Lovely restaurant. Our meals were amazing. Hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. The waiters also attend to you really quickly. For the quality of food, the price is very reasonable. I recommend.

A very authentic Cantonese restaurant with dishes that are difficult to find elsewhere. You can find some of the best "dishes of the day" written on the blackboard. The dim sum was also authentic. If you want a true taste of Cantonese cuisine, this is the place to go. But don't expect the western style Chinese food though, this is probably not the right place for that.

Passed by a few times before deciding to give it a try. Encountered Chef Diao in person, and that's when I found out he's an authentic Hakka. There aren't many places in the UK where you can find delicious Hakka cuisine, but this one is truly worth recommending. The dim sum is freshly made by the dim sum master, and the dishes each have their own unique flavors and are reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the overall dining experience and will definitely come back.

Visited this place for the first time after many recommendations from family and friends and can definitely say it is one of the best authentic chinese restaurants Manchester has to offer currently. Despite being far out from my usual spots in Chinatown, I will be making the extra effort to come here now as the food is outstanding. Most well known for their dim sum offerings, I selected the a-la-carte evening menu and was very impressed! It’s no surprise that the local Chinese community eat here regularly and as the saying goes “Eat where the locals eat”!

first visit (dinner/main menu) second visit (dimsum) we played it safe by primarily ordering the classics bc any dim sum spot has gotta get those right! on the whole, everything was good and met expectations but not necessarily wow. i would say the cripsy chow mein was particularly tasty tho bc it was a very generous portion and so flavourful. their xlb and cheung fun were too thick for my liking (still yet to find a good xlb in mcr) and their ham sui gok was basically empty so i probably won’t order those next time. their main menu dishes are their standouts but overall a hidden gem and def deserve more recognition!

The food is good. The service is medium. The waitress waited in front of the table for me to finish what I was eating so she could take the plates away?? This is extremely rude, pressuring a client to finish their food in a rush? I think it's already rude enough to start clearing up the table before everyone has finished (what if someone else wants to use their cutlery/crockery to finish what I'm eating? Or simply I don't want to be rushed and made feel like I'm making everyone wait). Although I've seen this is mostly cultural and not respected in most normal British restaurants. But waiting for the food to be eaten while standing there is just a different level. The food is decent but nothing really blew my mind. Waiters didn't really recommend us anything. They also didn't bring us the full dimsum menu at first. I am in no rush of going back but I wouldn't say no.

Great Chinese restaurant! I stopped in for a late dinner while working in Manchester. I had the special chow mein, which was huge, the meat was good quality and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I also had some vegetable steamed dumplings which were delightful. The staff were attentive and the service was quick. It seemed a little expensive at first, but the portion size absolutely made up for that.

Best Chinese food I've eaten (ever?!). The prawn wonton noodle soup was a real highlight - wontons filled with plump prawns and delicious homemade noodles. The spring onion pancakes were also amazing - so flakey. They have a different menu pre-6pm but the staff were so nice and let us order from this menu even though we went at 8pm. Big portions and lovely staff. Thanks so much for a great evening

Cantonese restaurant wont disappoint, but this restaurant is not amazingly delicious. Good enough for homesick Hkers like me. Soy milk is delicious not gonna lie. Dim sums are just alright, the siu mai is good compare to all other dim sum restaurants in Manchester. The noodles are not that good honestly. This place is packed on Sunday midday, come early or reserve a table first, or else you will need to wait for up to an hour!

Excellent Chineese food, the crispy fried noodles wins.. Their famous for the Dim-Sum but we didn’t eat pork. and most Dim sums filling is mixed with pork meat or fat. Puck choi with garlic was heavenly. Service is fast and great. Dishes are large in quantity. Will try the fried aubergine next time. I recommend this restaurant if you are craving for delicious Chinese food. Don’t forget to drink jasmine tea too. You might need to wait in line if you arrive around 7 pm.

Fantastic food and lovely attentive staff. We came here by chance as another restaurant was fully booked but what a treat it was. We walked in and were greeted straightaway. We ordered our food and drinks and were informed that what we had ordered would be far too much food for us so we reduced our order, we had ordered 3 house special chow meins but they said 2 would be enough and they were right, there was tonnes of food. I had won ton soup to start and it was beautiful, with a very delicately flavoured broth and delicious won tons, we had sui mai to share and they were the best I have had anywhere. The house special chow meins was fabulous, the meats were perfectly roasted. I have attached pictures but we had already started to devour it so probably doesn't do it justice.

Great and authentic Chinese Cuisine with reasonable priced. Dim Sim, home made noodles, congee, claypot, stir-fry dishes are great and nice. You can’t miss it. Clay pot fish with Roast Pork and bean curb is great. Sweet and sour pork is perfectly cooked with great balance flavours and textures. Steam sea bass is very nice and fresh.

I got myself the chicken skewers and pork chow mein. They were both really good portions, nicely presented and tasted very nice. The restaurant itself was nice and quiet and the staff were attentive and ready to serve

Pics from 2 visits. Both been very good and consistent in quality. Dim sums are freshly steamed and therefore tastier, unlike some restaurants that re-steam or keep steaming them for ages for a quick service. Texture of the noodles (supposedly homemade I think) is nice. Recommend in particular steamed dumplings, noodles and siu mai. Place is clean and decent in size but isn't as big as the typical Chinese restaurants in Chinatown or nearby, so go early or late to avoid having to queue.
