Very clean and pleasant. A little expensive but first class service throughout. Very wide ranging menu. American style diet with European dishes too. Disabled accessible.
Nice breakfast for a weekend trip
Ate here twice in a row, price is fair and service time was good. Quality of food was as expected High and the waitresses was polite and quick.
Im from Portugal and when I visited my cousin, I always come here to eat. I already brought lots of friends and they all loved it, just like me. has lots of space and lots of light! has a varied menu of traditional food and many veggie options. I loved it!
We had breakfast here on Sunday. The food was freshly prepared and really tasty. Eggs and avocado were fresh and the portions were quite large. Friendly staff. Great tasting coffee. We would eat here again.
Great place for breakfast or brunch! Even the Mini North breakfast at around £3.55 is more than enough to fill you up and the coffees are decent too! Highly recommended for a classy hangover cure!
What can I say? Everything I hoped for! Went on a busy Saturday at noon. First thing, and how often does this happen? The table was immaculately clean. We were greeted straight away and soon after our order taken. Eggs Benedict and Big North Breakfast soon arrived. Superbly presented, hot and really delicious. With 2 coffees cost was £15, well worth it!
Well worth a visit.. We eat here almost every Saturday morning when shopping in the city centre. Located a few minutes walk from the Arndale Centre with welcoming staff it is always worth a visit. My partner frequently eats the enormous Big North breakfast while I prefer to meander across the menu the breakfast is only let down by the fact that the black pudding has its skin left on.
We have never had a bad meal here despite visiting at different times throughout the day and week and with the added bonus of fresh mushrooms and tomatoes (a rarity in Manchester) the breakfasts are worth a visit anytime.
The jacket potatoes, salads and paninis are also delicious for a more then fare price and the cafe also supports the CityScene discount card system which initially enticed us through the doors.
The only downside I can see is the cafe does shut early in the evenings which is disappointing as a visit after work would be delightful, especially as the cafe boasts a license.
5 out of 5 for everything.
Service was impeccable. Quick, attentive and good recommendations.
Clean and bright, although rather generic decor.
Food was amazing. Pancakes were one of the best in Manchester.
Will definitely come again and won’t hesitate to bring others.
Cafe North highlights that you don’t need to be special or have any insta pull- just serve amazing good quality food and people will come.
First visit, had a great impression. Went on Monday morning so it wasn’t busy. I ate the granola bowl and it was yummy. The yoghurt was very thick. And the cappuccino was actually hot. I usually don’t trust independent cafes with making good coffee but this one was well made. The music choice is good too; not too loud, nor too quiet. I’d be open to coming here again in the future to try another food.
Wow!
Came after a friend had a brilliant experience here with an accessible waiter called Mark who knew BSL Level 2.
It was just mind blowing!
Food was tasty and really hot. Perfectly cooked and friends really enjoyed the food!
Great cafe queuing out the door few of us went had breakfast and few other things. My poached eggs on toast for £6 was an amazing bargain. We will be back. Good cuppa too.
Nice food as always with more choices than other cafes in the area while prices were reasonable. Value for money indeed. The cafe was busy but not as busy as some others with long queues. This was good as we could stay there long and no staff would urge you to check the bill. Cafe north has always been and is still my favourite.
Saturday brunch hot spot. We were queuing out the door for a good 15 minutes, but it was worth the wait. Excellent menu selection.
I went for the poached eggs with spinach and added halloumi and a hash brown. It was very tasty. Also helped my friend finished off the pancakes with blueberries, maple syrup and bacon. The pancakes were so light and tasty, would definitely have those myself on a future visit! 👌🏻
My girlfriend and I had a fantastic breakfast at Cafe North. I went for the Full English Breakfast and it was amazing. My girlfriend ordered the Banana Pancakes and they were to die for.
The staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a delicious breakfast spot, check out you won't be disappointed.
Lovely atmosphere, quick service. Food and drinks were great.
Beautiful place with great atmosphere, tasty food and nice service 😋
I’ve walked in and seated within 5 minutes on a very busy Saturday morning, the seating was comfortable and they took our orders quickly. The food was all great, everyone enjoyed their meal and the smoothies were really good.
Lovely place for brunch! I had the soup of the day which was delicious and really good value for money. The cafe is large so even when it’s busy, you still get a good sense of your own space, it’s a nice atmosphere! The service was also incredibly welcoming and friendly
One of the best places to have breakfast at Manchester. We had veg & vegan breakfast.
Very courteous staff & food service.
The ambience too is superb.
We (family of 4 with 2 kids) ended up coming here for brunch after realising that we'd have to queue for 40 mins around the corner in a very popular cookie place...
Had to wait for a table here too as it was a busy Saturday lunchtime, however the wait was reasonable considering time of the day and how busy it was.
Pleasantly surprised with the selection of dishes on the menu, we tried oreo French toast, eggs royal, and egg North. Very tasty and arrived super quickly too!
Kids loved the smoothies, we loved the coffee! Cute cups ☕️
Looking forward to trying other stuff off the menu next time.
Prices average for a cafe in town.
Be prepared for quite a diverse clientele.
Very friendly environment and staff, the food came fast. The food was tasty and fresh 🙂 I just felt that the soup wasn’t a soup and the americano was not Arabica. If it wasn’t then I recommend to change it 😊 otherwise it’s very lovely place and people 👍
We met friends here for breakfast. Our first visit. The large breakfast, poached eggs on toast, sausage muffin and poached eggs and smoked salmon were excellent. The staff were friendly and there was a good atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Will definitely call again
Had a great breakfast here! Eggs Benedict and Mini North breakfast. Loved it. Also enjoyed the drinks.
Really nice place for breakfast... So much to choose from, couldn't make my mind up. The cooked breakfast was lovely, vegetarian options as well.
I had the pancakes with crispy bacon and blueberries, it was nice.
Coffee was really good
It's quite a large space and has a really nice atmosphere, service was good
I had lentil soup and club sandwich menu which was about 11 pounds. It was so good. So delicious. I couldn’t even finish my club sandwich. It was so good.
Thank you for the delicious meal
