A toast with some black coffee and granola is the perfect breakfast combo to have at this cafe. The service is quick and the food is quite sumptuous.
A great deal in a small package. My best place to have breakfast in manchester. From the tea to coffee its all special and with amazing presentation. Loved it
Really cute coffee shop in Manchesters Norther Quarter, great coffee, good food, friendly staff. Tried their parma ham, mozzarella & pesto salad - delicious.
We had a lovely turmeric latte and aero press which both were great. Friendly informative staff and the toast or bread menu to die for. Love this place
Really neat little cafe & shop, friendly helpful staff, nice atmosphere. The front bar is a nice place to work, but the tables in the back are similarly a nice place to get food and eat with a friend. Good food, great coffee.
Lovely morning coffee. Unlike your chains, the coffee is how it should be. Short and strong. The interior is very quirky. Like your local paperchase-come-coffee shop. Great place for a quick coffee fix.
Gorgeous little coffee shop in Manchester's northern quarter that really knows how to do single origin coffee very well indeed. I've had most of the salads here too and they've all impressed immensely! Possibly the best falafel I've ever had and the artisan sourdough bread that it's served with is definitely worth suspending your hipster gluten free diet for!
Trendy little nook in Manchester City centre.
Excellent coffee, warm atmosphere and a tasty menu for breaky and lunch to match.
The extremely stylish Fig and Sparrow logo lets passers-by know that hidden within is a 'Lifestyle Store and Coffee Bar' and just by taking a peek through the window past the people that are often eating and drinking at the front bench you can just make out lots of cutesy household goods along the walls. A cute cafe in the city centre, suitable for working.
🥪 Food: good coffee and excellent full English! The avocado was light and fresh, amazing taste!
🙎 Staff: friendly.
🪑 Atmosphere: not a noisy place.
💷 Price: fair
Many plugs under tables and wifi was fine. It's friendly for remote workers.
Quality lattes and hipster menu, this place is good for reading a book or watching the busy street. There’s not enough indoor seating but service and turnover are faster than your regular brunch spots nearby.
really cute little local cafe. i had some fresh sourdough toast & matcha latte, it was a lot better than the average. i also had their fresh choc chip cookie to take away & it was one of the best i’ve had in a long time.
Great independent cafe for breakfast, hot snacks and drinks. Small but friendly space. Great menu choices saved delicious food. Would recommend for a weekend brunch.
Nice spot for a coffee but I probably wouldn't go back for food as I found the avocado toast overpriced and underwhelming. The baked goods looked nice though, so perhaps that's a better bet for next time.
Nice location that was clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Had espresso and it has a similar roast to those in the area which isn’t my favorite. If this style of roast is for you this is a great location. Very good price on the espresso. Haven’t tried any of the food but looked like it could be good to try.
Excellent food, service and pricing. Dog friendly and considerate of gluten free senza glutine...highly recommended. Wonderful espresso.
Nice food, tasty and good presentation.
Though I thought it was quite expensive just for one small slice of bread.
Cute cafe in Manchester, has nice vibes! My coffee was slightly bitter, but great with some sugar. They also sell some coffee and tea accessories.
Absolutely luv this cafe. Set in the heart of the Northern Quarter, with sanded orginal floorboards, great atmosphere and real Manchester feel. Service is top notch & food + drinks delicious. We are vegan and there are a good selection of vegan options. I recommend the avocado toast & chocolate brownie. I have decaf coffees & they are hard to find as tasty as a normal coffee - here they are beautiful esp with oat milk.
Went in for a late breakfast with my other half. Asked for a small adjustment to the vegan breakfast which they were happy to do. All the staff were super pleasant and the place had a really chilled, warm vibe. To top it off the food was exceptional, and the coffee was also really good. Will definitely be back!
Cute cafe, Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, yummy food and coffee.
Lovely little café, I really like all the wooden furniture in there.
Fast service and a good coffe
We ordered the blueberry pancakes and granola bowl. They were nice but were a bit overpriced considering the quantity of food. We also ordered two ice coffees, which came to £17.50. The food was nice but nothing out of ordinary for the prices.
My Daughter was waiting for her glasses to be done... we went to have a coffee.... what a Gem of a place... i had a lovely Cortado.. Imogen had a cold coffee.. staff really nice... we could have sat there for hours.. back soon!!😊.
This cosy coffee shop in Manchester is a wonderful find. First and foremost, their coffee is excellent, with a wide variety of home brews and a dedicated brew bar they are one of the best places for quality coffee Manchester.
Additionally, they also offer a diverse selection of sweets, sandwiches and other simple foods.
Vegan customers would enjoy a selection of alternative milks, vegan cakes and other food options.
The ambient of this place is also worth mentioning, not only their music is great and just at the right volume and of the right kind that allows conversations to flow uninterrupted, but it is also quite uplifting and comfortable.
It was a great find, will visit again.
