Clean contemporary decor and a great menu- can recommend the seafood platter starter ! Lovely lovely staff and just delicious food. Big party of 11 of us...food arrived piping hot and staff just perfectly attentive with drinks orders. A delightful night and no wonder TripAdvisor rates them so highly x

Great service. Very friendly staff. Good choice of beers and cocktails. Some of the beer is a little overpriced (£7 pint) but the food was reasonably priced and very tasty. Would go there again without a doubt
My favorite fried chicken place in Manchester. Been here many times and always order the same thing, thigh with Korean sauce, which is a bit sweeter than other sauces but combined well with the saltiness of the chicken. Good ambience and reasonable price. However, the menu is kinda limited to chicken variations, and no desserts on the menu. Bummer.
You know the rumour that you should never order food from the specials menu because it’s likely an amalgamation of unwanted leftovers? Well, that was proved somewhat correct during our visit to Yard & Coop. We (me, the hubby and our friend) had found ourselves in the Northern Quarter, hungry and overwhelmed by the all-American food choices (side note: the NQ has *way* too many faux-American diners and restaurants), when I spotted Yard & Coop on a ‘food near me’ sweep of the interwebs. It’s a fried chicken restaurant and all three of us like fried chicken, so it seemed like fate.
Honestly the best chicken burger I've ever had. Incredible portion sizes and you would be a fool if you didn't order a portion of Not Chicken Nuggets to share.
As an American, there are quite a few things that I’ve been searching for since moving to the UK: The perfect burger (thanks Bleecker Street for that!), amazing Mexican food (and the search continues, any ideas about that readers?) and really delicious fried chicken (and possibly an amazing buffalo sauce to go with it). It’s been over five years now, and while the burger scene in London has really exploded and made some amazing burgers, the similar explosion in chicken has been lackluster, leaving me feeling forlorn.
Great food. The flavours from the chicken are so good! The lasagna burrito is not a combo you’d think goes but it really does! Salt and pepper chips are to die for as well and the desserts certainly help if you have a sweet tooth. Originally seated in a really cramped area at first but after we mentioned it to staff, they didn’t have a problem moving us. Looking forward to going back
Fantastic food and service. We opted for cherry coke wings, tenders with Doritos sauce and some dirty fries. The gentleman that served us made two separate portions of fries for us at no extra charge as one of us didn’t want cheese. Very impressive service and food.
I have never had anything so delicious in all my life. The salt and pepper wings were out of this world. The cherryade was the best I've ever had too. The onion rings were gorgeous and the cheese sauce was perfect. First time visiting but will definitely be visiting a LOT more soon! Beautiful food, staff are brilliant, and the atmosphere was phenomenal. Keep up the good work!
First time visit on a Thursday lunchtime. Food was delicious, definitely their own unique twist on fried chicken. I had the I ate Mondays burrito which was a mixed up taste sensation,give it try! There's so many food choices in Manchester bit this place deserves your custom!!

If you answered yes to any of the above get yourself here now!! Oh my days. The food is something else, the draught IPA was ice cold and the staff and atmosphere were perfect too. Nice laid back and chilled and no word of a lie one of the greatest things I have ever eaten!
Fantastic meal, absolutely superb. Our waiter Ian was brilliant, friendly & attentive. Totally 5 star experience. Food is epic!
Went with a colleague on a work trip and absolutely loved this place! Good range on the menu, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. I had the Karen burger with onion rings, and then had the brookie at the end, which were all delicious. Will definitely be back.

First time visiting the Northern quarter Manchester from 🏴 we fell in love with this quirky aesthetic chicken place. Ryhs made us feel very welcome and asked us if we had tried any of the house sauces we loved them will 100% be back ! And telling everyone in 🏴 about it :)

I ordered the Karen burger which was lovely and upgraded my fries to the salt and pepper fries which were amazing, love the crispy seaweed on top! The salt and pepper roasties as a side were delicious too!
Great food and service although the food was a little slow coming out but well worth a visit nonetheless.
Interesting venue, loved the decoration and vibe, food was really good my only complaint is the spam wasn't Crispy in my burger.
Would definitely be back.

Just an incredibly dank tray of food!
Every mouthful was amazing.
The Messi Burger had fantastic flavours from the sauces but the chicken was coated with something special! It was so crispy too and plenty of it. I did have to send it back for the pulled beef to be added and I'm glad I didn't miss out because that was really tasty too.
The BBQ Pulled Chicken loaded fries were almost as enjoyable as the burger. Again delicious sauces and plenty of meat. Some was a tad chewy but I suppose it just made the taste last longer!
The place is cool and the staff are a delight.
Couldn't recommend it enough and I'll certainly be back. I feel bad that I've never been before now!

Another great burger!
Having had the best chicken burger of my life on my previous visit it was needless to say I was excited to get another fix.
I ordered a 'Karen' burger with an extra thigh. It didn't match the lofty high standard set but it was still a damn enjoyable burger!
Their chicken is perfectly crisp and juicy.
I also had tots which are always a winner over regular fries. Sadly you can't swap them with your meal (like most places...) so I had to have side salad and pay separately for the tots.
Fortunately I had a free side voucher to use though!
The place itself is always popular and the staff are great. Quite pricey but you'll struggle for a better chicken place in Manchester.
Good place to grab a dinner if you are in the mood for fried chicken.
Walked in around 8 on a Thursday night and were seated quickly. There are menus already on the table. There are QR codes on the table to order but we were approached pretty quickly by a server so we just ordered through her.
The thigh meal is pretty good and includes about 3 boneless fried thighs. The breading wasn't super crispy but it was tasty and the chicken was super juicy. Ordered the gravy upgrade and so came with a large saucer of gravy. The fries were good too.
Overall, it was easy and quick for a good meal and there was free wifi too.
Expectations were high for this place and they didn't really meet them... Seitan 'chicken' thighs were ok but was expecting more flavour. Sauces didn't have enough sweetness and frickles I think needed a bit more patting down before battering as the batter just didn't stay on the pickles. Peach ice tea was also way too sweet. However service and atmosphere was great. Not sure I would recommend.
Place fills up rather quickly within an hour of open so make a reservation if you’re coming in a large group. Staff are really helpful. Burgers are freshly made I’m sure but I wish my chicken patty and fries were just a little hotter. They tasted great though. Large indoor seating area and comfortable inside when it’s rainy and cold.
Awesome food, great choice. Big portion sizes. Staff are lush and friendly.
Only downside was that it was bloody freeeeezing where we sat.
