 inches. Literally melts in mouth. I asked for medium rare fillet steak and it was perfectly done to my liking. Asif , the manager, was very helpful and he treated us like we were their special customers.
I was not sure about this place but I can say now, this place has the best Beef Ribs I have ever tasted. 100% coming back here and highly recommended to others.

I came with my family and we were seated very fast. Manager Asif was great with us. The food was nice and just as we were told , the ribs were delicious! Overall, would definitely recommend. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience special.
Absolutely amazing, steak was perfect with the peppercorn sauce. Mash was a bit bland but they give salt and pepper on the side which is great. they also give those hand wipes which is great for after eating sticky ribs. So yum highly recommend and I will be going back.
UPDATE:
Went back another time, food was great. My only complaint is that the waiters tend to hover around you. There were 4 waiters standing right next to our table which made it a bit awkward to eat and have conversation with your dinner date as the waiters were literally right there. The place is pretty small so it feels like there’s too many waiters around. Appreciate they’re trying to do good service but it’s a bit overkill having 4 waiters in the same section.
We started with buffalo chicken wings and ribs. Under normal circumstances I would not order ribs but these came very well recommended by the niece. The ribs did not disappoint! They were cooked to fall off the bone and cooked to perfection.
Ribs are definitely recommended for anyone who likes or does not like ribs … they are that good!
The steak was cooked perfectly as requested.
Overall experience was amazing which was added by Asif, Stacy and the rest of the Rump and Rib team

Turned up without a reservation but the brother managed to squeeze me and my wife in which we really appreciatted as we heard good things about the place. Honestly food was really good. Cooked both our steaks right which you would be suprised some places still get wrong but they did it right. Only downside is where we are used to having steak come with sides and sauce, they charge seperately here so be aware. Otherwise i highly recommend. Thank you for the hospitality Rump N Ribs. Will visit again soon In sha allah and next time we will make a reservation lol.

Under normal circumstances I wouldn't have chosen this restaurant as they don't serve alcohol but please don't let that put you off.
We made a last minute booking and they were able to provide a table for 5. The staff were extremely welcoming and made us feel at home. We had quite possibly the best ribs I've ever had as a starter whilst we discussed football with the manager despite him being a united supporter. The starters were a sharing dish for two but we were given enough for the 5 of us to share.
Mains were fantastic, the food killing the conversation as everyone enjoyed everything on their plates.
Service from the waiting staff was efficient and delivered with a smile from the team. None of us needed anything more after the mains and the manager even took us over to the pub afterwards on the premise he needed to get some change.
Really excellent food in a nice atmosphere and served by nice people. Will definitely go again and recommend to everyone who likes a great steak. Thanks for looking after us.
Fantastic place, had a lovely Fillet Steak. Was very modern, clean and tidy. Staff were fantastic too, very accommodating and made us feel most welcome! I’m sure we’ll return again in the future.

We all had the Buffalo Ribs after being shown them in the kitchen hatch and we were not disappointed with our choice. Tasty juicy tender meat falling right off the bone!
We came here yesterday and we were so impressed with the overall experience. The customer service was fantastic, thank you to the man who made us feel comfortable and had a good laugh with (didn’t catch his name, but the owner I presume).
The barbecue ribs were exceptional! We got a portion with just spice and one original and loved both, I highly recommend it! It’s definitely worth the price.
The service food and atmosphere were all 10/10, it was our first time visiting and the food was absolutely incredible, we had the sirloin steak and the T bone steak which were all perfectly done, we’ll defo be visiting again soon! The manager Asif made sure to make us feel welcome and made great recommendations from the menu! This place is a must try for everyone!
This place was a stone throw away from our airbnb and as we were hungry from our flight from Lisbon decided to have dinner. We were 4 adults and 1 infant and the host was so accommodating to make sure we had plenty of room. The menu would suit all taste but 3 of us all ordered the 11oz rump cooked to perfection at medium rare. It was tender Scottish beef and tasty. Our other diner opted for a burger and that was also cooked to order and was huge. A little different system they have is that you have to order all sides and gravy separately so you can choose as many or as little as you want so this will determine the overall price of your meal. I didn't mind this at all as sometimes you might get certain items included that you don't like. Also this is a non alcoholic restaurant but they do have mocktails on offer. Overall it was a good dinner experience.
I had the prawn king for starters and their famous ribs. Food was good but I’ve had better.

Nice prawn starters, absolutely tender, falling off the bone juicy BBQ ribs, and tasty medium rare cote de boeuf 16oz steak.
Edit: 9/9/23... went down again today after several months, and quite simply I have to say, today was THE best cooked and best tasting côte de boeuf🥩😋 I ever had. I can't get over how good it was.
I have been a regular customer for several years, when i need a reliable steak, meaning good size, great taste, cooked exactly as specified, and absolutely rapid service. The staff are extremely freindly and pleasant. Highly recommend sirloin and ribs and supreme chicken.
We got the fillet steak, cote de boeuf and prime chicken breast. We also got 2x mash, veggies, coleslaw, fries and 3x peppercorn sauce.
The filet steak was cooked nicely, the mashed potato is smooth and went down a treat. The veg was a good addition to the meal also.
The cote de boeuf was asked to be done medium rare but was much rarer than expected, we asked for this to be cooked a little more and it was done without a problem. The manager was very attentive and ensured we were all happy. The chicken dish comes in sauce, which we was unaware of hence the extra order of peppercorn sauce but it was nice together.
The green peppercorn is brown! This almost threw me off ordering it but it was very nice actually.
The staff were all lovely and we will be back soon! Thank you all :)
