After seeing Alabama's with queues out the door previously, I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived to see it quiet on a Thursday morning.
As an avid menu reader (my phone is full of pdfs) I already knew what I was having and ordered the steak hash and the banoffee pancakes.
I'd heard GREAT things about Alabama's fluffy American pancakes and they didn't disappoint (especially those candied pecans). But for me the steak hash stole the show. It was a very well cooked, very well balanced dish.
Service was good (if a tiny bit slow), but I would definitely rush back for the first. My only reservation was in case it didn't live up to my first excellent experience.
Best brunch I have eaten in Manchester without a doubt.
Loved the incredible service, the chilled ambiance and the food. Great place for dietary requirements, they look after you, vegan, vegetarian, lactose free. The all day breakfast is great, eggs, pancakes and more. The place is small and gets busy and closes early. The pancakes were cooked perfectly, fluffy and tasty! I also had lactofree peanut butter milkshake which I loved! The 4 stars are because for me there was not enough salt it cheese in the mac and cheese 🙃 but otherwise great!
Well located we were so ready for a big breakfast.
Overly nice lady(for a Portuguese) who made sure everything was fine.
The portion was generous and above all, delicious.
Fresh and well decorated space with inviting burgundy doors.
Will definitely come back next time.

We came here for brunch on Father’s Day and it was just such a lovely experience!
We arrived and were shown straight to a table and greeted really warmly. The waitress asked if we had visited before - when we told her we hadn’t she explained about the specials board and brought us some water.
We ordered hot chocolates and the waitress kindly offered to make special small ones for our three year old twins. They were amazing!
My husband ordered the steak, I ordered the vegetarian breakfast, and we ordered pancakes for our 8 year old and a portion to split between the twins. We also ordered sweet potato wedges.
The food was hot and really, really delicious. The veggie breakfast was the best I’ve had, my husband adored the steak and the kids loved the pancakes. We were also kindly offered ice cream for the children as the food had taken a little longer to arrive as it was busy - which the children were chuffed about! The portions of pancakes was huge - we could have ordered one portion between the three of them!
We had been to a well known American BBQ restaurant a couple of weeks before which hadnt been a great experience - but this one was so different and really has been great! The service and food were just really good. We would recommend and will come back!
Been here twice now, for breakfast. It isn't your typical American style diner like out of the movies, but the food is really perfect. Good subs, pancakes, and everything doused in syrup and bacon and a healthy spoonful of American Freedom. Wave goodbye to your health, and say hello to happiness.
On arrival there was queue even on the outside. First thought, the food must be great if people are actually waiting to be seated. We waited it out also. American menu (just what we were looking for) my son had the pancakes and I the chicken and waffles. Another long wait for the food. Mine was cold when served, staff offered to bring out another order. Staff were nice but it was very busy so it was okay that we had to stop someone here and there. Once the fresh/hot food came out, must say I really enjoyed it. Also good portion size. Overall really nice and comfy making it a great place for brunch.
Everything was absolutely perfect, the place, the service and most importantly the food!!! We had pancakes and eggs on toast as well as hash browns. Even though they don't have scrambled eggs on the menu but you can have eggs the way you want on toast which is perfect for people who dosen't prefer runny eggs or poached eggs. All of the dishes we ordered were equally delicious and we genuinely enjoyed it!
I'm a huge coffee fan, so I'm very picky when it comes to coffee. I have to tell you aside from their amazing food, they serve a really good coffee as well!!!
They have vegan and vegetarian options which superb for a group with different dietary specifications.
The overall vibes of the place was so chilled and I really liked how we were served, it was my first time so the workers explained to me how we should order instead of keeping you lost to figure it out yourself!
I genuinely enjoyed everything about this place, I would highly recommend it!!
Me and my boyfriend had here the Royal Eggs with salmon and delicious punckake. We waited a little but it fits, because you feel that everything was done at the time. The price was good and also the place was really nice, American style. I recommend it

Beware a ‘side’ of harsh browns constitutes as two tiny hash browns. They were nice but excepted more than two tiny ones.
I actually enjoyed their dishes and customer service, great area nearby to my home. The workers are always helpful. Will come back again.
Absolutely fantastic. Had to wait about half an hour and was totally worth it, this is the best "American" breakfast I've had outside the US itself, pancakes were perfect and bacon was cooked just right. Friendly and enthusiastic staff topped things off, will definitely be going back.
An absolute yes!! Put this Place on your list and make sure you eat here. I will agree with the other reviews - food is very good, well presented and the staff indeed are very friendly. The menu choice is extensive and there is something for everyone. The Vegan options are good and clearly well thought out in spite of the Full Vegan Breakfast having normal /ordinary baked beans that you can get from any supermarket. The pancakes and wafles are tremendous. However I can't give this place the full 5 stars as there are essentially 2 problems. Problem 1 you can't book hence you take a chance to get a table. We had to wait 1hr and 15 minutes for a table. Problem 2 the acoustics of the premises makes any sound over exaggerated so before you know you are having to speak incredibly loud so you can be heard at your table. Everyone is doing the same so the noise level is High!!
Pancakes are by far the best I’ve tasted. Even though we left the pancakes out for awhile and ate our poached eggs first. There was a queue but the wait wasn’t Long. Suited for smaller groups.
