Fantastic jerk chicken! Dougy’s brings true Caribbean flavor and charm to Moss Side. The jerk chicken is well spice and literally falls of the bone.
We ordered the curry-goat, fresh salad greens, fried chicken, rice and peas and fried dumplings: ital (vegan) stew and plantain to share amongst x20 hungry boys and x7 adults.

This place is amazing. The guy never stopped smiling, never stopped being friendly and fed all 9 of us with the most amazing food. Huge portions, cheap prices and thanks to his mum for dishing out the dumplings. I wish I could come back but I live in London, so if you're nearby- GO!

The food here is peng! I come here whenever I can let me tell you, the owners are doing an excellent job! There steak and rice is delicious would rather eat this wholesome Jamaican food than some unhealthy stuff elsewhere! Their frozen pomegranate is awesome too!
Delicious Jamaican food. Good service and reasonably priced....... (probably due to me being used to London's prices). Options are good as well with a range changing to match the day.... Sunday roast etc. If they were open later on Sundays it would be a plus

Cracking food. Melt in the mouth steak with vegetables and rice and peas, comforting macaroni cheese and to top it off cornflake tart and custard. Tasty, belly-busting food like Mother used to make. Massive quantities and tiny price. The place is legendary.
Outside of the islands you will not find a better jerk chicken.
It's authentic, it's delicious, it's quick and it's filling.
It leaves a taste that makes you want more and a burn that's hot enough for that kick but not too hot it's uncomfortable.

Walked in around 1-2 in the afternoon on a Monday, ordered the jerk chicken (high grade) & chips and some extra chips so we went outside to wait for our food.

Tried Dougy's today after recently moving to Manchester had the lamb special and it was delicious. The customer service was also brilliant, will definitely going back!
