LOVELY FOOD GREAT SERVICE
The food is always freshly cooked the staff are always welcoming and friendly with a great knowledge of the the food they serve and any possible dietary problems. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Hi Really nice food. Nice weather. Proper curry dishes. My waiter was Kornel amazing mate. Every dishes what he recommended was amazing especially desert chocolate coconut cake. Extraordinary ! Soup really good. Definitely I will come back there ! See ya soon

Having not visited a Tampopo for at least five years (the last time being a quick mid-shopping bite to eat in the Trafford Centre), I of course agreed to visit their newly-refurbished Corn Exchange location in the centre of Manchester and check out their menu. Prepare yourself: there’s a LOT of food in this post. Don’t read it if you’re sat at work starving and it’s only 10.30am, is all I’m saying.
First ate here last year with a friend, amazed at variety on the menu, food very tasty & fresh, something to suit all palates, great value too, have been to the one in leeds too but prefer this one. - would highly recommend!
It's amazing, the first time I went, I was blown away. The eastern express menu is extreamly good value for money, I introduced 3 friends the next time I went, and we've been back every three months, as a special day out! LOVE IT!!!
I like Tampopo because it is relaxed, there are a few different cuisines to try under one roof and for those that tend to stick with chinese food there are options that may help open the door to foods from other countries. It certainly did for me some years back.
My first time here. A birthday meal with my cousin and friend from Texas. We were so impressed by Rachel who greeted us! She asked if we had been before, and showed us to our table, explaining all the good stuff. Amber was our waitress. She was new but was not lacking knowledge. She had great recommendations and we had appetizers, vegan and none and drinks and mango sorbet. Everything was delicious and looked amazing too! We loved it all. See pics of what we ordered.
For a street food restaurant, you get more than expected. Great food (reminded me of South East Asia). Rachel was very friendly and had great suggestions from the menu. Amazing service all together. Good prices too. Definitely returning.

Had a lovely Thai meal, food was delicious hot and tasty. Portions are big and it’s not that cheap but it’s definitely worth it for the portions, definitely can take the rest of your meal home.
Service was exceptional and they clearly care about allergies.
Zorrie, our server, was absolutely lovely and accommodating. She gave some brilliant recommendations and always made sure we had whatever we wanted.

If you're ordering the Pad Krapow Khai, strongly suggest that you request to have it prepared with a reduced spice level!!

Was surprised by my friends for a birthday meal, the staff were so accommodating and kind and the food was incredible even for a big party! Kira was super friendly and kind and even sorted out a birthday cake as well as taking care of the big table with ease will definitely come back :)
Absolutely fantastic food, great portions!
Skira was our server, she was very attentive and often knew what we wanted to order before we said! When she went on break she made sure we were looked after, as well as telling us who our temporary server was and pointing her out.

Wow! The service made this experience so much better. I went here for my 22nd Birthday as I saw a post about it online.
Myself and my partner decided to go for 3 small dishes and 1 large dish for share. The small dishes we chose were the sticky wings (vegan) which were super flavourful, the corn fritters which were super crispy and fresh and the Szechuan squid which we were expecting to be more seasoned but they were a little bland and chewy. The large dish we chose was the Singaporean Vermicelli Noodles - Vegetarian.
The girl who served us i believe her name was Cristina, she was very officiant and checked up on us and made sure our dining experience was up to par. I’d definitely recommend here just for the service alone
